I used Sharon to alter slacks & a sports coat (that Men's Warehouse didn't alter correctly the first time). Her work was perfect, price was reasonable, and it was ready when she said it would be. Communication & convenience was equally fantastic. I'd definitely use her as my go-to again. read more

This is the second time I have called Sharon to do alterations for me, last time it was a groom mother dress, this time it was alterations on a suit jacket for my grandson, and last minute! Sharon is very good at what she does, highly recommend read more

botched dress. They did try and make it right but they botched areas of dress that didn't even need altercations.

I debated writing this, but I truly feel like other brides need to be aware before choosing to work with Sharon. My first fitting went fine, but when I went to pick up the dress, I tried it on and it was about four inches too small -- nowhere close to zipping. Sharon admitted she had accidentally taken the fabric out of both sides of the dress instead of just one. I ended up sitting in her shop for over an hour while she tried to fix it, only to be told it wouldn't be ready for another few weeks because it was "prom season." I was leaving for my destination wedding in Italy, so my mom had to return later to pick it up after I'd already left. Sharon packaged it up, and once my mom met me in Italy, we took the dress out to steam it -- only to realize that a piece of the dress was missing. I called Sharon (she didn't answer), and she eventually texted me saying she had found the missing piece still hanging in her shop. My wedding was the next day. Thankfully, my mom worked with our hotel concierge to find a seamstress over an hour away who agreed to open her shop on a Sunday and hand-make the missing piece. My mom had to pay extra for this -- on top of missing out on my wedding day brunch that same morning in order to get the piece. After I shared a story on Instagram about this experience, five close friends reached out to say they had also had bad experiences with Sharon. I was frustrated no one had warned me -- which is exactly why I'm writing this review. Her mistake created a crisis that could have been avoided with more care, and I wouldn't want another bride to go through that. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I just want others to know what they might be getting into. read more

Sharon did an amazing job on my wedding dress alterations. We had multiple sessions in order to get the bust just right (it was tricky!) Often when we met, she would tack the dress, alter it right in front of me, have me try it on again, and repeat this cycle until it was perfect. She truly went above and beyond to ensure my dress fit my body perfectly. I am so thankful for her. I spent about $550 on my alterations, which is extremely reasonable (I did shop around). read more

Very responsive to my message and very helpful! Good price for steaming service for a formal dress for my son's wedding.

I needed to get a dress hemmed a few months back. I was in a rush to get something hemmed, but also wanted to be reasonable to the tailors. I specified that it would be a last minute job, and Sharon took it. I even postponed the time to a few more days so she had more time since I ended up not using the dress for an event. I moved to a new city a few days later only to find my dress unfinished. You can see where the alteration was supposed to be cut, but it wasn't. The dress is the same length as it was. Had I known, I would have brought it back or ask for some accommodation. PLEASE check your clothes before you leave. I never had any issues with a tailors work until now. :( I regret not trying it on before leaving. Also please, If you need last minute work, make sure the tailor actually has time and is reputable. I was pleased with how well she took care of me while I was in store, but seeing that what I paid for is unfinished, I'm deeply upset. Will not be coming back if I ever move back to KC. read more

Sharon is awesome. She was quick to reply, reasonable, professional, got me situated and I was so elated for the result. I had her tailor two pairs of pants for me. I was so impressed I brought back another piece a few days later by appointment. She's who you want. Accommodating and welcoming. Will keep her in my list of go to for the future and to refer. read more

Sharon was amazing! She had her hands full with altering multiple dresses for my daughter's wedding! The bride, mother of the bride and grandmother of the bride! Each gown/dress was done beautifully. My daughter's bridal gown came out even better than I couldn've imagined. She got them all done in a timely fashion and didn't leave out any details. She even altered a bridesmaid dress in 48 hours because she had a baby a week before! Prices were reasonable and she was great fun to work with. Would go back to her 1000 times over! read more

Sharon is wonderful to work with. She actually suggested a shorter length for the hem on a cocktail dress that I was needing. I would not have thought to do that, and I love it. I highly recommend her! read more

I could not recommend Sharon more highly! I was told by other vendors that I would need to pay a rush fee to have my wedding dress altered in 3 months, but Sharon had the dress finished in 1 month with no added fees. Her attention to detail and friendly personality made alterations a wonderful experience! I could not be happier with how my dress came out I will definitely be coming back to her with any future alteration needs! read more

Sharon is the queen of alterations! She just did my wedding dress, and it fit like a glove. I highly recommend Sharon for all of your alteration needs. 10/10 Go here. Brides, on top of already customizing my dress, I lost 20lbs and Sharon has rebuilt the entire thing. If you're looking for someone who not only does incredible work, but also genuinely cares about you on your wedding day. This is the place. I connected with Sharon the moment I stepped through those doors. We discussed my budget, things I was needing to get done, and I could instantly tell that this woman had a heart of gold and I could trust her. Thank you so so so much Sharon for making my dream a reality, and for saving the day with the additional fittings. I can't begin to say how thankful I am. read more

I wld NOT recommend this place. My soon to be daughter in law went here to get her dress altered for her wedding. The first appt went great. Sharon suggested lattice work for the back of the dress. Second visit, my dil tries on dress. OThe back of dress looks great. But my dil brings up she's not sure if it fits right and asks about letting it out some more. Sharon insists she's just not use to it yet. To give it a couple of weeks. I ask what happens after 2 weeks if she still wants it let out, what then? Sharon replies that she will "take care of it". During this visit Sharon's attitude has changed. She is condescending, she's snappy when she talks to us, and is very pushy trying to get my dil to change her mind about letting it out. So I pay for the work that she had done so far. Make our next appt for a fitting. She is going to do the hem next. Our last visit we show up and my dil has the dress on. Sharon has her walking around then has her TRY to sit. Guess what? My dil can't. She's afraid the dress will rip. (At this time Sharon is very hateful towards us) my dil tells her she's afraid it will rip when she sits cuz its obviously too tight! Sharon snaps that if it does she will fix it. (Very hateful) When pressed about this Sharon replies that her and her girls are "too busy" to let the dress out and all that it wld take to do so!! Incredible!!! She then tries to offer up that "after all, she gifted us the lattice work. And didn't charges us for it." Hmmm? Then what EXACTLY did I pay $164.00 for on our second app?? I then had to pay $210.00 for the hem work done. And didn't know what to suggest for the dress!! So we were basically screwed over by this lying, hateful, OWNER of the company. My dil was crushed. And I was so pissed I cldnt see straight. All of this happened over 2 weeks ago. I put off giving a review cuz I wanted a chance to cool off and not let it reflect my review. If Sharon did not have time to do the dress properly, the way my dil wanted, then she sld of said so. We were just starting our search for a seamstress. We cld of moved on to the next name on our list. She is a very rude person. And a flat out liar! Gifting us the lattice work that she did? News flash, that $164.00 payment wasn't for the "pleasure" of ur company! And u bullied my dil, lied and reneged on ur promise. I can verify everything I have posted here either by a witness or my receipts. This was supposed to be a special occasion for her and you totally screwed us!!!! read more

I love Sharon. She was so helpful, sweet, and easy to work with. My friend recommended Sharon to me when she found out it was a month before my wedding and my dress wasn't altered yet. Sharon stepped in and calmed my nerves. She pinned, tucked, and offered her expertise to make me feel like a blushing bride. I asked her for suggestions for various things (sleeves, belt, earrings, head piece, etc) and she reeled my back and reminded me that sometimes simplicity really speaks volumes. Sharon was a joy to work with, ready to laugh or offer advice (about your dress and of life). I'll recommend her to all my friends, brides, and future brides. Thanks for making it a low-stress experience, Sharon! read more

I called Sharon on a weekend slightly panicked as a bridesmaid dress I needed to wear in just 2 weeks needed alterations. Sharon answered my call and set up an appointment to help me that same day. She was so calm and so easy to talk to, offering me a quick turn around time for my dress later that week! I'm happy to say with the alterations completed, the dress fit and I was able to wear it the next weekend for the wedding without any issues. The alterations were flawless and she was so easy to work with. Thank you again Sharon for saving the day! read more

I contacted Sharon about 3 months before my wedding date after finding her on google and facebook. I was nervous about alterations because of the intricate detailing with embroidery and beading on my dress and scalloped train. Sharon put me at ease and delivered beautiful alterations and one heck of a bustle! I can only imagine the hours of handiwork with the beading and moving up my scalloped hem must have taken. She also took my dress in and was able to line up the beading seamlessly. I also bought a good quality hair comb and cathedral veil from her shop. I should add that I had a total of 3 fittings, and she always made the deadlines she set for us. She was an absolute joy to work with and is honest in her work. She has my highest recommendation! read more
