We've worked with Elizabeth a few times now, and I will say, without hesitation, that I WISH I had more clothes that needed altering! I absolutely love working with Elizabeth, be it in her lovely "office" (a very, very cute old Olathe home sitting right on Santa Fe serves as her place of business!) or over the phone! She has a long-lost-mother sense of friendliness at all times, and an energy I pray I had at any age! She is absolutely amazing at her craft, and we've never once had any issues with any of the work she has performed for us, no matter the type or make of clothing! She's up front about her cost, and compared to anyone I've used throughout the Johnson Country suburbs, her value is very fair and good! Lastly, she has always been very quick on turnaround, and has never once let us down with regard to having things ready when she says she will! read more

She is amazing. I found a beautiful dress that had some odd fitting areas. She fixed them and made it look custom.

I would caution anyone from using this tailor. After several weeks I called to see if my garnet was done was told would be done today. When my husband picked the garmet Up he was charged but the work requested was not done. When I called Elizabeth asking for a refund she lied and said we didn't request the work we did. When my husband requested the paper he filled out when the work was requested Elizabeth said she didn't have it anymore. Horrible customer service and the lying was the wost! read more

Elizabeth is an amazing seamstress. She is detailed and her work always comes out perfect. I highly recommend her.

I've had such great experiences here! She mended & altered several of my clothing items with great care & skill. When I came to pick them up, I didn't realize she only accepts cash or check and arrived unprepared. Without hesitation, she simply smiled and told me to pay when I had time to come back. That sense of community is exactly why supporting local businesses matters- people do care. I've returned several times with cash in hand. read more

Elizabeth's Alterations in Olathe KS is fabulous! Elizabeth is the sweetest lady. My mother of the bride dress needed a minor fix as it was like that from someone trying it on at the store. But after months of searching I finally found this one and it was the only one so I bought it knowing I would have to have it repaired. Elizabeth fixed it and wouldn't even charge me because she said it was such an easy fix! I will definitely always use her from here on out. read more

I'd recommend Elizabeth to ANYONE who needs any kind of tailoring or alterations. She is extremely talented. But also so kind, ethical, and considerate. (She told me that there are not many tailors left. What a shame. Is this a "dying trade"? We need competent tailors!) I'm very thankful I found her and as long as she's in business I will only bring any tailoring needs to her. May God bless her and give her grace in her business. read more

I was recommended to Elizabeth's Alterations by none-other than my mother, and Elizabeth is the best tailor in the world, no doubt about it. The work she has done with my shirts and suits is unbelievable. She has a sign on the wall that says: "If Elizabeth can't do it, it can't be done." That sums it up. read more
