They are thoroughly skilled in the French reweaving technique with such results that on the one garment I was unable to find where exactly they did the work -- the damage was fixed with nary a sign. The work on both garments -- both suit jackets -- was done in obvious places: the upper back on one and the right sleeve on the other. They were challenging jobs and they are completely fixed. The turnaround time was quick respective of the skill and expertise that is required for this method of fixing. And the pricing is beyond reasonable. Listen, I hope I never have to contact these fine people again. But I rest assured that should I ever have another moth problem, it won't be the "end of the world" because the talented ladies at AGR will be there to . . . ahem . . . patch things up. I highly recommend AGR to make your holes whole again!

Unfortunately, they were not able to deliver the jacket to me by the original deadline, due to a lack of the required materials. As much as I wish the jacket could have been ready when my grandfather passed, I was comforted by the quality of the repair when I finally did receive it. Although I was promised a discount because of their inability to complete my repair on time, the discount was small and relatively meaningless compared to the total cost. This left a bad taste in my mouth and the experience as a whole soured me towards ever wanting to use their services again. I mentioned as much in a negative review on this site shortly after returning home. Upon submitting my review, I was contacted in less than 2 hours by the owner, who apologized for my experience and offered me a full refund. Even after giving me all of my money back, she never asked me to take my review down, which spoke volumes of her character. Because of this, I have edited my review and rating. The final marks: Customer Service: 2.5/5 stars due to poor communication surrounding the delays. Quality of Repair Work: 5/5 stars

Moreover, I needed this to fit me perfectly in less than 2 weeks with zero room for error. Today, I picked it up and they did a FANTASTIC job!! Not only did they rise up to my expectations, they exceeded them by far. The dress fits like a glove. It fits so well that I look skinnier and more fit after they fixed it. (Just kidding). As for speed and pricing, they truly are speedy! I got a completely re-structured dress in less than 4 business days. My dress cost more than the other reviews, but I had so much work done to it and the fabric was pretty delicate (lace) that I feel like I got a great deal. I have paid other tailors so much more to do less work and left me dissatisfied. None of my clothes will be going anywhere but Speedy Alterations from now on!

As a plus size bride, I did not want to make an already vulnerable experience harder with a difficult experience before my wedding. And the hard part: I wanted them to be local. I feel incredibly blessed that I found Courtney, and that she took me in. She was INCREDIBLE. So sweet, incredibly talented and knowledgeable... not to mention very sensitive. He was told that taking the dress in would address both. When we picked it up, the straps were even looser - easily falling off the shoulder - and the fit was asymmetrical. We called and were told to bring her back to correct it, which we did. At pickup, we were hit with an unexpected $85 extra charge and told we "never requested" the straps be adjusted. Over $300 later, the dress still doesn't fit properly. We left feeling taken advantage of, misled, and pressured. Dads/parents: if you're not a tailoring expert, be extra cautious here. We won't be using Larissa's ever again.
