My husband and I are planning a vow renewal for our anniversary, to take place in the Hoh rainforest at Olympic National Park in Washington this summer. We have hired a photographer and I spent more than I ever have on a beautiful sequined deep olive green gown. I was so nervous to get all the necessary alterations, including a major shortening due to my 5'2 stature. I was able to get that and alteration to shoulders of the gown which allowed it to fit perfectly for my special day. The quality of the work was excellent and the turnaround time was totally reasonable. The alterations cost $120, but it was well worth the investment because this dress is a once in a lifetime experience for me. The craftsmanship was excellent. The worst experience. I took in a brand new pair of white jeans to get them hemmed. I asked to keep the original hem. The person helping me told me I didn't need the original hem. So, I requested that the hem be kept the same width. When I picked up the jeans I informed her that the width was not the same and she stated that they kept the original hem. They did not. The hem is roughly two inches different from when they were purchased. In addition, my white jeans were covered in cat hair (they have a cat that roams freely) and stains. I could not be more un-impressed and will never be back to this place. Also, I did take it to another tailor and they told me that it ABSOLUTELY can be done and is called a euro hem. Horrible communication and horrible customer service from you. read more

We have been using Will Taylor for a while now to have patches put on various jackets and hats. Up until this last request she'd been pretty good. She gave me a date when my jacket would be ready and on that date I went out to pick it up in the rain. I live a ways away so driving that far in the rain was not pleasant for me. When I got it there she told me that my jacket was not ready and she could tell I was upset and she kind of flipped out on me. I asked her why she didn't call me and she had really no response. Had she called me ahead of time before I drove out there I would have said fine I'll pick it let me know when it's done and I'll pick it up then. But she didn't. Today my husband went out to pick up our stuff and he said she was pretty rude to him and did not even offer an apology. We will be locate looking for a new tailor. -- when my husband picked up our stuff you not even tell him thank you. I was on a schedule last week. I couldn't come back in 30 minutes. Don't assume that you know my attitude about life. You know nothing about me. Until last week, we were recommending your business. But the opposite will happen in the future. I find it interesting that the negative reviews you have received you get super defensive instead of being professional. read more

I have used Well Tailor many times over the years since I have a daughter who went to about 10-15 formals and proms in high school. Most recently I had to have a gown hemmed for a wedding my friend had the gall to make black tie. They were extremely fast marking the dress and asked when the wedding was and then picked a pick up date one month out from that to ensure I had the dress in time. The hem was perfect, the timing was perfect. It isn't cheap but I wouldn't trust a cheap tailor. read more

So I didn't take any pictures at this place, but I'm so glad that I found a down-to-earth tailor near my work to take clothes! This place is no frills, but it also means that you work with the people who are actually doing your clothes for you. I needed a bridesmaid's dress hemmed for an upcoming event, and I remembered from times going to David's Bridal that they ask for a LOT of time in advance. I messaged Well Tailor asking if a month was enough time to hem three layers of a bridesmaid dress, and they were quick to respond, giving a quote for each layer/total and saying that a month was plenty of time. I took it in, tried it on, they measured the hems, I left it with them, and then they called me on the day that it was ready. No frills, and super punctual. Thanks, Well Tailor! I bought an expensive specialty cosplay shirt that I needed to have fitted. I took it to another tailor, whom I had used before and liked and respect very much, but they were not able to make the alterations. They said if they altered the shirt to fit me I wouldn't be able to get the shirt on, as the fabric was not elastic enough. While I appreciated them being honest and upfront with me, I had spent a lot of money on the shirt and I decided to get another opinion. After doing some research and reading reviews, I took the shirt to Well Tailor, where I met Kimby. I presented my issue to her and she did not balk whatsoever. She said she could make the needed alterations by installing an invisible zipper along one of the seems while also maintaining the integrity of the original design. I was blown away by her work, the shirt fit me perfectly and the price I was charged much less than I was expecting. I have since gone to Well Tailor for multiple cosplay related alterations, modifications, etc (including a very expensive jacket that she tailored perfectly for me). I even had an emergency situation where I ripped my pants out as I was leaving for a cosplay event that I'd been preparing for weeks. Kimby took care of me right away and I only missed a couple hours of the event. Each time, Well Tailor has exceeded my expectations in quality of work and turnaround time. I also find their price very reasonable for the quality of work they perform. Kimby is a true artist and I feel very fortunate to have found her and I am honored to have her as my tailor! read more

Needed a pair of dress pants hemmed for a wedding. Contacted them via Yelp message on Tuesday and said I needed the pants ready by Friday morning. They replied quickly and said they could get it done for a rush fee. Took the pants in late that day and they had them ready to go on Friday morning, exactly as promised. I was surprised by the attitude of the young woman when I told her I wanted my jeans hemmed. She told me I didn't need hemming. I told her I would wear them with booties and flats and they were too long. She just shook her head and told me to go home and wash them, that they would shrink. I did what she recommended. No shrinkage. I went to another tailor who listened and followed my lead. I will never go back to Well Tailors. read more
