We have hired a photographer and I spent more than I ever have on a beautiful sequined deep olive green gown. I was so nervous to get all the necessary alterations, including a major shortening due to my 5'2 stature. I was able to get that and alteration to shoulders of the gown which allowed it to fit perfectly for my special day. The quality of the work was excellent and the turnaround time was totally reasonable. The alterations cost $120, but it was well worth the investment because this dress is a once in a lifetime experience for me. The craftsmanship was excellent. I also appreciated the excellent customer service and the shop cat, Puma was a wonderful bonus!

So, I requested that the hem be kept the same width. When I picked up the jeans I informed her that the width was not the same and she stated that they kept the original hem. They did not. The hem is roughly two inches different from when they were purchased. In addition, my white jeans were covered in cat hair (they have a cat that roams freely) and stains. I could not be more un-impressed and will never be back to this place. Also, I did take it to another tailor and they told me that it ABSOLUTELY can be done and is called a euro hem. However there were a few red flag. Dan does not Rent but instead of telling you that he simply says "You dont want to rent". So my Groomsman were confused. From there I made the mistake to continue on with Dan. All of the Groomsman were told to get measured. We all went to the local Mens Wearhouse which some of us were afterwards blamed for going to them and others were not. Regardless I had to travel to their store several times going back and forth. Delivering money, trying to get clothes that fit and overall Dan never took out the measuring stick to do what we paid him for. To be a tailor. This lead to even further issues such as many of my guys suits did not fit correctly, undershirts were never measured so none of the neck buttons closed or they were simply too long, prices were paid for things such as belts and shoes which he does not supply and other places would. Even someone such as myself who visited more than 7 times had a suit that was not idea. I don't think Dan is a bad guy. You can just tell this is a business to get customers in for as much money as possible without care for what they need. Again I would recommend not to go here. I wish their family business the best but for something like a wedding it is not your best bet.
