Went to speedway since I have the upside app. Used the pump and didn't hear gas coming out. Receipt failed to print and had to go inside the store to get it. Told the girl behind the counter that gas wasn't coming out and I needed a receipt. All she kept saying was "OK" like she didn't care. I had to move to another tank to continue to fill up and of course the receipt failed to print again so I can upload it to the app to get credit. I went inside the store to get the second receipt and clerk (black lady, glasses and braids) cared more about being on her phone than acknowledging my presence. I get no hello, goodbye or thank you. Speedway on Mission Blvd has done me well over the last few years of living in the area. This is a fairly large gas station with many pumps. I've never had to wait to get to a pump which is nice. I enjoy Tap To Pay that works on (most) of the pumps. I think I've only ever had to move once. The gas station is open quite late, but the inside sales counter is locked up by sunset. I don't blame them, at night, this area is sketchy. On the topic of sketchy, I don't recommend anybody coming here at night. There's no shortage of special characters that seem to drive through here once the sun is down. During the day it feels like any other gas station. I would like to see Speedway add additional lighting to the lot for increased safety. Speedway does a great job of providing some of the lowest priced gas in the area. They're always far cheaper than Chevron and 76. I can't speak to the service as I've never interacted with their associates, but it's a gas station; I don't expect much. I typically fill up elsewhere but appreciate Speedway being open late and offering good pricing. They come in handy every now and then! read more

The old man that works there evenings to nights is so rude. He shuts everything down at 9:00pm. Online and on the door it says they close at 11:00pm. He has a different answer for when they close every time I ask. He won't even let you get anything through the window. I'm done coming here! read more

I only come to this location because it's convenient if I run out of gas during the week. If not I'll fill up at Costco on the weekend. I came here this morning and by my luck again the Apple Pay receiver is not working. So I had to move my car. I was here last week, and the receiver worked but then when I put the pump in my tank it wouldn't pump. I tried multiple times I made sure everything was in correctly. I didn't notice at the station said pay inside. So I went into pay inside and the associate said you already paid. I responded the pump does not work. He then said are you sure you're doing it right? Are you sure the pump is in all the way? I responded yes. In my head, I said I've been pumping for 20 years almost I'm pretty sure I know how to pump gas. So then he proceeded to go outside to my car and man Splane me on how to pump gas. Then he realized that the pump did not work. So I had to move to a different tank. I wouldn't recommend coming here I only go as a last minute resort. read more

Speedway is a shiny looking gas station where an Arco used to be. same convenience store still present. it's not top tier gas but going at 3.55 for regular, it's priced at that level. definitely better deals out there. Costco's regular hasn't gone over 3.09 lately. gas station was busy so they have no incentive to lower prices.... read more

I have been going to this place for years. Recently, the service has been lacking, and all in all, rude. The attendant that was behind the counter saw that I am disabled. I went in to see what was going on with my payment. He rudely said that I "should have had enough time to get gas." & that I "would have to start all over again." "5 seconds should be enough time for anyone to get gas..." Not if you have difficulty walking and a difficult gas cap. Avoid these guys. Go to the ARCO on Mission and Tennyson instead. read more

Went here as they offered cash back with upside. I passed other stations and paid more and they did not honor the claim. The total would have been only a few dollars and as a result of the false advertising, they have lost many customers. I tell everyone that will listen about the bait and switch.
