So I have been a patient at this practice for many years. And yes I miss the original doctor. But this new one has provided quality care to me and my family. Are they perfect? Who is? But they have always taken care of my family eve when there were issues. I go once. A year and they do seem to have some turnover in staff or at least I seem to not recognize the techs and receptionist. But all were very respectful of me and my time. I recommend them for eye exams and eyewear. read more

Dr Aguilera and the staff that made Spectrum Vision great are gone! The place is terrible now! They messed my sister's glasses up 2 times and when she told them that she couldn't see with them, they tried to tell her that she could! Then they CHARGED HER $45 to fix them! We'll see if they get it right the 3rd time. ALSO they have caused several of my friends that go there problems. I will be finding another provider. My Mom, Sister, my niece, my boss and 2 of my coworkers will leave Spectrum as well. read more

I was a patient here for a long time - and I absolutely love Dr. Aguilera. Sadly, the business was recently purchased by another doctor, and now the place is a complete mess. You can't get an appointment because the webform is broken. I called - but they don't answer the phone. I tried leaving a message with their service, but they don't return calls. On my last desperate attempt to book an appointment - I sent an email, which was also ignored. Finally I drove to the office and spoke the front desk, who offered to make me an appointment - but told me my vision insurance wouldn't cover it, as this was now considered a medical appointment. Never mind.... this business is now being run by a clown. I will go elsewhere. read more

I'll start by saying this is the BEST eye doctor I have had in my lifetime! Courteous and kind. Something lacking a lot these days. This being Yelp and all, I'm sure there are a couple of folks that just can't handle their kindness and judgement. But I'm willing to bet 99 out of 100 folks would love the service they receive here. Dr. Aguilera is an outstanding doctor. HOWEVER, her staff, although very nice people have not done a great job with ordering glasses and contacts. They ordered the glasses...but the factory messed up the order. It took a month to finally get the glasses in....yet, where are the contacts I paid for and ordered? Oh, we forgot to order them. Ok. I'm thinking...not having a good experience this time, which...they screwed up an order before. Called today to check on my contact order status. Oh...they sent your contacts to the wrong doctor...let me call you back because we should have a trial pair in the back...but she's with a patient. That was 9:00am this morning. NO ONE CALLED BACK. I am so disappointed. I love Dr. Aguilera but her staff...they need to get it together. read more

Got my elderly wheelchair-bound mother-in-law transported here from her assisted living. Power went out mid-visit, rescheduled for following week and had to arrange transport and get off work ourselves to be there again. An hour before the rescheduled appointment, the office texted and said we had to be there an hour early or they would cancel. Tried to call but no one would answer the phone, only texts. That visit was canceled by the office. We have repeatedly tried to get someone on the phone there to reschedule yet again with no response to messages and no one answering phones. We actually DROVE to the office to try to get this rescheduled and was met by a NASTY lady who made excuse after excuse for why they weren't picking up phones or calling back. Then, she told me she couldn't make an appointment for us to finish up my mother-in-law's interrupted visit for another 6 MONTHS! Everyone in that office is completely rude and unprofessional. read more

Dr. Aguilera is kind, professional, and so thorough. And she will explain anything, and take her time with every patient. She has top-notch optimap technology to detect eye issues. Her staff is polite, they will help you with any glasses purchase you want with no hard sell. Dr. Aguilera even weighed in when I was asking for advice on the glasses I was picking out! And they deal with insurance seamlessly. Amazing office. My 20-year-old daughter, when I told her I had an eye appointment this afternoon (she hasn't been in almost a year) said "Oh say hi for me! This Vision Center is by far the best place I've ever been. And I've been to a lot. I've never had such a thorough eye exam in my life. Dr. Aguilera spent as much time with me as I needed and her assistant did too. She wasn't giving me just any prescription to make it easy. She examined my eyes and we talked options. After a Decision was made, she examined my eyes again to make sure I was comfortable. I've never worn contacts before and her assistant was so patient with me. More patient than I was that's for sure. I would recommend Spectrum Vision ten fold. And I drove an hour and fifteen minutes to get there and would drive further if I had to. That's how wonderful Dr. Aguilera and her staff were. Those places like Lens Crafter and Americas Best (worst) only car about quantity, not quality. Spectrum Vision is the complete opposite. If you're undecided about going here, think no more. And, I forgot to mention her prices. I got the most though eye exam ever, contacts for two weeks and a follow up appointment for $10 after my insurance. $10!!! Make an appointment and get seen. I promise you, you'll be writing a review saying how right I was. read more
