The doctor, as well as the receptionist were all very friendly, courteous and professional. Even for my first appointment they had made me feel like I'd been going there for years. The doctor is very kind and patient, working with a three year old isn't necessarily easy! He took his time, he was genuine and sincere, and was not inconvenienced at all by my questions. He talked to us and answered all of our questions, making sure we understood everything 100%. They have an adorable little room designated just for kids to make sure they never see it as a negative experience which is something I truly appreciated about this doctor. He was unable to do the particular procedure for my daughter so he referred us to a specialist he highly trusted and scheduled our appointment there for the very next day. I highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you have small children scared of visiting the doctor. He will help them overcome it and create a positive experience for them.

I had gone through three unsuccessful retina surgeries with another doctor who told me I was part of a rare 4% with no treatment options. My retina was left in poor condition--a loose buckle, unremoved scar tissue, and not enough silicone oil to protect the eye. I was devastated. Then I found Dr. Venzara. He was thorough, kind, and honest. He immediately identified the problems and performed a complex surgery that lasted over 2.5 hours. Since that surgery in September, my retina has remained attached. I had a follow-up surgery in March to remove the oil, and there's been no scar tissue regrowth since.
