I saw Dr. Miles for the first time last year because he was covered under our new insurance rates,…read morewhereas the doctor I'd been seeing since childhood no longer took our insurance. I chose to see him because, honestly, I was going to get a free pair of glasses. I found him to be a little cold but overall, not a bad doctor. His assistant wasn't the best, but she did her job, I suppose. I wanted to return to him this year, so I made an appointment weeks ago for today. The receptionist I spoke to said he'd call me if he had a problem locating my insurance, however, I never received a call. Today, the receptionist called me an hour before my scheduled appointment, saying they couldn't find my insurance. I talked on the phone with them for about 15 minutes, yet they were not able to resolve the problem, and they said I could call my insurance company. How am I supposed to do this an hour before my appointment? Obviously, a little heated, I said this was ridiculous. They admitted it was their fault, but they said there was nothing they could do about it. Had they called a week ago, I would have gladly located the information for them, and there would have been no issue. But now there's certainly nothing I can do about it either - except to not return to the office and write this review. I see no reward in going back to this doctor's office, especially with my experience today.

You let me know that he does have some of the same frames that I'm seeing all buy for the cheap prices. When I walked in you remember my name from the telephone conversation we had. You showed me a few frames and that's a bunch of questions about classes I've never even been asked before. He's very attentive about finding me the correct pair of glasses that work for my face frame and desires. Bottom line here is the service was very good exceeded expectations as in my adulthood I've learned to have less than zero faith and anything related to medical and doctors. How someone treats you is one of the most important things when you're shopping for something like prescription lenses and frames.
