I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience…read more On March 28th at 9:00 a.m., right when the store opened, I went in to upgrade my grandfather's phone because it had been lost at the hospital after his surgery. His previous phone was completely paid off, so all I needed was a simple upgrade on his line. The associate working that morning was friendly, but I made my instructions very clear. I told her exactly which phone my grandfather wanted. She asked if I wanted insurance, and I specifically said no because this was the first time he had ever lost a phone. She also offered to lower my bill, and I told her not to make any changes to my account. I explained that my husband handles our AT&T account because it's under his military account, and I'm only an authorized user. I specifically asked her not to touch anything other than upgrading my grandfather's line. The transaction appeared to go smoothly, and I left the store. The following month, our bill was slightly different, but I assumed it was due to prorated charges from financing the new phone. Then, in May, our bill changed again. When we reviewed our account, we discovered that the associate had made unauthorized changes. She had: * Removed three Next Up programs from three completely different lines on our account without our knowledge or permission. * Added AT&T Home Protection for $25 per month, something we never requested. * Added insurance to my grandfather's line for $20 per month, even though I had clearly declined it in the store. I later attempted to upgrade those three lines, only to find out the Next Up programs had been canceled. AT&T was able to show me that those changes had been made during my visit to the store. I returned to the store and spoke with a man who told me he had recently transferred there from another location. He informed me that the previous store manager and employees had been fired for doing things like this to inflate their sales numbers. He asked me to text all of the account information to his AT&T work phone so he could forward everything to the district manager. I sent him everything he requested. A week later, he told me the district manager was working on it and that someone would contact me the next day. Two more weeks passed with no response. I followed up again on July 13, and I still have not received any reply. Because of these unauthorized changes, I'm now out the money I paid for the Next Up program over the past year, and I can no longer upgrade those phones as planned without paying them off first. No one from this store has taken responsibility or offered a resolution. I contacted AT&T Corporate, but because this location is an authorized retailer, I was told I have to work directly with the store--which has completely ignored me. Be extremely careful if you visit this location. Double-check every change made to your account before you leave and continue reviewing your bills afterward. My experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not trust this store with my account again. I will also be posting screenshots of my text conversations with the individual who claimed he would help resolve this issue so others can see how this was handled.

He did not even stand to greet us when we entered, he just sat the entire time speaking with his lady friend who was NOT currently conducting business as a customer. He said "IVE BEEN WORKING HERE SINCE 2005 I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT", if he has been with the company for so long why is his customer service to terrible? When the other gentleman came to assist us he stopped him from helping us. I will not be returning to this location.

My parents proudly lived in this home for 54 years. My dad passed away 2 years ago and at 90 years of age, it is just more than my mom can handle at this stage in her life. The home needs a lot of love and that is exactly what the Silver Team ladies brought with them. I consider myself a very good housekeeper but these lovely ladies just worked circles around anything I would have done had I cleaned the home myself. They cleaned areas I wouldn't have even thought of. I just kept walking room to room shaking my head at how they revived the home back to the showplace it is and made it sparkle on all surfaces in every room. It just looks and smells amazing. My nephew and his family helped me move things out the week before the cleaning and they couldn't believe the difference when they moved in the day after the ladies showed up to do their magic. The most important thing though is how amazing the ladies were to work with. They were very professional at all times yet were so pleasant and personable to work with. Such a joy to meet. One of the things they were to clean was the inside and outside of the exterior doors. The back door looked fine and the front door was cleaned, but the front doorjamb was left with cobwebs and dead bugs. Also they were supposed to clean the outside of the appliances. Before they cleaned there were 2 marks on the microwave door left from suction cups. It wasn't obvious, but it was still there after they had supposedly cleaned, so they must have skipped it. There was a rust stain in the basement around the drain that I pointed out. I asked if they thought they could get it out and the supervisor said she had had trouble with getting rust stains out before. I asked them if they use CLR and they said no. I gave them some and they were able to get the rust stain out with that. This review posted saying I was in San Francisco, but the branch that I used was in Collinsville, Illinois. I don't know how to alter that.

Now, they want the remainder of their money for a job not done correctly. I hired a Certified Independent Inspector to do an Inspection after the project was finished. The report shows 23 Marginal Defects and a Major Defect. I have had to have my Insurance Company reopen the claim. Please check them out on casenet.com before you even consider using this company. They have EXCELLENT salesmen who will promise you that their crews have been with them for years. They promise that you will get what you pay for, and the company will stand behind its work. Fantastic service rendered by Brenda at the Spectrum store in Shiloh IL! Be sure to ask for her. Great customer service skills, friendly, prompt, and competent. We went to the Shiloh IL location Friday, 17 Feb, to turn in one seldom used cable box and find ways to reduce our bill. Brenda schooled us on the "Pick 15" service, answered every question we had (many), and told us the new channel lineup would be up and running by the time we got home. Sure enough, it was. She also found some incentives to reduce our bill by quite a bit as well. She is the epitome of great customer service! read more

Without a doubt, the rudest people work here. They sit in their chair barking orders the minute you open the door. You can only hope you don't have a problem signing in with their self service system. If so, they only sit there while the line gets longer all the time screaming what to do from their seated positions. I don't know, just strange), but are also describing the policy for pretty much selling any tech from any vape store or dispensary I've ever been to. The fact you CAN jump through hoops to get any money back strikes me as incredibly accommodating considering my experience at any other store, where generally all sales are final (even if it doesn't work or they sold you something you don't u didn't need!) This place has amazing employees, both knowledgeable and personable. I am very, very socially anxious, but they are always welcoming and the process is fast in a way.. this business feels very safe. The prices are great; sale prices are even better. You can place an order ahead, but if you aren't sure what to get, the employees are well prepared to help you out. They also do really cool community events, some of which are free. I recommend them very strongly... And I am very dubious about the reviews left here before, which is making me question other Yelp ratings.. Anyway, try this place out if you have a chance!
