Let me tell you about my latest ATT Store adventure! Have read alot of reviews lately, only to find 1star ratings and for a lot of those reasons guided to online or overseas contracted customer care, and i agree, NOT worth the time spent with these AI operators or the so called "live language barriers we are challenged with.. :( just HORRIBLE. My family also has ATT products as I have been a long-standing customer as well. Recently, I went into a Corporate Store with no luck in my mind to resolve any of my issues regarding prior or current services from a local state move. BUT TODAY.... i have had ALL of my issues resolved! Just having the patience to speak to someone locally and having them actually listen to your situation makes the difference, just give the right ATT person/sales person a chance. Time will tell over the next few weeks for some of my issues made in plain view with a wonderful ATT Agent (and manager) help from the Fairview Heights StoreI I'm hoping this review gets posted so they may even see it. Long story short, consumers like me, PLEASE don't give up hope to resolve your issues at hand, just DONT CALL ATT Support, Instead, a lot of your answers will and must go through the ATT COPORATE STORES in your towns as I have experienced over the past few weeks and months. CORPORATE STORES have much more power than regular stores, just saying from past experience such as today. If you give those corporate stores a chance, ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE, I must say..! Store charges me $700 in taxes and fees for the new iPhone iPad Apple Watch "deal". Clerk in store doesn't say the first bill was going to be $500. Now I can't go back either because I've paid my phone off and traded in. Terribly deceptive sales and advertising on both this stores and the ATT company's part. read more

Dustin was awesome! I came to get the new iPhone 15 Pro and he helped me through the whole process, was patient, and had such great energy. He also installed my screen protecter, helped me pick out a case, and found me the exact charging block/car charger I was looking for. He answered all my questions about my bill and plan upgrade by telling and showing me. Best experience I've ever had getting a new phone. read more

Waste of time and total fail. I'm a 3 year AT & T customer convinced my wife to switch from Verizon to AT & T . What a mistake. And a total customer service nightmare, with 18 hrs on the phone w/ 12 different " tech" people from AT & T who repeatedly lied to me and only tried to sell me more equip. instead of simply adding the line as requested. Here it is 8 days later, my wife's phone is still dead as a doorknob and AT & T is completely disrespecting us by lying, not returning calls and acting like morons instead of simply adding this line. We're done. Filing FCC, FTC. AG-IL complaints and choosing a better carrier ( any carrier is way better than these clowns ) Never have I ever dealt more unprofessional, rude sleaze balls than this. read more

I went to the AT&T store to get some help on my bill. We did the promotion they had going on add another line and get $700 off a phone. I had the store supervisor Bill help a newer employee. When dealing with the transactions I noticed that on the receipt that the bill was $500 and not $700 he said that it shows correctly on the account and if it's not correct they promised a few items. Tonight, when I went in Bill would not even come to the table and asked me to schedule a new appointment with the staff member that was helping me. Pretty sad that a store manager couldn't come help. Waited outside for a hour before I finally just left. When I went in to check in I was told only 5 people were in front of me but watched countless people get called in before me. The people working seemed extremely overwhelmed and under staffed. I would not come to this location if you are in any kind of rush. I ended up driving to their West Belleville location and was in and out in 20 mins. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. The Manager or Supervisor is useless and needs to find a different job. It's sad that we had to call corporate customer service and they stayed on the line with us as we drove back to the store for them to help us and the Ignorant manager wouldn't help us that the Customer service rep from ATT just told us to leave and that they would just help us figure out what the store FU to begin with. Thankfully the ATT rep finally got everything straightened out for us but never ever will I go to the Fairview Heights ATT store ever again!! read more

Went to get items for new phone purchase and the customer service was horrible. Had a coupon to use for new items sent by AT&T and they would not honor it stating it only applied to AT&T items which that had none in an AT&T store. Asked to speak to manager and was told he was busy and I could come back and talk to the store manager on Monday and this was Saturday. Will never go back there again. Interpretation on the discount wasn't correct on their part and no one wanted or did the right thing and honored the discount . Unbelievable lack of service . The initial service was pretty good and the salesperson was very personable. HOWEVER, the service, in regards to installing my wifi/cable, was by far the WORST I have ever dealt with. My scheduled installation date was 14 Sep between 0900-1100. When no technicians showed up to my location I called this store for inquiries. 30 mins later, when the salesman finally answered, he told me to give it until 1200 and call back if they don't show up. I called back at 1215 and spoke to another salesman who told me that "this is an ongoing issue with the technicians"...WOW, there could not be a worst answer that you can give to a customer. I then asked for the salesman who I initially spoke to and he apologized and was going to look into it. The salesman called me back and told me that my installation date was set up in the system for 19 Sep and he wasn't sure why since he knew he set it up originally for the 14th. He then changed it to the next day (15 sep) for the same time. The salesman told me he would follow up and contact me at 1100 on that day to see if they showed up. 15 Sep 2017 - HA HA GUESS WHAT!? NO FUCKING TECHNICIANS! I called the same salesman and he was blown away. He spoke to his manager and involved them at this point. I messaged the salesman the evening of the 15th and then again on the 16th and received no response. 16 Sep 2017 - I came into the store to speak with a manager who was aware of the issue and was waiting on a reply back from the technician company. The manager explained to me that someone (a sales rep not from the store in which I'm dealing with) went into their system and changed the date to the 19th. After wasting two valuable days of my move-in days provided by the military I am now stuck with NO SERVICE and irresponsible managers that are not actively engaged with the issue. I am now taking my business elsewhere...maybe Spectrum or Verizon. I just moved into a brand new community and I'll be sure to tell the property manager about my experience with AT&T and push the other providers. I don't ask for much, but with limited time as a serviceman for our country, I don't have the luxury of shopping around for service. read more

I went to the Fairview Heights AT&T store on Monday morning with one of my employees. It's the closest one to work and it was time to upgrade his company cell phone. A very nice sales rep named Nicole helped us. I'm writing this review simply because of her service. It was upbeat, friendly, and excellent. I normally dread having to do these kind of things but honestly she made it not so bad. Thanks! read more

I've been here multiple times just to pay my bill. I am always approach by 1 or 2 sales associates that open the door which is very nice. No store does this...constantly opens door for coming and going customers. They greet you and ask how you're doing and how they can assist you. This review is based off of friendly greetings and smiling associates. read more

I went to this store with my husband and had a very pleasant experience. We dealt with a fantastic representative here named Douglas R. (Doug). He took a lot of time with us. He was so helpful and worked very hard to find us the very best deal for our money. We took up a LOT of his time, yet, he was nothing but patient. He helped us get new iPhones, switch over our service from a competing provider, helped us find a better deal on internet and even uverse tv. We were very impressed with how he handled everything. Not only was he completely professional, but also friendly and personable. I highly recommend this store. And... ask for Doug! read more

We have used this store before and had absolutely no problem with anything. After my most recent visits I will never go back there again! The experience was worse than buying a car. Our salesman Kris was a big dope and had no answers for anything without talking to his supervisor, the assistant manager named Alyssa. I bought phone on Wednesday night after mine broke during my sisters funeral. We bought the IPhone 11 Pro Max. Alyssa helped me pick out a case and we were out the door. We thought everything was fine. The next morning, while I was at my Aunts house, the phone got stuck in a loop and I couldn't turn it off and on. Because I needed to have a phone very badly, I went to the ATT store in Waterloo. It turned out that the case that I bought with the assistant manager of the store was not the right case. The salesman in Waterloo also told me about their promotion to trade in your old phone and get the IPhone free. Not one time as any of this mentioned to me in Fairview Heights. Because I bought the phone in Fairview I had to go back there. They refused to honor their own promotion and they didn't have my old phone anymore. I sat there sobbing hysterically because of everything and they didn't even offer me a tissue or say they were sorry for my loss, which they knew about. They were rude,trite and condescending! This is a terrible place and I will never go there again. It takes a special kind of asshole to scam someone that is going through a loss. I ended up keeping the 11 pro max. Then when went to look at cases, Alyssa said she would help me. I told her that it was a great idea since she did such a great job picking out the other one. She walked away and wouldn't even speak to me anymore.....NEVER EVER AGAIN! I am switching carriers. read more

But this time it was 7:20 on a Friday and they should have been packed, but not a single customer and about 5 reps standing around trying to figure out what to do. Odd. But now I know why. I need a SIM card for a new phone I got off eBay. They wanted to charge me $5 for the sim card. It has never happened before, but supposedly it was a new policy if you did not buy one of their over priced products. I objected, the manager came out (very detached) and said that was the policy period. I said without a sim, their service was useless, he shrugged. I said I would take my 220/mo account elsewhere and his reaction was "if that is what you need to do". Over $5 my gosh. I got home, called 611 and that rep was appalled, sent me a sim overnight without charge as customer service should be. I'll be going to a different company store in the future. read more

I ordered a phone online, entered my payment information and everything. Got the email saying I could pick the phone up at the store, so I went in during the evening, at around 6PM on Saturday night. There were about 3 sales people there all working with customers. So, I walked up to the counter where there were 2 people one guy, and one girl who was so involved with her phone that she didn't even look up. The guy asked what he could do for me, and I told him I ordered a phone on-line that I'm here to pick up. He then asked me for my name, and said he'd have someone get that out to me. So I sat down at one of the tables there...and waited. Then I noticed I was number 4 on the list of people to be helped. So I went back up to the counter and asked if I would have to wait until all the other 3 people get helped before I could pick my phone up, I told them I didn't need it programmed or set up, I would do that myself, and he told me I'd have to wait until the others were taken care of....the whole time "emo girl" is just texting away on her phone...I don't understand why neither of them could drop what ever it was they were doing...(which was apparently nothing) and go grab a phone from their inventory and send me on my way...this store and AT&T in general, has really gone downhill. I will find another location to go to, as this store is off my list, they're terrible at customer service, and when you do get someone to take care of you, all they want to do is sell you a bunch of garbage you don't want....I'm sick of it. I made 3 calls to ATT about the status of an appointment that was made over two weeks ago and got No help at all. The first call I was told they were running late and would call me but that is all they could do for me . The second call I was told that they had to transfer me to a dispatch center (which I asked about on the first call) and they would be able to take care of this issue so they transfer me and I have to start the whole mess again with the automated system just to be told that no one has been assigned my ticket as of yet ( now mind you this is 2 and a half hours AFTER my assigned window of time) basically I was told not to call them back to check on this they would call me when they had someone to come out for my appointment . So I have to sit around and wait for them to drop off a box to be plugged in. If I could do negative stars my experience with AT&T on the phone call center over the last few weeks would be a -5 . read more
