Kinda hate this service.. I'm charged late fees nearly every single month because they don't send text or email remainders for payments, only notifications within the site (but you have to be signed in to receive a notification lol). I've also tried auto pay, per their suggestion, past two payments autopay has failed on their end still causing me to have late fees lol. Such a joke. read more

In an economy where people are having to make choices to keep the lights on or feed their families, AT&T could have done the right thing but chose to rip off a long-term customer instead. I was an AT&T customer for many years for both internet, phone, and mobile WiFi . I switched to Google Fiber the minute it became available in my area because of constant billing creep but I kept my mobile WiFi "brick" for secure internet when traveling. This billed automatically to a credit card with autopay that ensured the bill was paid on time every single month. Unused data GBs don't roll over from month to month and I haven't used the Brick in a year but just noticed that the billing increased from $82 to $107/mo - several months ago without notice. I called AT&T to cancel and asked for a refund of last months charges (they can see that I haven't used it AT ALL in a year) but they refused to refund me a cent of the charges after I spent 2 hours on hold shuffled to 3 different people - thanks for wasting not only my money but my time. Don't use AT&T (unless you have a bunch of money to burn)! read more

please do not use at&t for any internet, phone or cable services!!! warning**** my 83 yr old parents have been loyal customers of at&t for their internet, tv, telephone and wireless services for a decade.... but loyalty means nothing bc i noticed on their bill which should be heavily discounted with the bundle of services, they have been charging my parents $625 a month by way of auto pay for over 3 years!! i thought surely this is a mistake and i'd be able to explain to customer service they must have made a billing error and get some of those charges refunded..... but nope!!! they were so rude, blamed my elderly mother for not noticing sooner and refused to refund them a penny, then to top it all off they disconnected their tv service and it's been out for over a week now and you better believe their gonna be billing them for it, i'm so disgusted i've hired an attorney to file suit against these greedy corporate thieves!! at to run salt in the wound every freaking ad they have is for new customers offering what they charged my parents, on a fixed income, $625/ month for only $60 .... what a joke... please do not keep this corp greed giant in business! without their customers they have nothing, and they need reminded of that!!! the best provider out there right now is t mobile by far!! do not give your hard earned money to at&t, they deserve to go bankrupt for the scam they've been running on us... this is elderly abuse in my opinion and for who ever the ceo or cfo of this company is... you ought to be ashamed of your company...i intend to make you pay for hour you've wronged my family if it takes my last dying breath. crooks crooks crooks.... read more

AT&T Internet - Who in the MF charges this amount of money for 1 TV , INTERNET, 1 LANDLINE, AND 2 CELL PHONES???? EVERY MONTH????? THIS IS STEALING!!! - Internet Service Providers Near Me

We have been with AT&T off and on for 50 years. We put up with AT&T for quite a while because there was no other reliable company, but then they began charging us more than we could afford. We dropped AT&T, and switched to Verizon until they charged us an extra fee for a business call. We dropped Verizon and moved to T-Mobile for our cell phones and internet. Because our son is High Functioning Autistic and the internet was unreliable, we switched from T-Mobile to AT&T internet at $80 a month. Shortly there after we switched our cell phones from T-Mobile to Tello because T-Mobile began dropping the senior rates that we had been paying. We have been with AT&T for internet since June of 2025 at $80 a month. We had been Enrolled in Auto pay through our bank account, but then our bank warned us that AT&T's method of collecting from the bank account was not safe or fair. In August of 2026 we switched to auto pay via Debit card/credit card. AT&T did not like that so they raised out rate to $85 a month. I tried to fight it with no results because the people we have to speak to are just minor employees who have no power to help. No in September, 2026 AT&T increased our bill again to $90 a month for the same reason-we will not pay with our bank account. While the internet is great, the cost is a scam to just put more money into the pockets of the owners. I have searched other internet providers, and Verizon, T-Mobile, and Xfinity all have similarly bad reviews due to scam billing. We are very happy with Tello for our phones at a low coast, but we really want a honest, reliable, reasonable cost internet company. read more

I've had ATT for cell phone service many years but this is horrible what they are doing and they don't care about customers. They put my cell phone account under U-Verse. BIG MISTAKE. I HATE U-VERSE. I'm going to have to go shopping now and drop ATT service because they are f'd up man, I mean it. I have to pay them $550 for 2 months time. Does this sound right. when my bill was used to being $130/month. I used to love Directv until ATT bought it out. BREAK THEM UP. TOO EXPENSIVE AND awful services read more

AT&T keeps charging me for wifi service and non-return of equipment that was sent back MONTHS ago. They have sent my account to collections for something they should have received already received. I have called their support line and been assured by whatever agent I spoke to that the issue was corrected before I started getting daily calls from a collection agency where I have been charged for wifi service I had no way of even using as I had no AT&T wifi modem to use this service with as the replacement never arrived to me, just like the faulty wifi modem somehow got lost on its way back to AT&T. What an absolutely horrible company with godawful, lying customer service agents. read more

Had internet issues, called AT&T. I spoke with a Mr. Love and he was incredibly rude, and didn't look into anything I was asking about. Instead he tried to say it was lack of payment, even though I am on AUTOPAY! I've never had issues with anything else nail now! Bot to mention, my bank statements shows that I paid the bill! I believe I will be switching internet providers really soon! And AT&T, DO BETTER!!! Hire people who want to do their jobs and are educated! read more

ZERO stars is more like it! Took my phone on a trade in for $830 so my new phone should be "free". Monthly credits for 36 months will offset the new phone payment. Well, 12 payments in, they stopped credited my account! They are sitting with $531.20 of mine!!! They refuse to credit my account monthly, as promised, and will not return my phone nor cut me a check! They are nothing but thieves! 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them today! Their answer for their fraud and stealing my money: "You changed plans 4 months ago and that negates your "promotions" WHAT? YOU owe me money for taking my phone! They never told us that, they paid for 3 months and stopped this month. I am sure the reason they did that was because you have 30 days to rectify your account. Had I seen the first month that there was no credit for my trade in, I would have called within that time frame! I am sure that's why they waited to discontinue my credits! Now, they have refused to honor the $24 for the remaining 23 months, will NOT return my old phone OR a check! If this isn't theft and fraud, I don't know what is! So now, they are $531 richer by screwing their customers out of money they owe them! DO NOT USE AT&T!!!! read more

AT&T Internet - Internet Service Providers Near Me

Garbage customer service and internet quality. I was warned about AT&T by friends and family but I was an idiot and didn't listen. I experienced an weeklong outage and reps would lie about restoration time. Customer service is not 24/7 in my area. Then on the seventh day, they had the nerve to send push notifications that the outage was restored when it still wasn't. I just canceled after that. Luckily I work hybrid and I'm close to my office. I have no idea how a remote only worker wouldn't be stressed out experiencing an outage this long. They simply don't care. I even wanted to pay all my installation fees upfront just to be done with this clown nonsense but their billing department can't even do that. Lol Also the process to cancel service is painful and slow. The automated voice system is awful. A complete joke. read more

Worst ever. Slow as it can be for internet. Tv constantly hanging up then jumping ahead. Volume super low on some programs, blasting your ears if you change channel. Quality horrible. No value in it. Plus never received promised gift card. But thats an old trick by ATT. read more

If this allowed me to give less than 1 star, I would. Don't ever sign up for internet with AT&T. They will make it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. It's the lengthiest process, with a number of hoops to jump through and will take you at least an hour so be prepared. read more

Lied to about bundle pricing I had someone come to my door and offer cheaper internet than what I had through spectrum with ATT Fiber and comparable speeds so I was interested and signed up. I was told that my phone service through ATT would still be eligible for the $20/mo discount even though it is a prepaid account. I have had ATT cell service for almost 20 years. Once I had my internet and modem set up and service for two months I randomly started getting billed the $65/mo price again and customer service and the management/back office team tell me that I was never actually eligible for a bundle discount because it's a prepaid account. So basically I was lied to about he price and discount I would get which was the only reason I went through all the trouble of switching internet providers. Have other people been tricked into giving them money this way because I'm very frustrated with this companies deceitful tactics to get customers. Now i'm cancelling and have to mail back the modem and deal with getting my previous service through spectrum set up again. read more

Att universe has made my bill go up from 175.00 to 230.74 when I called to ask about deals they said they could not change my computer charges. Or rate of speed I was stuck paying 36.00 a month and all they could give me off cable service 300 terre is 20.00 I let them know my Bill's and income per month. He stated that ATT WAS TRYING TO GET RID UNIVERSE ALL TOGETHER he said they want everyone to switch to direct TV. I ask for the break down of what pay for computer 36.00 and cable 300 terre $179.00. It is highway robbery. He guaranteed my bill for one year would be less than $210.00. I am looking for other service. read more

My god, they are awful. If you move into a new house and the service is not already wired in, DO NOT USE AT&T. I made an appointment before I moved in. The tech shows up, says he will run a line to my house and bury the line, and a week later I'm still waiting for internet. I've called AT&T several times, spending literally 2 hours on the phone. They told me of a mysterious facility issue and then passed me around from one department to another, and then they made me another appointment. Then nobody showed up! So I spent more time on the phone trying to find out what the problem is and how long it will take to fix it. I'm actually still on hold right now. The manager assured me she would take care of this problem, and that she would pass me on to someone knowledgeable. Maybe they are hoping I will just hang up and go away. AT&T is awful. I am done with this company. read more

I signed up for AT&T Fiber when someone door knocked and provided an offer. When they mentioned the $150 Visa Card I said I can qualify for $300 since I have a cell account if I signed up for Fiber online. The sales person agreed and said they will give me $300. I only received $150 after the fiber was installed. I accepted the Visa card and chose the Virtual card rather than receiving a physical card. Bad decision. If you are offered virtual vs physical take the physical. The virtual link worked once and I did not know, so I did not take a screenshot of the virtual card. I can no longer access the card and AT&T will not help to provide access. Shame on me for switching to Fiber with a sales person who lied about $300 and only get $150, which turns out to be $0.00. As for the Fiber I'm happy with the speed. It's working with no issues. Just disappointed with the way they handle the Visa card. Also, be advised Fiber 500 is not $65 as advertised. The bill is actually $70 plus taxes. The bill does not provide a breakdown, but I suspect the $5 is for the modem/router. They do not tell you this. read more

If you are looking for a quality cable service in St Peters MO - DO NOT USE AT&T UVERSE. I've had 3 service techs out over the last couple of months & my cable boxes still lose service WEEKLY! I called numerous times for a resolve & they send me overseas to a service rep that constantly apologizes (even though they could care less). To top it off, they have fluctuated my rates with a $70 increase then a small refund over the last 4 months. I used to think Charter was bad but I may cancel AT&T, get Charter Internet, & go ZERO CABLE cuz I'm sick of getting ripped off. Time to buy a DVR, Netflix, Hulu, & CHILL. read more

AT&T Internet - This is a weekly occurrence. - Internet Service Providers Near Me

They were very dishonest. They told me one price but I'd get billed a different price then it would take a long phone call to get it corrected but then the next bill would be increased. This review is about att tv streaming service. Don't get this product, very unreliable. Almost every time you turn on the tv there is some sort of issue with their software/hardware. Especially bad is HBO MAX, talked to 6 tech support people over the last 4 days for hours. None of them had a clue about how to deliver this service to my tv. A supervisor was supposed to call me back.. never happened. The best advice they could give me was keep turning tv off and on, and resetting the box until it worked. Seriously! Plus you have to sign a 2 year contract which I later found out doubles in price after the first year. read more

I would never tell even my worst enemy to use att uverse. It is crap. Service goes out on diff tvs daily. It's a shame that they don't care about their customers to at least ACT like they care. I would give this company 0 stars if I could.I cancelled my account in January. I owe the $130 but they went into my account, and charged me $260. It is now day 14, and the money shoes up as a credit on my closed account. Then Representative Jona 167991 put me on an eternal hold, and voided my credit from the account. Completely unreliable! Programs do not record, as I am typing this, the show I was watching stopped and message came on screen saying, " Network problems have stopped this stream. The program is not currently available for playing." This is everyday, and when I contact ATT they make me follow troubleshooting steps that I've done so much, that I have them memorized, and to no avail, nothing is resolved. When I ask for equipment replacement if that is the problem, they say they need to send tech out and that may, or may not, cost me up to $200 service charge. I have less than a month on my contract and I am getting very excited, because my neighbor has Charter pipeline and his slow speeds are 50-60Mbps with 3 kids online gaming, recording shows, while watching TV. Also, for last year, my bill would increase, without reason, and I would have to call and argue the fact that I got rate locked for 1 year with confirmation number. Charter will cost me $720 less per year for superior service. If you have the options, do NOT get UVERSE. You WILL REGRET IT, as I have. read more

My very old Gateway needed to be replaced. I spoke to a technician who ordered the new Gateway and advised me NOT to return the old equipment because it was obsolete. So, I received the new Gateway in a few days and it worked fine. It came with a shipping label to return the old equipment, but I recalled that the tech said to ignore the instructions and NOT to return it. I then started getting emails following up for the old equipment to be returned. I called and again was told to ignore them since my equipment was outdated. Then I got charged $150 + $10.61 for equipment not returned. I contacted 4 different ATT reps with my issue and every one of them disregarded what the other employees had advised (to throw the old equipment away and not return it). Because ATT customer service has declined in the last 5 years, I kept the equipment and the mailing instructions, anticipating that this might happen. NO ONE would credit my account. When the equipment was brought to Fed Ex, they advised to keep the receipt because frequently customers have told them that they never received credit for returned equipment.
