It was stolen in the middle of shipment from FedEx drivers spectrum is making me liable for the phone and making me call the cops make a police report prove that I'm not liable for it even though I never received the phone, I would never recommend getting a phone from these people. read more

DO NOT SPEAK TO SPECTRUM PHONE SALES REPRESENTATIVES!!! If you are interested in Spectrum services talk to an instore representative and DO NOT call a Spectrum phone sales representative! Yes the wait at a Spectrum location is annoying but being lied to from Spectrum phone sales representatives is DISGUSTING!!! Ive had Spectrum service since July and ive talked to 7-8 phone representatives who have lied to me to get their sales. Ive even been told by Spectrum instore representatives that the phone representatives lie to customers to get sales. I no longer call Spectrum and will wait to Speak to someone at the Spectrum location. I got the tv and internet service then was told I will get free mobile service for 2 years. LIE!!! A different representative told me it was 1 year and not 2! Couldnt transfer my mobile phone Spectrum so I called to ask about buying a phone. He said they didnt have cellphones instore and that they could only be purchased over the phone. LIE!!! After I bought the phone I went to Spectrum location and they told me they have phones there. I then got the home phone also and found out a week later the price of that phone service was not the original price that that sales person gave me. Insanely long wait times. With a reservation, or not, you're going to spend multiple hours of your life waiting and/or losing your mind.

My internet is pretty good, but be prepared for infuriating incompetence if you try to get in contact with anyone or deal with techs. If you go to the store, you have to make an appointment, often the next day. Try to use chat, the bot gives a few options, none fit, and you end up in an infuriating loop. Ask for a representative, it ignores you. I ended up cussing out the stupid chatbot, and finally got someone. Go figure. Guys came to my house, took them hours to run a new line, and they put it in a new location that means I now had to run 100ft Ethernet cables through two rooms and a hallway to be functional. I will have to buy longer ones because they are currently a huge trip hazard. Why did they put it in such a stupid place? Because it was easiest for them. They first tried to tell me I'd have to pay if I didn't want them to do it an even easier way...clipping the line to the eaves, which would be very visible, and I'm sure the line baking in the sun is a great idea. The cherry on top, they said they'd leave the wall plate to the old hookup (and I'd have to put it back myself) but they took it with them. So now I have a hole in my wall too. read more

There seems be a competition between the Spectrum telephone customer "service" and the people working in the Spectrum Round Rock storefront to see who can be the most obnoxious. When you're ready to cancel your subscription and return the equipment, they don't even want to do that. They want to argue with you. read more

Something so simple turned out to be such a huge hassle after the fact because the lady at the front desk handled my equipment pick up wrong. She handed me my cable box and that was it, no guidance or verification of information, and when I went to set it up I was left talking to a representative for 3 hours because she added the equipment to the wrong address (she didnt even ask me for what address the cable box would be used for???) It ended up being a huge hassle, the phone representatives were very apologetic of this stores poor service and helped me to the best of their ability. Avoid this store at all costs. read more

Waiting to return equipment after fulfilling contract. There was a hand written sign in sheet and 3 stars to the worker that announced if you have equipment to return you can take it to UPS and they will scan and return. What this isn't posted or mentioned on your bill or any of the ads for Spectrum is beyond me. Drove out of my way to go to a 'store' and didn't need to waste my time, effort or gas and could have done it a lot closer to home. read more

This store is almost as good at arrogance, disrespect, and dismissal as the Apple Store at the Arboretum. They don't have a Genius Bar. They have a self proclaimed genius. Who is as hard to deal with as the Apple Genius Bar in the Arboretum. He will say he listened to what I said. I taught middle school students and he listened like a mouthy 7th grader. I actually went to talk to Verizon and they practice bait and switch shamelessly. PS. The Apple Store in Ann Arbor, Michigan was gracious, courteous, and helpful. 4 stars for customer service. 2 for the actual cell machinations. I had stopped in because we bought a new phone for one of my kids and swapped SIM cards and had all sorts of minor issues that I wanted to straighten out. Was immediately greeted and helped by a rep (Nyani? Nyari? I hate that I can't remember his name - he was super nice.). We were there for almost an hour. The rep (whose name I can't remember correctly) was cordial and on it the whole time, but he also helped other reps out as well as what seemed to be a new manager. He greeted other customers, helped set them up with the sign in and explained to one frustrated one that you can make an appointment online and that lets you go to the front of the line when you show up. Most of what he was helping us with was working tech support over the phone and making sure they understood what we needed. Our cell service is great. The back end stuff like this stinks. The manager (who didn't seem to really know a whole lot) did explain that the service is relatively new and they are still working some things out. Sad that it happens on the customers backs. However, with all that - top notch friendly service from store reps is hands down super important! Way to go! read more

if I could give 0 stars I would. spectrum is a money hungry company going after the little guys for $80 from 5 months ago when the service had been cancelled. they refuse to give a refund for the dates we didn't even have service with them. no contact about a balance owed when we cancelled service, turned in equipment or anything until this month. ridiculous customer service that refuse to do anything to help you out. will never use spectrum again. read more

Spectrum raised my Internet, tv and phone costs 3 times since January. When I called to question the reason and ask that they reconsider, I was told they could do nothing for me. I changed to AT&T in the early part of the month. I got a bill today from Spectrum for the whole month. When I called to ask for a prorated bill, I was told that they didn't do that. Beware. They are scamming! Can't believe they expect customers to pay for service not received! read more

There was a problem with the data on the phone, I went in the store to get help. But Cindy, the lady who worked in the front, just gave a number for me to handle myself and a new SIM card to put in myself. Her instructions were vague. I got more help from a representative over the phone than I did in person. It was disappointing because my visits before have been nothing but great. read more
