I received a phone call about 2:15pm letting me know that my phone was done. I got there and they had just started charging it and it was up to 12%. They said all the batteries that they get that are brand new are at zero and they all have to be charged up to 100%. The regular price for having it put in and for the battery was about $119 but I had a coupon for $10 off so I only paid about $109 which was nice. The employees were nice very nice and answered every question I had. They were quite busy in there. There are a lot of customers coming and going. I would definitely go back there for another battery or if my screen breaks or any other damage to my phone that needs repair. They also repair Computers and it showed on Yelp. I believe that they also fix Nintendo switches, which is really nice to know. So far my battery seems to be holding a charge definitely longer than my other one did.

They were sitting in the back and simply called out, "Hi, how can I help you?" without ever approaching customers. I also noticed similar interactions with other people in the store. The overall atmosphere made it seem like the staff didn't want to be there. This is a customer service job that people apply for, interview for, and ultimately choose to accept. If you don't want to work in customer service, no one is forcing you to stay. I understand every location can have an off day, but the level of customer service at this store was well below expectations. Unfortunately, it was one of the poorest customer service experiences I've had.

Just like a game of spades after a few good hands your destined for something bad. My luck with the apple store is truly not any different at all. About 2 years ago I had a really terrible experience that was ultimately handled positively. From that point I've had consistently positive experiences with apple. Well that was until this month. On October 1, 2022 I came into the apple store looking to get my horribly cracked phone repaired. I came in at approximately 6:25 without an appointment. Lucky for me they were able to get me in for an appointment for 7:35. I was told to come up to the front and remind them so that they don't forget about me. Context my phone was cracked on the front and back so I was pretty confident they would probably have to repair my phone. Update they ran diagnostics and determined my phone would need to be replaced. They gave me a replacement phone. The person I worked with literally just handed me the phone and said I was all set and walked off. I started to try and enter my information and then quickly discovered that the phone was locked. It took was truly felt like forever for them to figure out what the passcode was. I know what you're probably wondering well surely they went ahead and activated the phone for you but of course they didn't. I had to leave and go upstairs to T-Mobile for them to activate my phone. When I got upstairs they weren't able to activate the phone. We contacted several customer service support agents with no luck at all. Only for T-Mobile to tell me that apple gave me a lock device. At this point I needed to go back downstairs to the Apple Store where I would wait even longer only for them to give me a new loaner. At this point the phone was unlocked so that was a plus the negative is that it took them so long I couldn't go to T-Mobile to get it activated. So after several hours later and a couple phones later I left with a device that didn't work for certain but eventually it would. Yay me.
