He had disposed of the the hardware so i had to reorder the side mirrors costing me $170. Two days later the medicine cabinet fell off the wall because the top brackets were not in contact with the cabinet. Today I had some electrical work done in another bathroom and they had to remove the medicine cabinet and the said it was hung upside down and was the bottom bracket wasn't in contact with the cabinet. It was only a matter of time before that one fell. I had some minor damage to my wall when the medicine cabinet fell and HelloTec didn't even address it. The company was very difficult to work with. I had to sent them them photos and emails multiple times to get any help from them.

My apologies in advance to everyone at Lake Norman Electric for delay in posting this review and…read morethat I am just now taking the time to commend them across the board for the fantastic quality service and results we received related to numerous projects on standing up our Lake House Rental. I am sure lots of peeps pitched in the background but major shoutout to Meaghan for steering projects and appointments and Devin for design suggestions and technical follow through. Earlier this year we stood a luxury lake front home where they played a key role on several planned, unplanned and a la carte items. Some well prepared and some emergency. The services ranged from fixing electrical outlets and adding capacity to Installing an outdoor Tesla Charger, ring doorbells, hot tub hookup, sauna hookup and even some awesome party string lights (Devin suggested and designed himself). They provided timely, cost effective, trustworthy service and we will continue to use them for other projects going forward. I was so happy with the overall service I felt compelled to drop off a fruit basket gift thanking them. Again sorry for the delayed review but I hope my happiness and sincerity outshines the delay. Here is a pic of the amazing view complemented by the string lights

So..: I'm going to be blunt and completely honest. I had a problem with clear choice…read moreconstruction. Apparently a prior job refused to pay them and it trickled down to my job. I couldn't contact them and I was for sure I got scammed. I went as far as to go to the police and contact an attorney who told me realities of recouping money. But here's the deal. The policeman went and talked to them and came back to me and told me the truth. They had a job fall through and this cascaded through many people. Is it right I couldn't contact them... NO. But he made me see it another way. They were scared. They didn't have our deposits as most contractors use one jobs money for another and it's a house of cards. That's reality of this business. These people made a mistake, but in his words, they weren't trying to commit a crime. And don't kid yourself... almost any mom and pop business is one job away from this happening. So I had 2 choices. Get mad, sue them, keep the police involved or I could work with them. Option 1 might feel good for a minute but option 2 allows me to get my windows and take a little off their plate. So, he had them call me. And with some brutal honesty on both sides we were able to come to an agreement. They could keep my deposit as labor and I'd purchase the windows myself (through them because I'd pay a fortune and don't have a license with manufacturers). And that's what we did. In the end it cost me almost the exact same as originally quoted. 3 weeks later my windows arrived and they promptly put them in. They look wonderful and they did a magnificent job. I have zero complaints and am happy enough to tell this story and try to help them out. Look, I wanted to believe the worst and almost let my anger take me down the option 1 road. But it wouldn't have benefitted anyone. A little compassion and a bit of honesty allowed both of us to win. I recommend you use them. Their workmanship is top notch and they are just trying to recover from a job gone bad.

Worst experience I could have conceivably had closing on a house as sellers with Knipp Law. We were…read morescheduled to close on the house we were purchasing at the same time and day as the closing of the selling of our home, so we had our own attorneys prepare the paperwork sent to them by Knipp and overnight the paperwork to them after we signed all the documents, along with emailing Knipp a copy of our closing attorneys wire transfer instructions. After signing all the paperwork for the closing of the home we were purchasing, we waited for Knipp to file the sale with the register of deeds so they could wire the proceeds from our sale to our closing attorneys. 2 hours after closing, we received an email from our attorneys stating that Knipp had just sent them a document for us to sign that they had forgotten to include in the original package. We signed electronically and our attorneys sent the document back to Knipp. An hour later, still no word that the wire transfer had gone through. We decided to call Knipp ourselves to see what the filing status was on the sale of our house. The paralegal handling our case told us that it had been filed with the register of deeds and they were awaiting confirmation that the deed had been recorded. Knipp also informed us that they were awaiting the wiring instructions for the proceed of our sale. When I reminded the paralegal that we had sent the wiring instructions several days ago, she told me that wiring instructions sent through email were not accepted, and needed to be sent through a secure messaging platform. Neither my wife and I, nor our attorneys had been informed of this; for some reason Knipp did not seem to think it was important to let us know that a specific method of communicating wiring instructions was necessary after we had sent them those instructions over email. After sending the wiring instructions, we waited for about 15-30 more minutes before my wife thought to call the Register of Deeds to see if Knipp had filed everything correctly, as we didn't have much faith in them at this point. Upon speaking with someone in the Register of Deeds, my wife discovered that not only had the sale not been recorded, it was not even showing up in their system. The sale thankfully popped up as my wife was on the phone with the Register of Deeds. Not sure why Knipp seemingly chose to lie to us about the state of our filing, nor keep us waiting around for THREE HOURS after our closing. Comically poor communication and clear indifference as to whether my wife and I were inconvenienced. Wish I could give 0 stars. Avoid Knipp Law like the plague.
