If anything, the employee might've told me we had service until 8/15, not 8/25, because the cycle is to 8/15. After years of getting charged way too much for mediocre wifi, they can't even see how their "notes" don't make any sense and that the charge on me is invalid. They now put me as the consumer in a terrible spot essentially saying 1. Pay this now, even though it isn't really owed or 2. Don't pay it and take a hit to your credit. Good times. Last person I talked to was Nessa, a supervisor with Charter Spectrum out of the North Texas Call Center. I'd appreciate if this could be handled without hurting the consumer or dragging on, please and thank you. Respectfully, please drop this charge.

Before I was ever able to get a number from the customer service kiosk for a number to be served. I was told that that there would be an hour and a half wait to return equipment and cancel service. If I was getting new service to get a number. The Spectrum gentlemen that talked with me said that i had to take the equipment to the local ups store and they would return it for me and that he would cancel my service once the equipment was scanned, and appeared on his system at the store. This gentlemen never said i had to call and cancel. I did this on July 1st 2026 and needless to say that I received my monthly bill for July. Although it showed that I returned on July 1st. Called customer service. It took 30 mins to get the an answer and that i should have called earlier.It is unbelievable that they tried to get me to stay for less than half of my current billing amount. I have been a customer for 17 years and every time i get a tele marketer call from spectrum they say i do not qualify because I am a current customer. They constantly go up a few dollars every six month. The internet service never was as strong as i was supposedly was paying for. Over the last 6 months the internet service struggle to keep the TV going. After being point blank lied to at the Spectrum store and the procedure to return so difficult that i could never recommend Spectrum to anyone. Now they want me to pay a whole month for service that i do not have the equipment to use because they have it. My advise research every alternative and never use spectrum. They could care less about the customer. Spectrum is like so many large companies these days It is about the profit and not the customer. It just stinks to be lied to over the whole process. The place is an absolute disaster inside, but not having frequented many tv repair shops, I wasn't sure if this was the norm or not. They don't take debit or credit cards and he charges $50.00 to diagnose the problem, so we had to go back out and get cash. We left the TV with him and he said he would call to let us know what the issue was. When we didn't hear back after about a week or so, my boyfriend called him. He gave us the specific serial number and part number we needed to order. He originally told me that he could order it, but it would be less expensive if we ordered it online. We did that and had it sent directly to the shop. Another couple of weeks went by and we heard nothing, even though we knew the part had been delivered a week previous, so my boyfriend called him back again. He said the part we ordered didn't work in the TV and that it can be tricky even though the part number and serial numbers match up. My boyfriend asked him if he could just order the part, and then bill us for it. He said that they don't do that. So my boyfriend let him know we would be up on Saturday to pick up the TV. They are only open from 10-2, so we got there at 12. The OPEN sign outside was on, but the door was locked. There were two other customers in the parking lot (one there to pick up his TV that also wasn't fixed). My boyfriend called the number on the sign and the same guy we had been dealing with picked up and said he was at lunch and to wait for him to get back in 30 minutes or so. Understandably we were irritated seeing that they are only open for 4 hours on Saturday, and like most working people, we had a lot to get done that day. He asked us to let everyone in the parking lot know that he was at lunch and would be back in thirty minutes or so to which my boyfriend refused. We left and came back 45 minutes later, my boyfriend walks in and the guy says the TV is still not put back together, that it will be 30 minutes and he will leave it on the porch. My boyfriend (who is typically a very good natured and calm person) was upset and had words with the guy. The guy told him we were lucky they are open on Saturday at all and that it was his fault that we ordered the wrong part. These people are supposed to be in the business of repairing TV's. If it were easy, we wouldn't have felt the need to take it to a "professional". If it is tricky to find the right part online, he should have helped us, sent us a link or something. We came back, started loading the TV in the truck and the guy was outside the shop watching us and furiously typing or texting on his flip phone and taking pictures of us, as if we were doing something criminal. It was very strange and would rate as one of the very worst customer service/business experiences I have ever had. We did receive a recommendation after we had dropped this one off for a more local repair place. My boyfriend dropped the TV off yesterday, so we shall see ...

Customer counter will not reveal their names, contact information, confirmation receipts, just give a promise that the service will work. When it fails it fails, you wait.
