I posted a very negative review on September 29th stating that I have been unable to reach anyone at Hello Tech via phone, chat, or text. Today I got an email from them asking "How did Laiza do?" Who is Laiza? I was never contacted by Laiza or anyone else to repair my computer. Now I'm getting an email asking "How did Laiza do?" I replied letting them know I was never contacted by anyone. They suck. And, at this point, it seems like a made a donation and would like my money returned. read more

I had 4 medicine cabinet installed and the tech told me that the side mirrors were extra shelves and to toss them. He had disposed of the the hardware so i had to reorder the side mirrors costing me $170. Two days later the medicine cabinet fell off the wall because the top brackets were not in contact with the cabinet. Today I had some electrical work done in another bathroom and they had to remove the medicine cabinet and the said it was hung upside down and was the bottom bracket wasn't in contact with the cabinet. It was only a matter of time before that one fell. I had some minor damage to my wall when the medicine cabinet fell and HelloTec didn't even address it. The company was very difficult to work with. I had to sent them them photos and emails multiple times to get any help from them. read more

Firstly; the tech was great! I had no issues with Greg! My issue is with the estimate vs actual cost. The service was more than double than what I was quoted! Apparently I was given an inaccurate estimate, even though I repeated my request several times and asked the representative to repeat back to me. read more

AWFUL JOB. See the photos. I had John out today to install a single Nest IQ Outdoor camera. It was, by far, the worst experience I've had in the last 10 years with anybody in support or maintenance. Where do I start? - he arrived 25 minutes late - it took him OVER 4 hours to "complete" the job - he had to borrow my equipment as the folding chair he brought for his step stool broke - was not able to mount the camera with the viewing angle i asked for - damaged the power cable by trying to remove it without pushing the release slide - damaged my interior wall - damaged the sliding door frame with careless drilling in 6 (SIX) locations - "concealed" the wire on the wrong part of the wall - damaged my exterior wall - left a mess after finishing the job I still can't believe this happened or understand how this guy is employed as a Nest Pro. I had no idea what to expect. WILLIAM arrived in time, and was very nice, and knew exactly what he was supposed to do. He went right to work mounting the TVs. He didn't have any problems! He had a stud finder and did not have any trouble put the mount on the wall. He had me sit and tell him what height to mount TV. He had definitely done this many times in the past. He set the TV up so I could watch immediately. I will use this company again. read more

I called and simply asked if this company repaired televisions. The answer I got was completely indecipherable. Clearly the person answering the phone was not very familiar with English. I asked where she was from so that I could begin to understand her accent she said she was based in California but when I pressed she indicated she was "overseas." I could not understand anything she said and asked her to repeat things multiple times. I finally asked to be transferred to someone local and she refused. Huge communication problems. read more

I would give it minus stars if I could. If you need a TV mount or some kind of Tech support DO NOT USE HelloTech. I made an appointment for 4 pm on the 14th, he texts me saying he will be late. By 8pm I told him he couldn't come, it was too late. We rescheduled for the next day at the same time, he arrives 3 hrs late. Then it seems I have the wrong mount. What he informed me about why it wouldn't work made sense. He shows me what to order & I do it right after he leaves. I texted him to reschedule & hear nothing back for 36 hrs. I call HelloTech to schedule someone else to come. We make an appointment for today at 4pm, I finally call at 6 to see where he is, I'm informed nobody is coming because my TV can not to hung. I received not a text, phone or e mail informing me of this. When the 1st tech did text me back after the 36 hrs, he told me the mount was perfect. That is when I informed him I got another tech. I'd had touch-& go fair experience w then in the past, but here I sit, waiting for the tech who's 3 hrs late [so far]. I had other appointments for this time which I rescheduled for the Hello Tech guy to come. This is not a small job - even if he comes he won't be able to finish in the time allotted. Not a happy camper. - I suppose they're good but you take your chances if you get a responsible man or not. I guess a good thing is that they're easier to get a timely appointment w than Best Buy - but Best Buy is more dependable. read more

Cheaper than Best Buy, super quick turn around and great result! My tech James was awesome. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was determined to make sure I was completely happy with the end result of the mounting. I would have James back to do all my TV mounting work. read more

Greg did an excellent job with the Ring and Doorbell transformer Installation. He was knowledgeable, friendly and easy-to-go kind of a guy. Greg arrived on time, installed the transformer, power-kit and the doorbell, tested it to make sure everything is working correctly. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

Greg was our tech an he did an outstanding job installing our ring doorbell. He made sure that everything was working properly and that we understood how everything worked. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We are very pleased with the install and the way Greg handled it. GREAT JOB GREG!!! The only thing we didn't like was the company states that your credit card won't be charged until the job is complete. This wasn't true, our card was charged the day before the service date. Which I felt was wrong and very misleading. I called and the answer that they provided was so untrue. read more

Very disappointed. Repair Tech was not prepared. Did not have the proper parts, my husband had to do half the work and the repair failed just shy over their 30 day 'guarantee' and wanted to charge me again. They did not do it right the first time. It was just remounting a TV and it took him hours longer than it should have. Again my husband had to help him and provide him the parts. read more

My computer issue was somewhat challenging, but my tech worked his way the problem like a doctor diagnosing a patient. In addition, he was very responsive to all my questions. After having been frustrated by Wi-Fi connectivity issues, I arranged a Hello Tech service online. I immediately got an email and text informing me that my request had been received and I would be informed when a technician would be available. I had to enter preferred times. They texted me back the next morning and told me that my first option was available. Worked from home that day and the technician, James M. texted me to let me know he was on the way. He came in and patiently worked through my issue, until he felt that it was resolved. However, the cool thing was that he said he would hang out in my driveway for 10 minutes in case anything went wrong immediately after he left. He did and I had an issue (that was actually my fault), but after leaving, he came back within 5 minutes and resolved the problem. I have had no further issues since then. Wi-Fi is working great! read more
