I'm still under my warranty but they get outta of it by telling me that my screen is damaged...and the warranty doesn't cover for damage. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I've never written a review before, but this needed to be done. 3 other people in my office have used them and I found they had nothing but awful things to say. These guys "diagnosed" the problem on my laptop, ordered the parts, changed the price TWICE, and they still couldn't fix it. They claimed it was a rare part and I had to pay extra to get it from a warehouse somewhere. After they couldn't get my 2-year-old laptop to work, they then sold me a POS Lenovo under a one year warranty. When the speakers stopped working, I took it in... UNDER WARRANTY and they tried to charge me $45 because of a "driver issue." I said no, went to work, and after spending literally 2 minutes on it, a co-worker found a setting and fixed it. Brought my MacBook Pro shortly after coffee spilled and was told that it would be opened immediately and they would do a diagnostic test later in the day. It took them all day just to open the computer so it would dry out. I specifically asked if they could open computer immediately, and the answer was "Yes". If they would have told me they are too busy to do so, I would have gladly taking my computer closer to where I live. Obviously, acidity of the coffee was doing more damage as it was sitting inside of the computer. Anyhow, coming back to pick up my computer a couple day later, I see coffee stains all over the screen and keyboard and Alex (manager) told me that they did not clean it, because it can remove the paint. Really, what paint ?!? Technician took computer back to clean it up. The next day after working on the computer I found out that key board is not working well and computer was missing one internal screw and a few external screws. Called place back and was told that they will mail me all the missing screws. Well it is has been 5 weeks and I have yet to receive them. Not sure what to do next and for all that I was charged over $500. read more

This place gets my second 1-star review ever. And the only other one was a place that gave me food poisoning and nearly sent me to the ER. I gave them my hard drive because it was having problems and they were offering a free diagnostic. I was told to leave my cables with them and they would call me within 24 hours with a quote. After waiting 48 hours, I called them and left a message. The next day, now nearly 72 hours after drop off I was told there a was a pin that was not working and given a quote that seemed pretty high (later confirmed by calling around). I asked to pick up my equipment and was told I could. I drove to the their store only to learn my hard drive was not there but was off site somewhere. Wasted trip number one. Alex offered to bring it directly to me and set up a time to do so, which was an incredibly nice thing to do. However, he was well over an hour late and by the time he did show up I was on my way out (I was now late for where I needed to be). However he forgot my cables to make the hard drive work. He promised to be back in 15 minutes with the cables and would leave them in my screen door. He never came back. This began a cycle of three weeks of calling and asking when I could pick up my cables, being told Alex would drop them off at the store for pick up in an hour, by 5 PM, by 1 PM, etc. I must have been told over half a dozen times when Alex would drop off the cables but he didn't. I dropped by the store for at least 2-3 more wasted trips. Finally I was told Alex had dropped them off at the store. I called the next day to confirm they were there and then drove down after their lunch break. BUT the cables were not there. According to the employee, Alex had grabbed the wrong bag and it had my cable is there. Yet another wasted trip. This time I was livid because I had specifically called to confirm. After nearly a month I was able to get my cables back but it was a lot more frustrating than such a simple exchange should ever have been and I was flat out lied to multiple times about the timing of everything which resulted in a lot of wasted trips and time. Price alone gave me second thoughts about this place. Some of the crappiest customer service I've ever gotten deserves the lowest rating possible. read more

Gave me an obvious runaround as to what was wrong. They fixed it but took a long time and upped the price substantially from the original estimate. read more

Initially, I took it to 2 places to get checked out , my first reaction to the estimates was " too high " since I was told a lot of components had to be replaced. At this point, I only wanted to get my data back. 1 place told me I have to pay over 1k to get my data back because it was affected by the coffee as well . This is when I found Vellve Systems, after doing a lot researching for companies that do this type of work . Vellve confirmed that several components had to be replaced if I wanted it fixed. However, they didn't charge me a diagnostic fee at all to take it apart ( I wish I had found this place sooner, since I had to pay $100 just in diagnosis fees to the other places ) . I asked Alex, the manager , to check my data because that was the most important thing to me, he checked it and advised me my hard drive was fine because he just plugged it in to his machine and it popped right up. He recovered over 1800 pictures I had while I waited in the lobby ( let me remind you 2 other shops told me i had to pay over 1k for data recovery) . I was so happy and truly thankful for all the explanations Alex went over with me about my data , I was paranoid so I had a lot of questions in mind, he probbaly spent over 45 mins with me and my bill was only $100!!!!!! Not 1k!!! . I truly advice anyone to use their services. Alex was great! Came out to our house, took a look at our setup and made recommendations to install a new wifi network. I can figure most things out with time, but we have an old house with plaster walls and a new part with steel beams and no matter what I tried, I could not get a good signal all over. Alex suggested two new routers, had his install guy check the wiring (had a bad jack) and now it works beautifully. Money well spent and zero aggravation for me! Alex also reinstalled my windows 7 software on a desktop after the forced windows 10 upgrade crashed my computer. Another computer repair company put some bootleg copy on my PC about a year ago when they fixed the crashed drive. I kept getting "your copy of windows is not genuine" - super aggravating after paying $250 to have it fixed. Now it works like it's supposed to!! I had spilled some water on my MacBook and needed it fixed ASAP. I found this place on google and decided to give it a try. Before I go any further I will say that the man I spoke with was very nice, however, did not have a clue what he was talking about. He told me my laptop was showing signs of hard drive failure, needed a keyboard replacement, and also that the battery & motherboard were damaged. He told me that to start, it would be $300+ for the keyboard replacement that would take several days to come in and that after it comes in I may need to replace the other things as well and he also said "may need another MacBook".....hmm. So, I ended up taking my laptop to Experimac in Ballantyne. They were AMAZING, said that my laptop ONLY needed a keyboard replacement which was $200. They had my laptop ready in less than 24 hours. So my advice if you are having any computer problems would be to skip this place and go to Experimac, or literally anywhere else for that matter. read more

I'm writing this review from my perfectly working laptop that was fixed by....HP, after this place destroyed it. First of all, this place BUYS their five star reviews. The number of reviews fluctuates drastically from day to day (how do you have less reviews one day than you did the day before?) and I have noticed that a recently written review will sometimes be gone the next day. It's because Google is going in and deleting the fake reviews. Now to my computer. This place was an absolute nightmare. I brought my computer in on a Tuesday for a hairline crack in the screen that was affecting the touchscreen capability. I needed a new digitizer. Alex told me it would likely take 1-3 days for the part to come in but that he would call me within the hour (after he ordered the part) to confirm this because sometimes it is backordered. No one called me so I called a few hours later and left a message. No one called me back so I called again a few hours after that and he said he had called the wrong number. I chalked it up to an honest mistake. He said the part was coming from California so it would get here likely either Saturday or Monday. Those days come and go and I don't hear from them. I called them on Monday and left a message and got no response. I called multiple times on Tuesday and they never answered the phone or returned my messages. Finally, at the end of the day, I called many times and finally got through. I was told that Alex had tried to call me and the call didn't go through (which I don't believe for a second at this point). This was around 6pm and they said the mail hadn't come yet so the part hadn't arrived yet (it's 6pm and the mail hasn't come yet?). They never contacted me on Wednesday, so I called them in the evening. They said they hadn't received the part yet but again said they tried to call me and it didn't work (why even bother lying to me?). At this point, I decided I didn't trust them to fix my computer with the run around they were giving me (I was also thinking they probably ordered a used part from China or eBay and that was why they didn't know when the part was coming. They also told me they would "message" the post office and try to get them to deliver it earlier...yeah right. You're going to get the United States Postal Service to come early?). On Thursday morning, I go into the shop to take my computer back with plans to take it elsewhere and they tell me they need an hour to put it back together. WHAT?! You mean to tell me that my computer has been laying open and in pieces for two weeks, exposed to dirt and dust getting into the inside? That's how they decided to store it? I'm furious at this point and I tell them I will be back promptly in an hour. They called me a while later and told me the digitizer arrived and they wanted to put it in. WAY against my better judgement, I agreed to let them install it as I just wanted my computer back. They called me a while later and told me that it actually wasn't the right part. I told them forget it, to put my computer back to the way it was when I dropped it off TWO WEEKS prior and that I would come pick it up. They told me that they couldn't do that because the old digitizer had to be "broken" out. I understand this but you mean to tell me that you didn't realize that you had ordered the wrong part until AFTER you break my computer?!?! I come pick it up and it looks like someone took a sledgehammer to it...the screen is completely smashed, big pieces of it are missing, and it won't even turn on. I immediately called HP and arranged for the professionals to fix it at their headquarters...who by the way told me there was no reason whatsoever for my screen to be in the condition that it was...that yes, a digitizer needs to be "broken" out of the computer to remove it but there was no reason for my screen to look like it had been part of a crime scene. I'm reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau. These people are SNAKES! AVOID!!!!! read more

Our company had 3 laptops that would not get to the desktop screen. This company offered free diagnostics for them to come to our location which I thought it was super convenient, I had called 2 other places and they wanted at least 100 to come out for a diagnosis, we didn't really want to let the laptops leave our facility due to network security issues. Vellve Systems came out and performed a brief diagnosis, they offered to take the laptops back to their shop but like I said , we couldn't do that for security reasons . The next day they came back with all parts needed and fixed them on the spot, they hooked them all up to these network again.
