Alex responded to my request on a Thursday evening, which I really appreciated. I received one other quote, but this shop was closer and significantly more affordable at $350 instead of $600. The next day, I spoke with Ahmad and paid in advance so they could order the replacement part. They informed me that it would arrive sometime between Monday and Wednesday. Later, they even called me back to confirm that I wanted a Grade A screen, explaining that while it wasn't completely brand new, it was still covered by a one-year warranty. If I preferred a brand-new screen, it would cost an additional $50. I asked Ahmad for his honest opinion on which option was best for me, and he recommended the Grade A screen over the new one. I trusted his advice and went with that option. I dropped off my Mac on Wednesday at 9 AM, and by 11:30 AM, I received a call saying it was ready for pickup. Ahmad made the entire process as smooth and painless as possible, and I can't express how much I appreciated that. I highly recommend this place!

The son of the owner claimed to have turned my computer on and was able to get on Youtube. This was obviously not true as my computer still can't turn on. And after they claimed it was able to be turned on and nothing was wrong with it, I asked for them to prove it and show me. The employees have a policy that they aren't allowed to show you or take you in the back to make sure your PC works before leaving. They legit do not let you see if what they claim is true or not before shooing you away.

Didn't feel judged, and they were honest with me about the situation (small scratch on camera itself, cost, recommendation, etc). The primary drawback to this place was parking. I got lucky with a spot, but it's south end, so you take your chances. I went to another spot first, which ended up needing phone insurance to be worthwhile, which I didn't have. This spot was about 1/3 the price that I was quoted. The fix was something I didn't want to delay and while I hope not to need them again, I'd absolutely come back if in a pickle and recommend to others.

Though I thought it might be time to buy a new computer altogether, decided to put it off for another year or so (since Apple store hours and services were limited at this time). Instead, I just bought a new compatible battery (thru Amazon) that could be replaced by Apple, or an Apple-authorized repair shop. After googling some reviews online, decided to call this repair shop. I was able to speak with Nick right away, and he made the whole process seem so easy and hassle-free...and said that they can usually do it within the same day. He also gave me a quote for the repairs. Not only friendly, but very helpful! Although I happened to visit the shop on a busy Wednesday afternoon, Nick managed to get my laptop battery replaced and the fan blower (?) cleaned within a few hours. He was even willing to work past their store hours to get it completed if necessary! Whew...I was SO relieved to hear that, as I would have hated to leave my personal laptop with them overnight. Not only was this process hassle-free and expedient, it costed under 100 bucks!! By now, I've tested my new battery strength, and it has improved tremendously. Also, the fan blower isn't as loud (almost scary). So overall, am very satisfied with the service and repairs...and I would highly recommend this place for anyone with any PC issues!

It is certainly impressive being greeted by Spider-man battling Doc Octopus overhead. Tons and tons of comics, magazines, books, games, etc. So much to see hard to take it all in. The only thing I missed were the displays of beloved titles from the 1940s to 1960s. So I was told of a huge comic show in Boston and large stocks were sent up there. A very impressive store. Everyone was very helpful and answered questions that I had. I even brought a small box of my personal comics for them to look over. They liked the books and the condition and we agreed on a price for them. Very nice people and very pleasant atmosphere.
