I was tricked into getting Spectrum in February of 2024. I had Spectrum years ago and did not have a problem other than continued rate increases. However, when I went back to Spectrum it was a disaster. The Internet went down 1 to 5 times a day non-stop. They said they would come out, but they would charge for the service call. First visit at the Corona store and was shocked upon entering to see so many customers waiting to be seen. Since the closure of the store in Mira Loma, this has caused unnecessary and undue stress for many customers and I am sure some employees. Having multiple locations was an ideal option and made it easier for the customers. As usual, corporate profit always seems to override logical thinking and the customers are the employees are left to pay the price. As of this writing, there are approximately 13 people waiting to be called with three customer at the counter. I am highly disappointed in the overall mobile service with Spectrum. I walked into the store at 10 am ; registered my name for service. Somehow my name didn't show up on the list. They took everyone who came in behind me. I told the counter techs and they didn't get to me until the store manager came in after 10:30. He says his computer is running slow. I came in this afternoon to find out why sometimes my phone could not makes phone calls. The customer service member asked me to hand him my phone for him to do trouble shooting. Nothing was identified. I suggest SIM card replacement. The service member did. Everything goes normal, except that while he was doing trouble shooting, replacing SIM card, entering serial number, and running test calls etc., he was picking his nose/nostril on and off. It is his same index finger that goes on punching numbers on my phone screen. We are in pandemic times! I was a bit shocked. What was he trying to leave on my phone screen? virus or mucus, or both. I returned the next week to cancel my land line and spoke with Christine. I told her I couldn't afford to keep it. She looked at my plan and said she could update my plan and lower my monthly cost. I moved into a brand new housing development in Corona and opted to go with Spectrum instead of ATT. Initially I ordered internet and DirecTV streaming from ATT but the technician never came or called me on the appointed day. The next day I had to call them to find out what happened.They said there was an issue on their end and would take 48 hrs to resolve. I called them again after another 48 hrs and again, not a peep from ATT. I called the 3rd time and guess what, they said it would take another 48 hrs. I was tired of the lies and lousy customer service and decided to give Spectrum a call. The customer service rep was very courteous and professional and booked me an appointment to have the technician come to my home the very same day, except that I had to go to the Corona store to pick up the cable box. At the store, Christina cheerfully greeted me when I walked in, gave me my box, and I was out the door in 5 minutes. On my drive home, I got a call from the technician and he said he would be at my home earlier than expected and would arrive in 10 minutes. My entire experience with Spectrum was super, which is contrary to some of the negative reviews here. I say give them a try but it helps to be kind and courteous when talking to people. read more

For those who have Spectrum -- Please keep an eye on your bill. They attempt to charge you for things you're not aware of. They tell you that the credit you receive is for something else instead of what you actually received the credit for. I had to correct this person to make sure they understood what the credit was for and had nothing to do with something else. For new installs--make sure they are not charging you for dates you never had service with them. I got into a heated argument with a "manager" because of this. FYI...they don't train their technicians that come out to service their products on the actual products they use, such as Apple TV's. The technician came out and installed on Aug 30 and I have called atleast once per week to this day because we can't receive proper cable service. The technician replaced our modem with a supposed "new" modem and still we have the same problem. The problem has been sent to a "higher up" dept and now I have to wait to get a phone call from them to let me know what the problem is and if and when they plan to fix it. We have numerous complaints on file with them for the same thing...lack of proper cable service Basically, SPECTRUM SUCKS!! read more

I pay damn near $400 a month for all these services, and I was told by representatives, that because my son decided to go with a different Wirelrss carrier, I have to pay for a service he doesn't have and that those days are not prorated, because Spectrum wants to charge me for something I don't have trust and believe I will DISCONTINUE ALL SERVICES. and you will lose a great paying customer you had for 10 plus years. Spectrum is by far the worst ISP out there. I have experienced more outages in the first year with spectrum than my entire 15 years with AT&T. As well as they lie to their customers about down times . They'll send me a text that's says it should be fixed by seven and a few hours after seven they send one saying it'll be 11:00. By the time 11:00 hits still no internet I go to bed and wake up next day still no internet and no message. So I call and they act like they never knew it was out. How can that be when you sent a text promising it would be fixed almost a day ago. My advice is to stay away from spectrum like it's the plague. It was the most horrible brutal experience to cancel with spectrum. I initially called the hotline, cause their online site and live chat said they can't assist with cancellation and recommended to call the hotline. I was transferred to multiple representatives and put on hold. This call literally took 2 1/2 hours only to get disconnected and a waste of my time. Finally, I just decided to go to the local Spectrum Center where I was assisted by the rudest ill-mannered representative named Sergio.
