Spectrum is monopoly that steals money from its customers. We recently moved out of our house and had service disconnected. The tenets that moved in started service the same day. Having now received the bill, Spectrum is telling me this is a "subscription service," and while I disconnected only 10 days into the billing cycle, I'm required to pay the entire total. But...the tenets that moved in also are paying for service. That means Spectrum got paid for service at one address twice for the better part of the month. If I could rate the customer service I got from the supervisor "Jennifer" anything lower than 1-star, I would. She was short with us, and quite terrible overall. read more

I would love to start a class action lawsuit against Spectrum for discrimination. I listen to television due to my poor eyesight. This company turns my station off because I am not watching the screen. This is discrimination. I have asked Spectrum's customer service to rectify this issue and they say they cannot. read more

Spectrum's services are really pretty good, 'EXTREMELY' expensive, but they are rarely not available. But this is funny. I hear this commercial and scratch my head. Regarding political policy analysis -- "We bring together your "Local Political Journalis?" from across the country?" Say what, you actually hired opinionated political talking heads, that do not reside in North Carolina, to educate persons that live in N.C. about politics and how it will affect them. How could they possibly know how it will affect persons in N.C.???? Are there no worthy local news reporters or political analysts living in N.C. that can fulfill this job? Just wondering. read more

We visited today right when they opened at 10am. They were busy, right away, lots of guests in the door to pay their bill. We were greeted right away and Justin took us to a counter to discuss moving our service from Verizon to Spectrum. The customer service was over the top! I watched each interaction they had with the patrons and everyone was checked in electronically and called their name when they were ready. The prices were great and their selection of phones and accessories was abundant. We ordered a phone and we'll be back to pick it up on Tuesday. I'm expecting the service to be just as great it was today. I highly recommend stopping in here to explore your mobile network and device options! read more

Ridiculously long lines and employees standing around doing nothing. Avoid at all opportunities.

I was talked into switching to Spectrum cable, internet, and mobile about 5 months ago. To say they leave out a lot of needed information at that time would be an absolute understatement. I still had a contract with my former satellite company. Spectrum promised to buy that contract out. There's no other way I could have afforded to do it. In hindsight (of course always better) I realize I should have been more diligent. Until I got the notice that my contract was not paid. When I called spectrum I was then told (2 months later) that I had to get a 'contract buyout form' from Spectrum and quite a few steps after that together to get it done. I'm at the stage now where after many many phone calls to spectrum I now have all that I need to send the buyout form in. Spectrum puts up many difficulties to slow all this down so now my 'past due' bill they were supposed to pay is in collections. Now spectrum tells me that my 60 days to do this is past. Their internet is spotty and the mobile is terrible. DO NOT GET SPECTRUM FOR ANYTHING!!! read more

Do yourself a favor and steer clear. my internet is completely out and has been no urgency for spectrum for almost a week. they told me to read my contract when I asked them to come take care of the issue sooner than almost an entire week. i have had issues with this company and their customer service for years no and I will be switching my internet and phone over to another company who sadly will come install a new system before spectrum is willing to fix mine. they have lost me for life and I was a bundle customer. if your payment is late they threaten like the mob but when they are in the wrong they can careles. happy to finally have another choice in my area and sadly I'm willing to pay slightly more but get more for my buck and never deal with their horrible customer service again. read more

Spectrum is the worst TV service I have ever had. Spectrum will stop airing what is on the screen and will post "are you still watching?" This occurs several times a day. The TV will cut off frequently before I have the opertunity to select "yes" on the screen. I most frequently occurs when I look down at the project I am working on. I then have to get up out of my chair an turn the TV back on. The fact that I only have 70% vision in only one eye and blind out of the other does not help! Other cable networks I have used it the past did not do this to customers! read more

Got new phones there and went with their $14 a month plan which is currently the cheapest anywhere. Justin was very patient with us and did a good job of explaining everything and setting up our new phones. Super nice guy. Also helped us with our internet issues with our router. Long story short, with working from home we needed to upgrade our router beyond what spectrum supplied. Both the exchanges we did, phone and router, was super easy. And the new phone service with them is on par with the Verizon we've had for 20 years. Glad we changed. read more

Today my wife and I visited your clayton nc store. We did not know how to do what we wanted. Julious helped us out and stayed with us until we had completed what we needed. I had already talked to 3 different people on the phone trying to receive assistance and the last person I talked to told me to go to a store and they will be able to assist me. Well that was absolutely false. I go in and a very rude woman with red hair is the one I talk to. She was rude to the point that I started crying in the store. Then she walked away saying we'll see what we can do and then sent someone else over to me, probably because she felt bad for making me cry, I guess at least because she was not very kind. Then the man hands me a phone number saying they're a special customer service line that will help. And turns out it is the regular service line that you can get online. Don't come here just go to a different spectrum store I went in and told them I only want the 400 mega internet no tv nothing else after the internet barely worked I went in and was told I only had the 200 Mega but after my bill more than doubled I had to go in again for the 5th between getting faulty equipment and the wrong plan I was told they added a TV package which is why it was so much more just go to a different spectrum or different provider all together read more

Kaylee was absolutely the best and so helpful when it came to picking out new phones for my parents and I. She was so patient with us even with our phones taking forever to do anything. If you want to be put first in customer service I recommend asking for Kaylee, she helped abs way beyond patient with my parents who aren't the best when it comes to technology. read more
