    I have been a loyal customer of DirectTV for over 20 years...... 20 years! Every few months we lose…read morestations, a few months ago it was NBC, now it's CBS, during football season! I know loyalty means nothing, but for over 20 years I have passed on cable, streaming, etc. and stayed loyal to DirectTV, but now, not going to take it anymore! I have so many other options, I am quite sure they need me more than I need them! Please, please please, take my advice and DO NOT ENGAGE WITH DirectTV!!! Learn from my experience and look elsewhere! You have so many other options, go the other routes. I am not some quack, I have enjoyed my time with DirectTV for over 20 years, but loyalty not reciprocated is insanity!!! I promise you will thank me, AVOID DirectTV, you will be thrilled you did!!!!!! ZERO STARS!

We loose service all the time during the summer and they never offer any compensation for the time the service doesn't work. Also, after your first 12 months they up your bill by 50%. Now, I went to cancel my service after my contract expired, and they still charge me an ETF fee. The only response I get is "That's the policy." Your overpriced services and terrible customer service is why you and all other cable companies will be gone soon. You don't value your customers and now it's too late to change. Good Riddance

    The biggest problem with this ISP provider is that they have cornered the market for this area and…read morehave created a little monopoly for themselves. There is simply no other company you can get cable/internet from, at least not in the area we live in :/ I was warned there's no AT&T, no Time-Warner Cable, no Google, nothing but Brighthouse at our new digs. But I never knew this company would be such a hassle to deal with. Sales people are fake a f and annoying to boot. They are true salesmen of the worst kind. Very nice to your face, but slowly turning the knife in your back all the while they're selling their services. They're not cheap, either. We've had them out twice so far and the techs are simply put -inept because they CAN be. If you ask them any questions, they won't answer you...at all. They'll pretend they didn't hear you. Then they'll bring along someone they're training and show them where the box is located (basically), and nothing else. Then the tech will TRY to get your cable up and running but they won't understand why it won't get up and running! Lol! It's kind of comical really to watch a couple of back woods boys attempt to do their job, fail, and leave you to figure it out for yourself. Only you can't figure it out yourself because they didn't hook it up right. *sigh I never thought anyone could provide such poor service, but they do. The real problem is that they have a monopoly on this area, they know it, they know you don't have a choice, and they simply don't care. No contract with Brighthouse means I can cancel anytime. You can bet your booty I'm going to be looking into other options.

But while I was in the…read moreshower I was called by the St Pete branch and was told my appt. was canceled becaused I did not answer the phone! Apparently a verbal contract isn't honored by Brighthouse. When I called them back they assured they would be over ASAP but what they did was scheduled me until 6pm. I waited until 5pm and canceled out, I had other commitments. Tomorrow is Monday and I will find another cable provider. If youl like being lied to Brighthouse is for you
