Service is the most unreliable service out there. No customer service and serially lacking competent staff.

A one is actually a little high. This is the most dishonest. thieving company I may have ever dealt with. 3 months ago I called to ask why my bill went from $25/month to $55/month. The rep explained that I had been on an introductory plan, And that accident was lucky that it was only $55, because it should be $85/month. She was gonna give me a special offer and give me a $30 discount for the next year, but I would get unlimited data if I enrolled in Autopay. The Next month I was charged twice $85 AND $55. The current month i've been charged $155. Yesterday they bounced me around between 6 different agents. Three of them I could not understand because their accent was so thick. The last rep kept telling me they're very best. They could offer is $85/month. Liers and thieves. I can't change companies quick enough. Don't like Frontier, but even they aren't this dirty. read more

DO NOT USE XFINITY we have been cancelled for three months and they still continue to charge us for a service we dont have and we have asked them to take our credit card off file because apparently they are the only ones that can.and then to find out we are getting charged for a cell phone line that was never ported and we had to get a new number and they continued to charged us for a line we never used or asked for. Do not ever sign up for Xfinity. I have had their Internet service for 6 months. There have been interruptions of service on three separate occasions--6 days, 6 days, and 1 day totaling 13 days. When I called, I was told that I would be credited the 13 days. Each called lasted more than 1 hour. The agents take so long to respond that by the time you go back to the website, you see: SESSION HAS ENDED. Then you get to log in again, and start all over. The agents do not understand English. They provide irrelevant answers to your questions. Every agent told me that they credit had been applied to my account. However, the credit was never applied. When I asked for a list of the dates and duration of outages, agent Christine answered an unrelated question and hung up. Then I get to call back. When I described Christine's behavior, she explained that it was a "connectivity" problem. Here's how the agents' commandment: Don't know how to answer a question, hang up the phone and claim that it was a "connectivity" problem. When you ask for a supervisor, there is no supervisor that you can speak with. Furthermore, there is no CONTACT US for you to use. I've already bought their $130 modem. I'm stuck. If I had known that this is what I had to go through to get a day's credit for each day of no service, I would never have signed up for Xfinity. If you want to spend 20 hours trying to get credit for 13 days of no service, then sign up for Xfinity today. Let's solve the problem at the core: Give consumers get automatic credit for service interruptions! If you don't provide Internet service, don't expect to be paid! But that would be too honest. You are forced to sign a contract, and no matter how bad the service is or how unreliable the internet is, you are committed, but they are not obligated to you. And even if you move you have to pay a termination fee, in this case $100 to end the poor service. This is a two thumbs down. read more

Worst internet company EVER! Oh dear God, their automated answering service is THE most annoying ever. I just wanted to start new service. It wasn't an option, REALLY? She kept hangin up on me cuz I didn't have an account nbr to give her. Ok, then once I FINALLY got a real human, he just laughed when I told him how bad the automated system was. Finally got internet service set up. He had to CALL ME BACK AN HOUR and 20 minutes later to give me an appointment for installing the VOIP phone line. Really? Wth took so long? I thought he was going to call right back, so I didn't want to make any of the other calls I needed to make. Once he finally called back, he wanted me to pay an additional $100 to put in the phone line. There was no outlet in the room! We HAD to have an installer. I'd already agreed to pay $50 upfront on the internet. So that would make $150 for NOTHING! So after spending hours on the phone with this asinine company, I pulled the plug on ANY pf their services. Today I canceled your service after 3 years. The past two months we had outrageous overages because "we went over our internet usage limit." Not ONCE in 3 years have I ever called to complain. We actually have had the same modem for 3 years, I've never even called to ask for a new updated one. My son uses a communication device to speak. He is non verbal, this is HIS VOICE. His learning, voice, everything is based off the WiFi. I called today to ask if there is anyway we can drop even a penny of our overage charges.... Your representative, Joy, who says her ID is E;3, had the audacity to tell me that using the communication device for HIS voice is not your concern or obligation. This is disgusting. I am literally sick to my stomach. She has no respect for the special needs community and should not have a job working with the public. She would not budge other than to tell me the charges are authentic/authorized. When I told her I would like to cancel my service she immediately put me on hold and let me know it was canceled. AFTER I asked her to repeat herself on what she said and if she really just said to me that it's not a concern of Xfinity nor an obligation to xfinity she actually disconnected the call and hung up on me! Apparently, your company is that money hungry for two months of overages that you can not drop a penny. You have no humility or humanity for families trying to raise special needs children and who rely on the Internet or communication devices for THEIR VOICE! I will be filing a complaint with the FCC. As i have no choice i use xfinity, the customer service is unbelievable for such a large company. I did the surveys and explained why they get 0 stars and after 2 years i got a random call from xfinity then a email saying we tried to reach you, i responded to the email with open availability, but no one ever followed up or responded. I finally found a gap i go to the Leesburg office when i have issues, the phone customer service is for lack of a better word...atrocious! They will answer calls about new service but exisiting folks you have a choice 60 min. Hold time or do it online (which you cant). If you ask for a supervisor they pretend to transfer you but then hang up or put you back in the main que- see above. If you order new items they may or may not get it to you but you WILL be billed for it. When you dont get it and call to get bill adjusted they may or may not fix the issue, but they WILL tell you its fixed. When you get your incorrect bill they may or may not be able to fix it but you WILL wait for a credit on your next bill. This has happened to me twice and these things may or may not happen to you as ypu may not even speak to anyone. They sent a tech to my home to install a camera and cable boxes and the tech didnt have any, told me to go to the store to get them myself. I am looking into why i can not use another company, in the mean time ill go to the store directly. read more

The worst TV streaming service (Xfinity Beta)! Comcast has done nothing to fix the problem of freezing, very slow startup,restarting etc. Called over a dozen times with no results! Not right for $130.00 a month for basic service. Even their own service tech who came out for 2 minutes say that's the way it is "the app is not very good" and left! Update May 11, 2016. Comcast is in my opinion the worse company I ever had to deal with. My condo complex only allows Comcast for cable at no discount to its residence simply because it's wired throughout by them [Comcast], so I was told by our HOA. Therefore, we are basically stuck to deal with this wretched company for our cable and internet. We had the Digital Economy TV package our first year in order to have a few good channels when we went down to our condo in Florida only a few times a year. We tried putting the services on hold, which they still charge you a lower monthly rate, but that didn't work out because we turned the services back on a few days earlier than the required three full months of mandatory seasonal hold. So they then charged the full price for the three months anyway. Customer service was no help whatsoever. And that's if you are lucky enough to reach a rep whose English is partly understandable. (I'm guessing from their accents from the dozens of times I called that their costumer service center is based in the Philippines, but definitely not the US). The price was 19.99 per month for the Digital Economy TV, but only for the first year, with very limited tier TV channels. After the discounts ended, the price to keep the relatively slow internet service with limited TV package going, ballooned from $100 to $120/month. When I called to update or reinstate the Digital Economy TV package at the discount rate, I was told that that TV tier was no longer available and that price is only for new customers. And the lowest priced tier for us is at 29.99/month plus tax and $10 HD 'tech' charge, plus another charge for DVR. I had no choice to accept, but when we came down and checked out the TV lineup, we now get BUBKIS for channels!!! Now they provide whatever is free over the air, shopping and church channels for $29.99. No HGTV, no Comedy Central, no channel of any entertainment value whatsoever. And if I only just want internet for my online services like HBO Go and Netflix, and forego their bogus TV deals, then they want to charge something like $89.99 plus tax for a very, very, very SLOW internet service, if you don't get a bundled TV package. I can't understand how there is no class action suit against these crooks. If you have a choice of cable/internet for your home I would suggest to stay clear of this crooked company. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. There should be negative stars as an option on Yelp and Comcast would sure deserve it. Been calling customer service at 1-800-COMCAST & 1-800-XFINITY for two days to add a service and after looping through their nonsensical menus wasting my time for hours I get keep getting messages like: We're sorry, THERE ARE NO AGENTS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST YOU AT THIS TIME. then get disconnected. After calling 1-855-817-9240 QOOLOGY DIRECT AUTHORIZE SERVICE They actually answered but one guy disconnected me after he said to place me on hold to bring up my account info and then the second person - after a half hour of giving her all my info including my last four of social - tells me they only offer bundles, not add ons, (which was the first thing I mentioned), then tells me to contact customer service at XFINITY!!! And I started the conversation with her that I could not reach Comcast's customer service for two days. She had said she could certainly help me with the add on (which apparently she could not 30 minutes later). And there is no alternative at our condo because Comcast is the only company permitted. Bottom line is that something sure is rotten. UPDATE: CHANGED TO TWO STARS FROM ONE: Opted for troubleshooting instead of add on customer services and spoke to a great rep who helped with no hassle. We have had Comcast/Xfinity for 20 years. We changed our plan and were not notified that the company cancels Investigation Discovery Network only for customers who modify their plans and will never be able to get the network back even if they upgrade or try to go to the previous plan. However, new customer, and those customers that have not changed their plans continue to have the network. I think this is unfair to the customers in general. read more

On 3/31/19 a technician came to our new home to setup cable, security and internet. An hour after he left all services went out. We called and were told someone was working on it and it would be back up shortly. Since this is not our main residence at the moment we believed what we were told and went home. On Tuesday 4/2/19 I called again now regarding issues at both our properties, after an hour and a half on the phone the issues at our main residence were resolved but I was told since there was no signal at the new house they needed to schedule a technician to come out. I explained that it was important to have someone out by the following day because we were having visitors. I was told this was impossible but the tech was escalating this request to a supervisor and I would be called back within the hour. I never received a call but I did receive a text confirming an appointment for April 5th between 3-5pm. Not wanting to continue making calls I accepted this and moved on. I received 4 follow up text messages confirming the appointment. At 2pm on April 5th after my brother left work early and drove an hour to wait for the tech we received a call stating the appointment was cancelled due to a computer error and they could come out the next morning from 8-10 am. The next morning would be Saturday 4/6/19. Immediately after hanging up I received a text confirming an appointment for 4/10/19 from 8-10 am. Xfinity does not in anyway value their customers and I hope whoever is considering getting their services reconsiders. read more

This company has the worst telephone service ever!!!!!!! My wife has tried 10 different times to get the service corrected and the system says it puts you on hold then disconnects you. Set up an order and was provided with confirmation number. Several days later, they left me a message stating they were unable to install and to call them back. When I called the 1st time, was put on hold for 15 minutes. I called back and was told there was a fatal error and they would have to "rebuild" the order. Obvious "bait & switch". I had a confirmation number, so they lied when they wanted to "rebuild'" my order and said it didn't go through. So glad to find out they were incompetent before the install. Comcast has the worst possible customer service. I have been a customer for almost 2 years and the quality of services for home phone and internet have been continuously poor. I have had to use my personal cell phone rather than home phone due to the extreme poor call quality and use my cell phone hot spot for internet due to connectivity issues. i have had multiple service technicians out to correct the issues and even though they recommended replacing the modem to correct the issue they have/will not replace it, even after I explicitly demanded it to be replaced. If that's not bad enough, I have had continuous billing issues with fraudulent international phone calls being placed on my account. To date I have been billed over $1k in international phone call charges that I did not make. I have had to call every month since November 2016 to resolve the billing issues, request a block on the international calling on my account and request an investigation. To date they still have not provided a full credit for all charges and I still am experiencing fraudulent charges. I have expressed my extreme concern over the security of my account, my internet and phone lines as clearly somehow my account is being compromised, but again no resolution. Don't bother calling customer service - it's clearly outsourced so the representatives are difficult to understand and ultimately each call I've spent anywhere between 1 - 2+ hours on the line explaining my issues and trying to get it resolved. The representative either claims they have put in the necessary escalations, tells me they will call back and/or says they will send a technician. As you probably guessed...none of that occurs. Today (May 31, 2017) I called in one last time to attempt to resolve these issues - I requested to immediately speak to a supervisor to get this escalated for resolution. I was put on hold again for 27+ minutes and ultimately told that a supervisor could not speak to me. Even after stating that I would be filing a BBB compliant, they still would not get on the line to help resolve the issue. So, I ended the call, filed my BBB compliant and now am posting this review in hopes to provide other consumers a warning to stay away from Comcast as a provider for any services. They admittedly KNOW they have terrible customer service and clearly do not care. They are not the only service provider and frankly I'd rather pay a premium cost to have piece of mind that I will get the services I am paying for, be treated with respect and value as a customer and the peace of mind of knowing that I have a vendor that cares about my security. Again, my recommendation is to CHOOSE ANY OTHER PROVIDER BUT COMCAST if you want good service and security of your personal accounts. read more

Cannot wait for U-Verse!! They charged my card on file over 200$ just because...A) my bill was not due until the 13th and they just decided to charge 200$ out of nowhere B) It was unauthorized! Shouldn't that be illegal?! They cannot charge a card on file just because they want to right?! I have to authorize the charge right?!? well guess what? They charged my card without my authorization!!!...That was on the 1st of this month, it is now the 6th of the month and I have not seen a penny back...you would think that because they made this charge illegally they would expedite it and I would see the charge back in my account already...nope...I've been promised two call backs and nothing.
