In the past we had the best cable and internet service available through Brighthouse. Nowadays we are forced to rely on Spectrum, and they pretty much suck. They have some really good associates but the overall service sucks big time. It goes off constantly and locks channels for no good reason. Technical support is slow and useless. Probably time to go elsewhere.

Company sent out a replacement router and modem. Spectrum said I could take original to ups or any store. This store on 436 will not take it. Said "The system won't let us". Waste of my time and I honestly don't believe the worker. Before coming, The spectrum associate on the -800 number told me to take it to the spectrum store rather than ups so I could get a receipt of delivery. She said the company is notorious for losing the devices, in processing or not giving credit to people who turn in their items. Very disappointed in this experience.

Darwin at that Location tried everything but finally told us that the phone is essentially a brick but since their franchise, there was nothing that he could really do about a refund. We retuned to this store to find the same employee, Bello, working. He in so many words told us to pi$$ off. At that point, I asked for the corporate phone number. He refused my request but called corporate at the TCC and spoke with them only to be told that, although he did not receive any of the services paid for, there was no way the service be refunded. Bello did not do his due diligence in making sure the phone worked before he walked out of the store the first time, the financial hit was on is. We paid for his screw up. We will be contacting Verizon corporate to let them know about this awful, careless, employee and poor location.

My daughter and I went to this store today, Jan 4, 2026 in the late afternoon, but well before…read moreclosing time. The first associate was busy with another couple, and we were next. After about 10-minutes a female associate walked into the showroom from the back, wiping her mouth as if she just ate. She was lethargic, inattentive, and couldn't comprehend why we were there. She took my license to scan, and then talked on her phone to someone else. When I asked for my license back, she said it was their policy to keep my ID until after the transaction. I explained that our transaction was over, and after insisting that she return my license, she finally did. We left, and went to the Cranes Roost store, where we received excellent service and exchanged two phones. The associate there explained that it certainly wasn't their policy to keep my ID, just to scan it to prevent fraud and protect my account. This made sense. I will avoid the Jamestown store at all costs. Very strange and unsettling experience. My daughter was in the process of texting me to let me know she was uncomfortable with the associate just prior to my cancelling the visit, so this was not just a matter of a misunderstanding. This was a matter of very poor performance by someone who, if she were working for me, would be fired immediately.

Manager and sales associates are deceptive and will absolutely lie to your face about promotions…read more(including telling you their store has a special promotion when it doesn't) and will misrepresent terms of general promotions even when asked directly for clarification. They added fees for "upgrades" without my consent (AT&T Protect Advantage and AT&T Next) even though I specifically asked them NOT to add those features. When approached about the fraudulent sales tactics and blatant lies after reviewing the bill, the store manager literally told us that he didn't care because "AT&T would have to pay for it" and not them. Yikes! Obviously, this is the type of store/management that will do anything and everything to increase their sale quotas, with absolutely no accountability from AT&T corporate. I upgraded my phone, added a second line with new phone, and added AT&T Internet Air that day. As a customer of at least 15 years, I've upgraded my device/plan in stores before and this is the only location that absolutely lied about everything they were doing on the account. At the very least, go to a different store or complete your transaction online. I personally would probably go with a different carrier altogether at this point. Not worth the hassle. If AT&T won't hold their retail locations accountable, then I have to assume they endorse it. I could probably find a better deal elsewhere anyways. (Manager: Kevin, Sales Associate: Rayan S.)
