Not much to say as it was an equipment change out, but I'm glad my experience was quick and easy. This morning my router was not working after trying all the usual troubleshooting hacks. The Chat specialist suggested me to go to the store and exchange the router for a new one. Thank goodness I made an appointment because they're definitely was a wait for walk in, but I arrived at my appointment right on time and was helped five minutes after and was out the door within 10 minutes. I finally did it. I canceled cable and stuck with just Internet. I came here to return my cable boxes. I did not have an appointment and that wasn't necessary nor was there a wait time! Both employees were super friendly and even made me aware I could get a cheap cell phone. I declined because I'm happy with my current service. I can't do too many changes in one day! Terrible experience. One worker just left while there was a line of 15 people. Waited for over 3 hours to just return equipment. Employee could have alternated people that just needed to return equipment(60 seconds) instead of spending 1+ hrs with others and working as slow as possible. read more

Wow! what a wonderful experience I just had at this location in Apopka. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by the manager, Leslie and everyone else in front of me. She was so cordial and so kind. It was great to immediately get acknowledged, knowing that there would be a wait. I wasn't even there five minutes and all of the staff took great care of everybody. Isaac is my guy. I have gone to him in the past and he is exceptional in his knowledge and professionalism. It's great to know the employees really do care about you. I have gone to this location a lot over the years and this is the best that it has ran in a long time, I would strongly suggest Spectrum that you keep as they are a well oiled machine. read more

I switched providers and Spectrum could not process my payment because they deleted my account. Sent me emails to "update my payment information that they had for 15 years". Couldn't update it because they closed my account and now they turned me over to a collection agency. I have a 760 credit rating and if these scumbags ruins it, I WILL SEE THEM IN COURT. THEY SUCK! Get another Interconnect/cable company and use your smart T.V. apps, NOT WORTH $300 per month if you have Amazon plus and or Netflix. NOW they want to negotiate!! Spectrum is way too expensive! In three years it's climbed to $275/a month! Dropped cable, phone and all movie channels down to basic (loss good channels) resulting in a $155/a month bill! Called to cancel they offer a promotion to lower the price. What a catch! How about giving all paying customers the lowest best price! What a novel idea. By the way they don't "prorate the final bill if cancelled before the end of the billing period. Needless to say the service has been cancelled! The Spectrum store stole one of the pieces equipment turned in last year! My husband couldn't find the turn in confirmation. They could see the box was being used. In the past we had the best cable and internet service available through Brighthouse. Nowadays we are forced to rely on Spectrum, and they pretty much suck. They have some really good associates but the overall service sucks big time. It goes off constantly and locks channels for no good reason. Technical support is slow and useless. As I was on my way to go have my phone looked at a possibly "fixed" store I was directed to by phone support, I was passing by this Appoka store. I thought to my self I would rather go talk to them first. I had spent a lot of time on the phone with that technical support, my issue not fixed and feeling quite dissatisfied, I stopped in. I was greater by Jose, explained my frustration and issue. We went through a few questions, he said try this btw is had to do with my phone no longer working with the Bluetooth of my car. It would pair but then just keep on a hamster well of being connected, not connected. It would not stay in one state long enough for my phone to even be used. In not more that few 3-5 minute's he gave me a solution, it worked and I AM ONE HAPPY CAMPER! TERRIBLE customer service. My phone died and I needed a new one. The store was busy, so I had to wait a bit. Unfortunately, I got Latasha. After listening to her interact with other customers, by time she called me I knew two things: (1) She had six years of service and (2) that she was leaving at 6PM. Once my name was called, not only did I feel rushed, it was done with a level of disinterest and prefuctory treatment that it reached a level of all but being insulting. And, when I had to go back the next day because the data transfer between the old phone and the new phone had lost most of my data, I found out that she hadn't followed the basic steps to successfully accomplish this task. I asked for a number I could call to complain about the previous service from Latasha. When I finally got through the phone tree of automated attendants and got a live attendant, I said why I was calling and was immediately put on hold since I needed to be transferred to the right person. After 7 minutes on hold, the same rep came back on the phone and said she could help me. Then she advised me she needed to pull up the website for the store I had visited. When I asked why she couldn't take the complaint, she explained that she needed to get the website, which I could go to, and list the complaint. When I asked if there was someone else I could talk to, I was advised again I could go to the website and do it myself. When I said that this wasn't good customer service since she had told me she was going to connect me to someone, she hung up on me. Obviously, Spectrum's customer service standards are low across the board. After years of being their customer and dealing with this sort of thing from them, I'm done. As soon as I can find new mobile, cable and internet services (their price increases are outrages for the quality of services received), I am dropping Spectrum. EVERYONE should. read more

Company sent out a replacement router and modem. Spectrum said I could take original to ups or any store. This store on 436 will not take it. Said "The system won't let us". Waste of my time and I honestly don't believe the worker. Before coming, The spectrum associate on the -800 number told me to take it to the spectrum store rather than ups so I could get a receipt of delivery. I would avoid this company unless you enjoy your payment being raised every few months by $5 "due to a nationwide price increase." The price literally for me has went up every 3 months and after being manipulated into "a deal" where they say your price won't change for a year, it goes up again. Spectrum is now not prorating your billing so that is you cancel service during a billing cycle they will still charge you the full rate! This is such a racket! Poor customer service, as usual! Spectrum , you might want to make sure the people you contract out to do work. Like techs burying cables, are versed in being professional and speak to customers with respect. The guy that came to bury our cable was the total opposite of this and he disconnected our cable without even telling me. In fact he was on my property without letting me know he was there. When talking to hind he informed me he did have to tell me that he was working on my property. He disconnected our cable something I was told would not need to be done . All he had to do was knock on my door, inform me of what he was doing and letting me know that my cable may go out but only while he was working. read more

The next day I called & found out the 14 days had expired the day before! Then I was told oh no, it goes by delivery date not activation date. I got one excuse after another so they could hold me to the auto payment for a piece of crap Samsung phone. I found out also that other companies DO accept my existing phone & I never had to agree to buy their phone to begin with! I was told when I originally called them that NO ONE would accept it. One lie after another. I cancelled my credit card so they won't be getting any more payments for a phone I never needed. They preferred I do that than pay the $50 cancellation fee & get their phone back. Mostly because they know it is a junk phone that they overcharged me for. I have Spectrum Business for my businesses phone and fax line and internet. I started out paying 125. 6 years ago and now its up to 165. Not a lot of increase but still an increase without letting you know. I'm having trouble with wifi and they will NOT help at all unless I pay for their router and up grade my services because I'm at a cheaper rate. So to help me they want me to pay another 60 dollars a month. Plus another 99 for installation fees. This is so sad that we have very little customer service when you pay so much each month. BEWARE! Spectrum has a scheme going where if you try to cancel service, they spend 30 minutes on the phone with you first going over why you are going to cancel and trying to stop you from canceling. Then they have to transfer you to another department to actually cancel. You have to wait on hold forever for this other department to answer. Then, suddenly, you're disconnected. When you try to call back and reach this department, they act like they don't know what you're talking about. Finally, when you get your next invoice you discover that they never canceled your service and you have to pay them for another month. Worse customer service ever. I am with Hulu Live now and really love it. The app is so much better than the Spectrum app and a lot cheaper. read more

If you want good internet you need 1 router for every device in your house. I average 200 ping and my father is an Uber driver and keeps going offline because spectrum.
