A month later, our systems signal is getting weaker so I called in and they told me they were sending a bridge and if I continue to experience issues to call back. System rebooted. I called in a few hours later on the same day, because the system was very weak and I couldn't speak using the doorbell speaker. System rebooted. I was told they were going to send a technician with the bridge. An appointment was set for a Tuesday, March 27 which I had to take time off from work to be able to available and the tech didn't show. No call, nothing. I call in and I was told it was a scheduling department issue and they will call me the following day. The following day, no call. I called in two days later to find out what happened and I was told the tech cancelled the appointment and they are sorry. The the customer service rep tried to help and with the help of the scheduling department, they set up another appointment for today, Saturday April 14th. Once again I take time off and guess what?? No one showed up!! I confirmed the appt via email. This is the second time, a tech hasn't shown up or called. No communication from Vivint. Why do I even have this system?? I pay for a system they can't get their things in order!!! After getting an earful from me, because I am extremely disappointed and upset with the lack of service, another appointment was set. We shall see if Vivint will show. A very upset customer.

Despite this, the company refused to issue a refund or cancel my service, claiming I am still bound to a 5-year contract--even though the equipment was returned and the issue remains unresolved. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly, but they would not work with me. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend based on their lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve a legitimate issue.

Upon further review I searched the serial number obtained from the instruction manual for the lock that was installed and it costs $50.00. The installation took an hour or less and I have RING camera proof. This company charged $699 dollars to install a $50 dollar lock for an hour of labor. Please think critically and logically as this is extremely above market price ( per google results and asking different companies locally) and they took advantage of my wife being home alone. I have proof to back up all my claim in pictures. Please ask for written statement and signature of pricing before installation so they cannot up-charge as the bank will not cancel a transaction in your favor if there is a receipt and signature as proof. Lastly, My wife did not know better ultimately it is up to the consumer to be aware and educated to avoid scum like these people. Please note as well the receipt for credit card transaction does not match their business name. This seems strange.
