They carry Dilly Dallies which are awesome for a high energy, active kid. The receptionist was so kind and found out that my daughter had eyeglass coverage even though I didn't think we did! Many places wouldn't bother but she really dug! The person who measured her for the glasses was efficient and quick. Yes, at 1:05 am, so irritated that I couldn't even sleep until I wrote this review. Yes, she has me that frustrated and upset. Why is a receptionist a fire wall between you and the doctor? The lovely woman I spoke with about 15 hours ago didn't want to allow me to see Dr. Kidd for a change to my prescription because I 1) couldn't be dilated (I am very sensitive to it and need to get a ride) and 2) I didn't want the eye numbing agent that is has an obscene amount of artificial yellow dye in it. I said, "Ok, well then maybe I should find a different doctor if what I'm uncomfortable with isn't OK?" She replied, "That probably would be best!" To whoever runs this practice - I would politely suggest you monitor your receptionists. You lost my ENTIRE FAMILY as patients with that one receptionist today. A receptionist who literally had me in tears after the call with how apathetic she was to me. (By the way. Do I *really* need all those tests? In this day and time when businesses are robbing us blind, we seem to have no protection as in days…read moregone by. This business is one of those businesses you need to be protected from. I found the optometrist (a female), very through. Ordering glasses is what makes me angry. They charged me $300 for the cheapest pair of glasses ever made. They were bifocal, plus they charged me an extra $20, that I had to pay myself. I don't care for the glasses but what could I do but order a pair online that I could afford. I had to ask these people 4 times to send my prescription by email. They claimed the doctor had to look at it and sign it but I never got it. A couple of months later I tried again. Still they did not send. Called a few days later they sent prescription unsigned saying it was not valid. I'm sure they knew I wanted to order online so no PD number of course. By that time I was aggravated and threatened to let everyone know their practices in my review. They didn't care, they still did not correct this. I guess I WILL have to contact the BBB and a new optometrist.

The person that helped me was a guy named Paul - he was really great in helping me find not only a pair of glasses but a cool pair of sun glasses as well. Getting glasses can be a little stressful since it's not something you really do all that often, but Paul was really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions quickly.
