First of all, I'm very glad I stumbled onto Speaker Works. Solid business from the start. Responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. I had taken my 24 Telluride to another shop for a DSP, amp and sub install, and was very dissatisfied. I ended up taking my ride and new install to Speaker Works, and had them redo the install, from scratch. I'm now blown away with the sound of the car!! It now sounds exactly how I expected it too. They pointed out a few things the other shop did incorrectly, and from that we decided to do a new clean install. What a difference from the install to the sound. They took pictures of the install and made sure I was happy before I left, and offered to retune if I needed any tweaks. They also completed the install right on time! Was excited to check out Speaker Works because my uncle used to own this shop and I was excited to see how it was doing. I called to get some info on a new head unit and subwoofer and Ray gave me some suggestions and asked if I could come in and check out their display board that had multiple different models. I went with his suggestions on the full setup and couldn't be happier! I have had multiple different cars that my uncle upgraded back in the day and was so excited to upgrade my audio on my Tacoma. He got the entire install done in a day and walked me through all the features and settings. Glad to see the shop is in great hands. read more

Customer care and service are alive and well at Speakers Works! Took my wife's restored 2003 BMW Convertible in as the sound system was shot. Met with Ray the owner and he had the answers. No upsell, just a truthful assessment of the situation and a solution recommendation. Music has never sounded better in the car. Bottom line - If you want an honest and knowledgeable professional to analyze and enhance your car's sound system, Go see Ray. read more

***** 5 STARS I called Speaker Work regarding my 2023 Yamaha AR 190 Boat , Ray immediately answered the call and listen to all my request. I told him that I had all my parts and I was only looking for a rough estimate on how much it'll be for upgrading quite a few things. He responded by telling me he was working on a boat and he also sent me pictures of the boat he was working on/previous boats that he had worked on so I knew right away I was in good hands. He was able to get me in a week after we talked and they were able to give me my boat back within five days right before Memorial Day weekend, which worked out great for me and my family considering I was going to the lake that Friday I got the boat back. I want to say thank you so much to Ray and speaker works so much. I definitely recommend them for all the upgrading top-of-the-line service. read more

10000% recommend this place! Took my 2011 infinity G37 in to get an upgrade and change my radio. The work that Ray and Victor did was seriously a miracle. My car definitely does not look like a 2011 model anymore... HUGE upgrade and not to mention the great hospitality and consideration of keeping me consistently updated throughout the whole process. I was extremely skeptical of even making the change out of fear that something could get jammed or stop working due to poor install. But everything is working perfectly and i feel confident in the work that they did. I'll definitely be returning for any additional services that I may want down the line. read more

This place was great! I called a few days before and explained our issue and they said bring it in. We had some speakers installed from a mobile audio company that did not do as they had promised (we got screwed) so I brought the car in to Speaker Works and they were honest about our situation and got down to the bottom of our issue. They gave us options on how to navigate forward without pressure. They reassured us that it wasn't the end of the world but things could be better! At the end of the day our kids were stoked on the new speakers working correctly and life is good!! Thank you gentlemen for being patient with us from the get go!! Oh and the shop is beautiful with a great location! read more

I highly recommend speaker works! They did phenomenal job, not only on the install, but also throughly explaining every part of the install and taking time to show examples. I'm absolutely in love with my new sound system! read more

Speaker Works was my final visit out of 4 other "audio" places.  Should have been the first and saved myself the headache as well as thousands of dollars   I had started writing the longest rant on what went wrong at other businesses, but you aren't on here to read about other shops, you're specifically reading this to see if it's worth your time and money to check our Ray and the Speak Works team.  Spoiler -  It 100% is.   Ray was not only able to tune my newly installed high end system (that was poorly installed from 2 other shops) to sound amazing, but he re-did the entire installation, wire for wire, adapter for adapter while updating me with pictures every step of the way.  Note that this isn't your typical Al and Ed's adding some bass to flex in your 91 Civic.  This is a professional legitimate team of audio experts with tons of experience in adding a better audio experience while keeping the integrity of the entire car; factory wires, panels, walls, engine bay etc. Don't try to save yourself a couple hundred or even a thousand (or 2) at an unreputable shop.  You might just end up spending more trying to repair it (much more common than you think).  Life is too short to be stressing over audio upgrades and installation.  Go to Speaker Works and I GUARANTEE that it will be done proper from the start. read more

I received my first DUI in November 2023. In 2024, it was OPTIONAL for me to have a IID (ignition interlock device) put on my car for six months. I had trouble using the device due to breathing issues. After a week of having it on my car, I asked the owner/operator if he could remove it. He told me no. I told him, and showed him the paperwork stating that it was OPTIONAL for me to have the device on my car. That if I decided to have it removed, I just wouldn't be allowed to drive for a year. Anyway, he STILL refused to remove it, so I decided to live with it. When the 6 month time frame was almost up for him to remove the device off my car, the owner refused to do so. Although I showed him the original paperwork from the DMV, stating when my removal date would be. He gave me a hard time about it, and said that I would have to call the company Smart Start, who was the middleman, and manufacturer of the device; whom I originally paid to rent the device for installation on my car. After contacting Smart Start, they made it clear to me that I absolutely did NOT have to get authorization from their company to remove the IID. They said, all I had to do was show the owner of Speaker Works the original paperwork from the DMV stating when the device was allowed to be taken off. I approached the owner again with the paperwork. And he basically gave me a hard time stating, that if I had the IID taken off prematurely, that the DMV could come after me, and fine me, and that I could have my restricted license taken away etc... I told him what Smart Start said; that all I needed was the original paperwork from the DMV, and to present it to him. (This was when I showed him the paperwork the SECOND time.) He made an appointment for the following week to take off the device. The following week he did, but begrudgingly so. He only wanted me to keep the device on my car beyond the 6 month time frame, so that way, he could still collect his $100.00 plus, every month, which I had to pay him in order to recalibrate the IID. If you're a shy and timid person, and don't have the confidence to speak up for yourself, the owner will bully you into keeping your device on a lot longer than necessary. Not that I care, but the owner/operator and his company are Trump supporters, if that makes any difference. read more
