    Speaker Works is legit! I took my 2025 F250 in to get a subwoofer installed, and the workmanship is fantastic -- super clean with high-quality parts. Rey took the time to call me several times and went over different options for the build before starting the work, which I really appreciated. I could not be happier with the work performed or the sound quality. Speaker Works is the only place I will be going to from now on. I couldn't recommend them enough!

    Called Speaker Works and spoke to Ray about the used car I purchased for my daughter and he told me to swing on by and he could take a look same day and see what we could do to upgrade the head unit and add a backup camera. I went down and he took a look and told me it wouldn't be an issue, and then showed us various products we could select and pros and cons of each. Ray wasn't rushing us at all, he took the time to make sure we got what we were looking for in our price range. I left the car with them and picked it up the next day and was super impressed! Looks like it was factory installed and works great. My daughter loves it! If you are looking for a shop that isn't big on the sales pitch but is big on customer service and making sure you love their work, this is the spot.

    Ray and his team did an amazing custom installation on my daughter's car. Now she has an Apple Car Play integrated Hands Free system and all of the vehicles original electronics and safety features were left intact. Bravo!

    Ray and the Speaker Works staff are nothing less than phenomenal. I first encountered Ray three years ago to upgrade the sound and stereo of my 1991 Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible. During our first interaction, I bombarded Ray with many questions regarding prices, custom work, recommendations and best brands to use as I was very new to improving the quality of sound in my vehicles. He was very patient, informative, and overall made me feel very welcomed into his business. Most recently, I brought in my 2004 Ford Excursion for similar work and it was the same great experience all over again. Thank you Ray and the Speaker Works staff for all of the great work and helping me build my cars beyond my satisfaction. I will be coming back for more upgrades!

    I just had a complete system installed by Ray and his crew at Speaker Works. This is my second full system upgrade done by them. I'll start off by stating that, in my opinion, having more than 6 vehicles have systems installed into them in the last twenty years, the quality of workmanship, cleanliness and overall customer satisfaction with Ray is second to none. I have TRIED to find one thing I'm not 100% satisfied with and I have not been able to. This install was set to be a relatively mid budget upgrade. I explained to Ray my cost constraints and he made it his mission to get me within my budget. Already knowing his shop and their quality of work, I was very happy to move forward. If this was just reviewing Speaker Works as a shop who installs awesome gear, they're a 10/10. No questions asked, I would refer anyone and everyone I know to Ray. Now, I will detail why Ray as a person is a 10/10 human being. We made a deal on Tuesday, myself understanding that it would most likely be a week or two before he could do the install, as it's a full two day job. Ray contacts me that night, advises he had a rescheduled job and if I wanted to, he could fit me in the NEXT DAY. I advised him that I would love to do this, however, my work schedule is an early start. Ray then offers to have my drop my truck off at his shop at 630am, three hours before they open and then give me a ride to the work...WHO DOES THIS? I cannot say enough about this guy. Lastly, sound deadening is very important to me for not only sound, but ride quality. I paid for all doors to be sound deadened and I should preface this with knowing how solid a job these guys do with sound deadening. Ray also completely matted the back hatch of my 4Runner and upgraded the factory hatch speakers at no additional charge. I'll end this review by saying if quality of work, quality of product and overall kindness of a human being are what determines where you do business, I challenge anyone to find someone better than Ray and Speaker Works.

    If I can put more stars I would, From beginning to end they gave extraordinary customer service. They made the whole experience feel as if we all knew each other for some time. The hospitality was beyond great and the final results were beyond expectation. Hands down the best shop out there, no questions asked. The whole staff is amazing! Car literally sounds like a club on wheels.

    Can't say how much we are satisfied with this company. From the work, to the owners being kind to children, having a load of snacks, a TV and waiting room available for families. We are so thankful and happy to choose them. It's not our 1st or last time coming. Great work and skillset. Forever thankful. Living in California and how much traffic there is it's best to be safe and have the best of the best who knows what they're doing do our install. Thank you speaker works for always doing immaculate work. My children appreciate the rubber duckies

    Do Not Use this company for an install. Just 4 years ago, I had a Pioneer stereo and backup camera…read morehead unit, plus steering wheel controls, installed in my Tundra. The usual installer was off for the day but the owner said he could do it. Several calls to the regular guy yielded a poorly installed unit that now, wont show the backup camera, unless the system decides it wants to or it shows the backup camera view 100% of the time. The music fades in and out, the reception wont stay on one station. Sometimes Im even able to change the station using the steering wheel controls. Most times, not. Sometimes, I cant even change the volume of the stereo. All in all for more than $500, the installation quality sucks. Oh, lets not forget that everything I needed for online learning, etc, was thrown out by the shop including the remote.

    Years after this service I had a check engine light pop on that read I had a small gas leak…read moresomewhere - never would have thought it was more than something small. 4 shop visits, 5 smoke tests, over 1k later, and I found out that they drilled 4 holes into the top of my gas tank while installing my sub woofer in the trunk because they used ridiculously long screws during install. Unluckily for me, the truth didn't present itself until years later and besides this original review I have no way of proving this is the business that did it. When I called the business to see if they would help me they took advantage of my not having a receipt anymore and said they've never worked on a police interceptor, especially since I've moved states twice. Just stay away, and go somewhere more reputable and willing to admit damage they've done to a vehicle. I'm sure when they got the screws in they immediately realized what they had done and just let me drive off like that without saying anything to anyone.

    The photos show the lazy job I had received. I take full…read moreaccountability for not replying when I first said I would. However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.
