Called Speaker Works and spoke to Ray about the used car I purchased for my daughter and he told me to swing on by and he could take a look same day and see what we could do to upgrade the head unit and add a backup camera. So i bought a 12 inch sub off facebook marketplace (bad idea). I went here to get it installed, then i found out the sub i bought was broken (it was not visibly broken btw). The person on facebook who sold me the sub said to go back and get the wiring checked out before they refund me. I called Ray and he told me it was no problem to come and get it checked out for no extra cost. We switched out the subs with another one to confirm the subwoofer itself was broken as it was. Went to Ray a couple months ago to get a new stereo in my daughters Mazda 3. He went over every cost and part needed and sent pictures of everything he did. Very upfront about costs and was always prompt with calling back and texting. She just had an issue with Apple CarPlay and Ray switched out the radio and put in a new rear camera as well and went over specific chargers to use etc. Excellent service! I just had a complete system installed by Ray and his crew at Speaker Works. This is my second full system upgrade done by them. I'll start off by stating that, in my opinion, having more than 6 vehicles have systems installed into them in the last twenty years, the quality of workmanship, cleanliness and overall customer satisfaction with Ray is second to none. I have TRIED to find one thing I'm not 100% satisfied with and I have not been able to. This install was set to be a relatively mid budget upgrade. I explained to Ray my cost constraints and he made it his mission to get me within my budget. Already knowing his shop and their quality of work, I was very happy to move forward. If this was just reviewing Speaker Works as a shop who installs awesome gear, they're a 10/10. No questions asked, I would refer anyone and everyone I know to Ray. Now, I will detail why Ray as a person is a 10/10 human being. We made a deal on Tuesday, myself understanding that it would most likely be a week or two before he could do the install, as it's a full two day job. Ray contacts me that night, advises he had a rescheduled job and if I wanted to, he could fit me in the NEXT DAY. I advised him that I would love to do this, however, my work schedule is an early start. Ray then offers to have my drop my truck off at his shop at 630am, three hours before they open and then give me a ride to the work...WHO DOES THIS? I cannot say enough about this guy. Lastly, sound deadening is very important to me for not only sound, but ride quality. I paid for all doors to be sound deadened and I should preface this with knowing how solid a job these guys do with sound deadening. Ray also completely matted the back hatch of my 4Runner and upgraded the factory hatch speakers at no additional charge. I'll end this review by saying if quality of work, quality of product and overall kindness of a human being are what determines where you do business, I challenge anyone to find someone better than Ray and Speaker Works. read more

First of all, I'm very glad I stumbled onto Speaker Works. Solid business from the start. Responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. I had taken my 24 Telluride to another shop for a DSP, amp and sub install, and was very dissatisfied. I ended up taking my ride and new install to Speaker Works, and had them redo the install, from scratch. I'm now blown away with the sound of the car!! It now sounds exactly how I expected it too. They pointed out a few things the other shop did incorrectly, and from that we decided to do a new clean install. What a difference from the install to the sound. They took pictures of the install and made sure I was happy before I left, and offered to retune if I needed any tweaks. They also completed the install right on time! I told him that I had all my parts and I was only looking for a rough estimate on how much it'll be for upgrading quite a few things. He responded by telling me he was working on a boat and he also sent me pictures of the boat he was working on/previous boats that he had worked on so I knew right away I was in good hands. 10000% recommend this place! Took my 2011 infinity G37 in to get an upgrade and change my radio. The work that Ray and Victor did was seriously a miracle.
