I am writing my first ever Yelp review because I must commend the outstanding job that Victor did installing dash cameras in two of my vehicles. He was so pleasant to work with, extremely responsive, and did a phenomenal job. I am so happy that I found him! read more

Victor saved my life twice now. After a botched speaker installation at a different shop, I came to Victor for a full review and repair of the wiring system. While there, I also opted to add sound deadening to the (4) passenger doors. (Makes all the difference for a centralized sound) He fixed the wiring issues and tuned the system to my liking. Now the sound in my car is flawless. Highly recommend coming here for your car audio needs. His pricing is reasonable and his service is overall kind and professional. read more

I can't say enough good things about So Cal Audio Solutions! My daughter's car had been having ongoing Bluetooth connectivity issues, and even the dealership couldn't resolve it. I also got quotes from a few other car audio shops, and they all wanted to charge a significant amount for the repair. The team at So Cal Audio Solutions was incredibly kind, honest, and knowledgeable. They took the time to look at the problem, quickly figured out what was causing it, and had it working almost immediately. They saved me both time and money, and I truly appreciated that they focused on helping rather than trying to sell me something I didn't need. It's refreshing to find a business that genuinely cares about its customers. I highly recommend So Cal Audio Solutions, and they've definitely earned my business for the future! read more

Victor did an incredible job running a set of charger cables from the cabin to the engine bay. His meticulous care and attention to detail really stood out. I'll definitely be returning for any future electrical work on my rig. Highly recommended! read more

Right when I spoke to Victor over the phone, I could tell he was the right guy to take my car to. I took my car to his shop because of an issue I thought was related to an anti-theft system that I was experiencing on a car that I had just bought and I wanted to get it removed to solve my issue. He immediately was able to diagnose that the alarm wasn't the problem, but did not hesitate one second to help me figure out my car. We worked together inspecting the car, scratching our heads but ultimately, he was able to figure out the electrical wiring issue I had. I was stressed all day cause of my car but he made me feel like I was in good hands even though he wasn't a mechanic. I genuinely appreciated his patience and willingness to help. He definitely was the savior to my day. He is an amazing business owner and even more of an amazing human being. He gave me a tour of his shop and offered plenty of refreshments. I will 100% be recommending his business to my family and friends. Thanks again for saving my day Victor! read more

Victor installed a dashcam in both my fiancée's and my car. He made the process so easy, I dropped off the car, walked to the Starbucks across the street, and an hour and a half later, Victor called to tell me it was done. He walked me through the install, and it looked great. Victor is the ultimate professional and couldn't have made it easier. 5/5. read more

Car stereo systems have become increasingly complex with advancements in technology. The cost of a full car audio system has risen significantly, making it a serious investment for vehicles owners. If you're like me, and want the best stereo for your car, you'll also want to ensure it's installed by a professional. After visiting several local shops in Orange County area and dealing with pushy salespeople trying to unload their showroom equipment, I found Victor at So Cal Audio Solutions. During my initial visit, I met with Victor to discuss a complete stereo system for my truck, including speakers, two amplifiers, a subwoofer, a backup camera, and some off-road lighting. While Victor did have some equipment in stock, he had no issue with me bring in my own car audio gear. After receiving a quote from Victor, I decided to purchase everything from Crutchfield and had it shipped to my house. I then scheduled an appointment and dropped my truck off. When I got my truck back, I was thrilled with how clean and professional the installation was. Victor even went the extra mile by fixing and tidying up some loose wiring for the rear door locks. If you're considering a car stereo upgrade, I highly recommend meeting with Victor to discuss your project. I'm already planning to get a dash cam for my truck, and without a doubt , I'll be bring it back to So Cal Audio Solutions. read more

If you have a high-end vehicle with an elaborate sound system you basically have two service options in So. OC, one in Newport, the other less than 5 miles away in Costa Mesa. My Bentley has a 20 speaker sound system and nothing is easily accessible. It's like owning a boat...Break Out Another Thousand no matter how small the service need is. I needed to replace a blown speaker in the dash. I gathered quotes from both companies. Victor at So Cal Audio Solutions was a regular nice guy who explained the challenges unique to my Continental GT Speed couple and why the labor would require 8 hours to complete installation of two small speakers. Yep...a thousand bucks. Then I visited the other shop to get an estimate. When I shook this guy's hand, I instantly felt the need to shower. An icky feeling enveloped me and I could not wait to get outta there. Then I received an initial email from him stating, "This is a minimum 20 hour job. And would probably run into the $3500 to $4000 range to replace one 1.5 inch speaker. What I recommend is not replacing the dash mount unit, but disconnecting them and relocating some new tweeters to the door or the kick panels. It would be about a quarter of the price." "In a second message, after explaining how an overhaul of the entire system is best he writes, "Our labor is $140 per hour, 22 to 26 hours is my guesstimate. ( $3000 to $3600ish ) and $300 for a set of tweets Audiofrog GB15s would have the same characteristics of the OEM tweeter but sound much better ( just remember, I have no control over how they sound as I cant change the EQ/DSP settings." The email goes on & on like this and near the end he states, "I'm not telling you this to scare you, I want you to know what you are getting into. No matter how good the tech, no matter how anal retentive they are, sh#t happens. We do Rolls Royce, Bentleys, Ferraris, Lambos etc. We are not afraid of any cars, but there are a few cars like yours that are the bane of our industry." So if you trust your gut like I do and hand your fob to Victor...you too can enjoy the amazing sound you require without the inflated costs, delays and bovine excrement that their bigger competitor spews. My advice, get quotes from both places but wear a glove when you shake the other guy's hand. Ewwww. Vic fixed my system in a single day and when he removed the dash he discovered some bolts that secure the air bags missing nuts (see pic) and before reinstalling the dash, went and found the missing parts and installed them all on his own. That says all ya need to know about the man. Zero room for improvement. The sound is back to normal (which is amazing) and I am completely satisfied. So Cal Audio Solutions sets the customer care bar so high, the competition needs to charter a jet just to see it. Actually, with the prices they charge, they can probably go see it in their own jet. LOL Thanks Victor! read more

I had Victor install a Porsche PCCM+ into my older 911 with an aftermarket backup camera. He did a terrific job and most likely saved me a lot of headaches if I tried to do it myself. He was easy to get a hold of, did a nice clean job and did the whole installation very efficiently. In fact, I told him I wish I knew about him before I bought the PCCM to replace my old stock stereo. Because his aftermarket alternatives from Alpine and Kenwood are better and cheaper! I highly recommend this business. read more

Victors attention to detail is unmatched. Not only did he help repair and install both broken subs but was able to test out each one before even installing them which helped us determine that one of them that I bought from a dealer was broken from the factory. If you are considering getting any audio repair or upgrades to your car Victor is your man! Thank you so much again Victor. My drives are so much better now without blown subwoofers. read more

Although the Yelp reviews led me to believe we were going to end up with a great speaker system I was wrong. I had Victor install 2 new rear speakers. They were not cheap which I figured would end up being worth the price. Ever since he installed them my car sounds like I have Jet Plane in my car. When I drive it has the most annoying exhaust sound. I tried to have him come and fix the issue but he said he doesn't know what it is. Something wasn't done right. Now I have to take it to a shop to get fixed. read more

Got a new car and didn't like the stereo it came with. I am not a stereo enthusiast, don't care about impressing any passers nearby, and am picky about keeping things looking stock and hidden. I was referred to So Cal Audio Solutions for him being honest and that he makes house calls. I reached out to Victor and chatted about what I needed. He gave me some solutions that fit my budget and option for future expansion if needed (This process took some time for he is extremely busy). Once the appointment was made, the entire process was extremely fast and painless. Didn't have to leave my car at the shop for days, He came out on a holiday, the installation was clean and tidy, and the end results had me smiling ear to ear. Also, he even lowered the price due to a change in one of the speakers he installed to ensure a better fit. so, super nice guy, honest, on time, convenient, and an expert at his craft. Highly recommended. -R read more

There is nothing more refreshing than meeting a person who is not only good at their job but also a good person. I would recommend him for any vehicle or issues. read more

Victor is a professional, and perfectionist. I have a 2016 new to me Cadillac CTS - Vsport with the Bose sound system. Stock sound is a little weak. I have a custom exhaust that sounds like my caddy feeds on the souls of Civics and Evo's for breakfast and needed some oomph... more bass to match. Victor presented me with equipment options and I have to say he integrated a powered sub into my system perfectly. He is familiar with adding anything to Bose factory systems and I couldn't be happier. He knew what equipment would work for my application, has it in stock and was able to install it in an hour. I went from a text to boom boom extremely fast. Thank You Victor!!! read more
