I was referred to Rocco's Auto Tech from another audio shop, and I'm EXTREMELY happy I was. They are knowledgeable, thorough, accommodating, and beyond fair. I had a camera replaced, new seals put in, and an amp issue on my Mercedes. It was all done in a day, exactly the price that was quoted, and when I had an issue with programming, I brought it back and it was resolved within an hour. I absolutely recommend this shop! read more

I went to them for my wife's BMW 2013 because the dealership had given me a quote of $3, 400 to replace the head multimedia unit. The radio was not working and it came on and off on its own, the entire system was glitchy and the screen was frozen at BMW. Rocco took over after trying the traditional route and thinking that we can't afford to spend that much on this car . He first reprogrammed the unit head and amazingly it worked back perfectly. We paid about 15% of the dealership quote and we had it back. Then after learning that we can upgrade to a full 10 inch screen (she had a 5.8) I decided to give her that as a Christmas gift :) we just did the upgrade a few days ago. Next year will will do the rear camera as well ‍ for Christmas Overall , great job , great value and great time. Very thankful for both Joe and Andy. read more

Love this place, I've been referring my friends here for years. They do a lot of calibrations for a very fair price

This place was recommended by a fellow mechanic. Rocco fixed my stereo on My Benz! Thank you!

Outstanding Service and Professionalism! I had an incredible experience with Rocco's Auto Tech. They got me in right on time and immediately took the time to explain what they thought the issue might be. They walked me through the entire diagnostic process so I understood exactly what they were doing and why. They diagnosed the problem quickly, reassured me they could take care of it, and provided a very reasonable quote. Within two days, the repair was complete -- and they even called me a day early (on Sunday!) to let me know my vehicle was ready for pickup. When I arrived, Joe personally walked me through everything he'd done, explained the solution in detail, and made sure I understood how the problem was fixed. It's rare to find that level of transparency and care in auto repair shops today. My van works perfectly now, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend Rocco's Auto Tech for anyone looking for honest, reliable, and professional automotive care! read more

I've used these guys several times and it always goes great. Recently they installed a back up camera on my Porsche 911. I can't believe it didn't come with one. Anyhow, they always answer the phone. The prices are very competitive, and there's never any surprise nicks or cuts on the dash or surrounding area. For Bluetooth integration, backup cameras, CarPlay... Anything like that these are your guys. read more

Joe is the MAN. I have. 2019 530e that has a known screen dimming issue. I contacted 10+ specialty BMW shops, all the coding platforms, and bmw dealerships themselves and nobody could fix my issue. Joe took the problem on as his own. When he gets working on something he dives all in, and his knowledge on German cars is unmatched. 5/5 stars and highly recommend his shop. read more

Joe is the best when it comes to his craft. My MBZ was having electrical issues. My mechanic could not figure out (which was really disappointing) what was causing the short so they recommended me to go here...so I made an appointment. Within 30 minutes of dropping off my car, he found out that it was the fuse box that was causing the electrical short and explained everything to me. After ordering the part and installing it everything is great again. Joe is very thorough with his work, he ran the MBZ Vehicle Diagnostic Report that checks all the modules of the car and gave me a copy of it...all passed. He really knows his stuff, it's the reason why other people and businesses recommends him highly. Check out his website for all the customization that he does. It is by appointment only though. read more

This place is insane. I've spent over 1k in diagnosis and gotten no answers from others shops. I finally had to go to Mercedes Dealer and they quoted me $7,100. Just came here and all they did was reprogram everything which has been insane. 10/10 experience overall. read more

Had a great experience with Rocco's in updating an OEM instrument cluster. The updated cluster is not plug and play and requires both expertise and the appropriate equipment to perform. Another specialty shop tried and failed so I was a little skeptical initially as I didn't want to get my hopes up. Joe is very knowledgeable and outlined what the job likely entailed. I was pleasantly surprised when he let me know that the car was finished. Gas gauge is now working and the SRS light is no longer on. Very pleased that he was able to get it working since I had tried a total of three shops before finally finding Roccos. Thanks again Joe! Will be bringing it back to get the entertainment monitors set-up. read more

I came here upon recommendation from a friend and I am very happy I did! Joe mounted a front and rear dash camera and did excellent job hiding all wires and ensuring the device worked properly. I very much appreciate his effort and professionalism when it came to installation and explaining to me how everything worked. He was nice enough to even loan me a car so I could get to work instead of Uber to Irvine and then back! This shop comes highly recommended and I'll be back to install a back-up camera as well! Much appreciated! read more

Joe man where do I start! I almost forgot to do this review but I want to take the time to thank him and his receptionist so much for showing us nothing but love and professionalism with myself & my wife, working on my Mercedes CLA 250 doing a starlight install on my headliner! At first when I brung the job to joes attention he attacked the idea ready to get started & I came on a Friday & he told me it would be done by Sunday & then I could pick the car up! I was fine with that but when he called a couple hours later after the drop off and said the car was ready and he wanted me to check it out! I rushed back and was utterly amazed at my idea that he brung to life & even installed apple car play in the car for free! Thank you guys for everything!! The job has held up perfect ever since & people love them when they get in the car. Check it out for yourself in these pictures. read more

I'm sorry my promised review is long overdue. I can't say enough great things about the service provided by Joe & Shanna. The customer service experience was above & beyond expectations. Shanna is friendly and knowledgeable - her follow-up and attention to detail was awesome. I guess I was expecting a dingy little garage but I was blown away how pristine and organized the shop was. The loaner car so I could get to work was also a huge bonus! Joe installed an aftermarket backup camera in my new SLK. When I got home, I noticed a timing glitch with the camera unfortunately but Shanna worked me into the schedule immediately and Joe made the adjustment quickly and free of charge. If you are looking for honest and experienced professionals, call Joe & Shanna. I will definitely be coming back for the subwoofer upgrade. Thanks you guys!!! read more

We have a 2015 MB GLC300 that was didn't have Apple CarPlay. Rocco's was able to install the upgrade and provided personal instructions on how to work the system. No new head units were needed. The OEM display remained and a hardwired 3.5mm headphone plug to lightning connector completed the system. All the reprogramming was done in less then three hours. Cost was a bit high but probably about the same as a brand new head unit. read more

Before i bought my car there I was told 2x that if the reprogramming of sirius satellite on my car does not work I will not be charged. However I was still charged! I explained to him that I was told by dealer that my porsche radio losing satelitte service was hardware but he said programming could fix it. No charged but after 2 hours it did not work i was still cherged $150 plus and estimate of $1000 to replace radio module. I would get everything they say in writing before you have your car service there. Now my factory navigation is not working properly due to that re programming. The dealer by the way when they try to re program my sirius satelitte and it did not work did not charged me at all! read more

I needed Sirius installed in my Mercedes CLA 250 after I realized the new MB's do not have an AUX outlet. I found Rocco's on an MB auto blog. I visited their website and was truly shocked at their level of capability in installing features like Sirius, rear cameras, parking sensors etc. They do the install the same way Mercedes would have done it without voiding any warranties. I was in and out in about 3 hours, and the Sirius install cost around $1150 out the door. A little pricy, but well worth it. Oh yah, Rocco's is the only place in CA I could find to perform these services. I drove all the way from San Jose to Costa Mesa and I thank God I did. Rocco's is awesome. I'll be back for the $985 Rear Camera Yelp deal. read more

I see other's have rated Rocco's 5 stars as I've come to leave my review and I can't agree more. I was fortunate to have been referred to Rocco's by Marx MBZ Service, and upon arriving at Rocco's was greeted immediately, I told them what the problem was with my GPS systems and Joe identified the problem, quoted me, had an opening and got the problem solved. This BTW after visiting numerous places and being told something completely different, which I'm sure would have cost me a lot more. Thanks Joe and Cassie for the great service!! read more

Rocco was referred to me by my Porsche mechanic right down the road. I'm so happy Robert told me to go to Rocco's Auto Tech. He assessed my car stereo problem in just a few minutes and was on the phone ordering replacement parts/ new stereo immediately. I came back a couple days later with my wife and a couple bikes to ride the Santa Ana River trail for the day while Rocco puts in my new stereo. Rocco was working on another car and would get to my car next. My wife was worried that the 4 hour job will now take longer because he can't start on it right away. We ride our bike to the Lazy Dog cafe in Anaheim ( first meal at a restaurant since Covid 19 hit ) my phone rings and they say your car is ready. I say wow that was fast and she says well Rocco was able to fix your stereo and didn't need to replace it so instead of $1,500 it will be $399. I mean what can you say that is just the best news! Rocco is the man, 5 star all the way around! read more
