I went to them for my wife's BMW 2013 because the dealership had given me a quote of $3, 400 to replace the head multimedia unit. The radio was not working and it came on and off on its own, the entire system was glitchy and the screen was frozen at BMW. Rocco took over after trying the traditional route and thinking that we can't afford to spend that much on this car . He first reprogrammed the unit head and amazingly it worked back perfectly. We paid about 15% of the dealership quote and we had it back. Then after learning that we can upgrade to a full 10 inch screen (she had a 5.8) I decided to give her that as a Christmas gift :) we just did the upgrade a few days ago. My mechanic could not figure out (which was really disappointing) what was causing the short so they recommended me to go here...so I made an appointment. Within 30 minutes of dropping off my car, he found out that it was the fuse box that was causing the electrical short and explained everything to me. After ordering the part and installing it everything is great again. Joe is very thorough with his work, he ran the MBZ Vehicle Diagnostic Report that checks all the modules of the car and gave me a copy of it...all passed. Had a great experience with Rocco's in updating an OEM instrument cluster. The updated cluster is not plug and play and requires both expertise and the appropriate equipment to perform. Another specialty shop tried and failed so I was a little skeptical initially as I didn't want to get my hopes up. Joe is very knowledgeable and outlined what the job likely entailed. I was pleasantly surprised when he let me know that the car was finished. Gas gauge is now working and the SRS light is no longer on. We have a 2015 MB GLC300 that was didn't have Apple CarPlay. Rocco's was able to install the upgrade and provided personal instructions on how to work the system. No new head units were needed. The OEM display remained and a hardwired 3.5mm headphone plug to lightning connector completed the system. All the reprogramming was done in less then three hours. Cost was a bit high but probably about the same as a brand new head unit. read more

Before i bought my car there I was told 2x that if the reprogramming of sirius satellite on my car does not work I will not be charged. However I was still charged! I explained to him that I was told by dealer that my porsche radio losing satelitte service was hardware but he said programming could fix it. No charged but after 2 hours it did not work i was still cherged $150 plus and estimate of $1000 to replace radio module. I would get everything they say in writing before you have your car service there. Now my factory navigation is not working properly due to that re programming. The dealer by the way when they try to re program my sirius satelitte and it did not work did not charged me at all! read more

I needed Sirius installed in my Mercedes CLA 250 after I realized the new MB's do not have an AUX outlet. I found Rocco's on an MB auto blog. I visited their website and was truly shocked at their level of capability in installing features like Sirius, rear cameras, parking sensors etc. They do the install the same way Mercedes would have done it without voiding any warranties. I was in and out in about 3 hours, and the Sirius install cost around $1150 out the door. A little pricy, but well worth it. Oh yah, Rocco's is the only place in CA I could find to perform these services. I drove all the way from San Jose to Costa Mesa and I thank God I did. Rocco's is awesome. Rocco was referred to me by my Porsche mechanic right down the road. I'm so happy Robert told me to go to Rocco's Auto Tech. He assessed my car stereo problem in just a few minutes and was on the phone ordering replacement parts/ new stereo immediately.
