I've been here twice now. The first time, I had absolutely no problems. They installed two 10-inch subwoofers, wired up the amp, added a bass knob, and everything worked exactly the way I wanted. Anytime I had a small issue afterward, they were always willing to help, so I trusted them enough to come back again. The second time, I booked an appointment because I was having an amp issue and also wanted to replace all six speakers in my truck -- the two front door speakers, the two dash speakers, and the two rear door speakers. I specifically paid for JBL speakers all around. I paid $600 cash, which seemed like a fair deal, so I didn't think twice about it. They worked on the truck for about 4-5 hours. When I picked it up, everything sounded fine during the quick test before I left. But once I got home, my buddy pointed out a buzzing noise coming from the passenger side speaker. After taking a closer look with a flashlight, I noticed the speaker said "Rockford Fosgate" instead of JBL. That immediately raised red flags, so I decided to take apart the doors and dash to see exactly what had been installed. What I found was shocking: * Rockford Fosgate speakers in the two front doors * Kicker speakers in the rear doors * The factory OEM Chevy speakers still in the dash None of the speakers matched what I paid for. I went back the next morning and spoke with the owner, Martin. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed his technician and claimed they didn't have the correct brackets for the JBL speakers. Another excuse was that they "meant to tell me" they temporarily installed different speakers until the brackets came in. Honestly, it felt like they thought I wouldn't notice and only changed their story after they got caught. What blows my mind is that they gave the truck back to me knowing the work wasn't completed the way I paid for it. To their credit, they eventually corrected everything and installed the proper equipment, but the entire interaction afterward was uncomfortable. Martin kept giving me attitude and saying things like, "I'm your friend, I'm trying to help you out," and claiming he was giving me an "upgrade." All I wanted was transparency and to verify the parts I was supposedly being upgraded to. In the end, the pricing worked out okay, but the dishonesty and lack of communication completely ruined the experience for me. I should not have had to tear apart my own truck to discover that the products I paid for were never installed. I'll be posting pictures and videos showing exactly what was installed in my truck, including clear shots of the speakers that prove they were not JBLs. BUYER BEWARE...this business may be good at speaker installation but they murdered my headlight wiring to the point that I had to have my full headlight assembly replaced which cost me $$$$. They used speaker wiring for the headlights see below: 1- wood screws used to hold in the headlight bulb making the headlights unrepairable. Also bulb retainer has been removed. 2- very large hole left open in the headlight assembly allowing dust and moisture to enter. 3- factory pigtail has been removed to take power for the new ballast. Home improvement connectors that are not water proof used to connect the new wires. Not only all they did was unnecessary they also made repairs for the future impossible. All I needed was bulb replacement but they put in aftermarket headlights with poor parts that failed and I had to go to 3 different mechanics before I found someone who would actually do the headlights repairs because the work that was done by Z Autosound was so bad!! Exceptional service, attentive staff, and very cheap pricing. I came in here specifically to do an IID install and with little knowledge on what would be done on my car and the process in general. Martin, one of the managers/owners here, helped me out for the most part. He answered every question I have patiently, provided me excellent service, and always tried to schedule me as soon as he can. Amazing customer support. When uninstalling my IID today, him and his team were able to get me out of here within 1.5 hours when initially he said it might take me 2+ hours. On top of that, he updated me on every step of the way. Horrible, took my truck in about a month ago and needs to fix my screen on my truck. They couldn't fix it so they sent it to a guy and charged me $250 to do so. I waited weeks for it to come in and they charged me again to ship it. Horrible service and you should be able to get a refund for not working and the weeks I waited at a time. Wish I could have given them a solid review. Good guys who seemed to want to help but unfortunately came up short. Brought in my truck from a shotty install at another in hopes of getting it tuned/fixed. Spent an hour or so trying to tune and they determined it was a faulty DSP and poor wiring so they recommended leaving it there all day to get it fixed. Received the car back sounding worse than I had brought it in. We tried tuning it via the app but it was late so I took the truck home. I also found that a rear speaker wasn't working so I made another appt and told them car just didn't sound right and speaker wasn't working. After leaving my car with them for half a day again, I was told on pick up that speaker was now working and car was sounding great. Long story short = they never fixed the wiring from the original install. I had polarity issues throughout, - and the center speaker they "upgraded" my truck to was actually a downgrade in which they cut a cheap Alpine Type E around the wing to make it fit in the dash which sounded like horse dung. I paid good money here and I gave them a chance to make it right. Wish they did. edit* if you said you guys spent the time re-wiring the truck with videos, then I would seriously reconsider their employment. at least 4 of the 6 speakers were wired backwards which is why tuning it yielded the same results. I called and left a message so please give me a call when time permits so we can discuss but please don't accuse me of false accusations. read more

I'm a retired audio engineer who designed a large car amplifier back in 1983 and I built all my own systems, however while I was very good at electronic design, I wasn't so good at doing a neat installation. So when it came time to install my dash cams I gave Z Autosound a shot. Martin and his staff did a superb job and it looks like the dash cam including the rear cam were a part of the car. Wow I hit a gold mine, so I came in to get a better headlights on for high beam installed, plus a dashboard, front camera and a back camera installed. They stand behind their work & products! I purchased a stereo system for my car about a year and a half ago, which I have been very happy with. I installed a new battery in my car & noticed that my phone wasn't syncing to the stereo system any longer. I called to ask the process to re-sync the phone to the stereo & they said to bring the car in. When I arrived, the owner remembered my car & name! It turns out that there was a stereo part that needed to be replaced in order to get the stereo to work again. They replaced the part for free, helped me sync my phone & sent me on my way in less than an hour. I appreciate their honesty & was grateful they didn't charge me more to get the stereo working. I purchased a hideaway subwoofer a while back , sounded very nice gave that little extra kick i wanted , long story short the boom boom stopped working , i was bummed out , walked in one day around noon , he was busy (figured) but it was all good , we made an appointment, sure enough day of he got me in quickly took a minute to pin point the problem , and problem was resolve and now i have that bass and they even tuned the amplifier. One guy, the installer, was a cool person. System installed sounds great. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was because of time. We needed a system installed on certain time, which was time guaranteed and it didn't happen. it took all week to make it happen. They had an extra hand there at one point to grab pieces that were supposed to be delivered and didn't happen, so they COULD HAVE picked up the piece(s) that were not far away for the pick-up, but the available hands did not want to go to complete project, poor customer appreciation. Seemed also Installer was the salesman also. Installer - make sure you got everything for the complete install. and don't overlap projects, plan them. get them done. you'll be good. Sales rep - not sure who it is. but get someone, not the installer, that has time to sell and tend to customer. lots of time is tooken away from the installs that are suppose to be complete in timely matter. read more

My husband and I took my car in for a new stereo to Z Autosound and Martin was very helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. We left my car overnight so that first thing next day they would start working on it. When my car was ready for pick up I showed up and Martin was not working that day. Someone else was there and I was unsatisfied with the stereo. There was nothing wrong with it but it was just not what I was expecting, I didn't like the way it looked and that the screen was plastic. The person there was not helpful and had no customer service! I left very upset! Not even 5 minutes passed and I got a call from Martin. He apologized for his co-worker and offered to switch the stereo for one of my preference free of charge. Which I accepted and I am very pleased with! The guys at Z Autosound Plus worked their magic. I have a 2007 IS250 and just recently bought a Dash Kit off Ebay that no one had locally. I had a plan where i was going to just buy piece by piece and have everything installed once i got all the parts (Head unit, amp, subs, and speakers). Last friday (03/16/2018) i went in to just get a head unit, but there was so many good deals i ended up getting everything i wanted under the budget i was willing to spend for some bass. The guys were very informative and very helpful. Answered all my questions with ease. Never forced anything upon me. Upgraded some parts at little cost and some free of charge as well. I walked out with a Pioneer Head Unit, two pioneer speakers (which i just gave to my room mate), Two Kenwood Subwoofers, 2000wattt crunch amp, a 8 Guage wiring kit (He upgraded the 8 guage kit to a 4 guage kit at no cost) and a Box for the subs(The box was actually too big for my car and they didnt have any other small boxes in stock. So they told me to hold on to it until i got it installed by them and they will swap it out to a "Mustang Box" as they call it ) The following Wednesday (03/21/2018) I take a break from work at the office. I go in around 10:00 AM with my delivered Dash Kit i got from eBay and all of the parts i bought from them to be installed. The main guy at the front was a man of his word and swapped out the box for the Mustang Box no hassle. Then realized it would sound better with the ported one at no extra charge. Left my number with them to call me when it was finished. They called me around 1:30pm telling me my car was done and it sounded great. Picked up my car when i was off work at 3:30pm talked to me about what they did and how they did it. The guy that worked on my car even fixed my shift boot that was loose, and i didn't even mention it to him what so ever. I was impressed i left him a tip before i took off. It's been one week so far with the new head unit and the subs. I tweaked around with the EQ on the head unit to adjust to my liking. But still amazed by the sound and work of the Z Auto Guys. With all those things said. I would come back again soon when i need to get my speakers replaced for sure. read more

I've had an on going buzzing sound coming from my car stereo for quite some time now and I finally took it too Z Autosound. At first we thought I just needed a new stereo system. Before installing it they double checked to make sure the buzzing was coming from the stereo (so I wouldn't be spending any more money then I needed) Turns out it was my amplifier instead. Went to Z Autosound with a few things in mind and everything went smooth. I only asked for 2 amps and a sub. I don't like too much bass and prefer clarity over it. These guys gave me a good price and didn't try to convince me to try and upgrade anything that wasn't necessary. Everything that was installed was Alpine and it sounds amazing. They squeezed me in on a Sunday and even gave me a military discount for being a disabled veteran. I don't remember what the installers name was but big shout out to him, he tuned the stereo and amp for the best performance! Thanks once again. Will be coming back for future installs. read more
