Went in on Tuesday, he took his time and went over all options for me, and gave me his recommendation for what would look closest to how the wheels looked from the factory. I went with his recommendation. Wednesday morning he texts me saying it's done. I show up and the car looks amazing. The wheels look as close to factory as possible without having Lexus do it for an arm and a leg (and done in 24 hours!). I couldn't be happier and highly recommend his services. Gavin gave me two options initially, and I chose the second option replacing front right light with a used light and repairing the fender. Long story short, repairing the fender (making a bracket and welding) was done in same day, but due to ordering the wrong light twice and/or his incompetence dealing with tesla light programming, it took 1 week and 2 days to get my car back with me getting and delivering him the used light with matching part number myself. He kept blaming on the wrong used light that he ordered and kept being rude, whining to me about his time and money lost working on my car, telling me he is doing me a favor when it was his incompetence in ordering the right part or programming tesla light the whole time. I got sick and tired of hearing this BS (felt like he was a customer complaining) so much that I decided to not come back anymore and will go to a different PDR shop in the future. At one point, he requested I need to make an appointment at tesla so he can bring his car there. Second used light he ordered is "DOT 1077372-00-K", and my original light is "DOT 1077372-00-L". According to tesla and from my research, both lights are compatible, but he could not figure it out and at the end, he told me he needs exactly the same part which according to his words, he took a whole lot of time calling and searching for it. It took me 10 min to find whole bunch of them used and took me 30 min to locate the one that I can pick up locally (1hr 30min away) that worked after 5 min after I brought it to him. I wish he just told me the part number in the beginning, and I ordered it myself as if I did it, it'd be done in one day without all of his whining. His final bill was about $240 higher than the estimate as he added tech bill for $240 (he called tesla tech at one point that didn't go anywhere). After I came home, I also noticed one bolt with a washer below my wipers that he is not replying to me if it's from my car and noticed the upper tub under the hood was not clicked in properly. I was very frustrated, but I still was not going to leave a bad review for him considering my past experience, but as soon as I noticed he is ignoring my texts about the bolt, that was it. I won't go back even regarding this bolt that I have no idea where it came from. He never apologized to me even once during this whole time. His attitude was the opposite. Not sure what changed him.

This is typically a 30-minute job at most, yet I was charged $160, and the car still wasn't ready over two hours later. What made this worse is that no price was given upfront before the work started, which is completely unacceptable. When I raised my concerns, instead of accountability or an apology, I was met with pushback. Jeff, as the owner, I would expect better transparency and professionalism--especially toward a repeat customer. Charging premium prices without disclosure and failing to deliver timely service is not okay. This was an extremely bad experience. I won't be coming back, and I'll be advising friends to take their business elsewhere. Jeff, I welcome a public response explaining why no estimate was provided and why a simple wheel swap took over two hours... an apology is absolutely owed here.

Still, they told me it could not be patched and that I needed to buy a used tire instead. Since I was already there and the work needed to be done, I ended up paying $60 for a used tire. What disappointed me most was that I originally thought I would be able to keep my old tire and take it home, because I believed I could patch it myself and keep it as a spare. In the end, that was not how it worked. Their used tire replacement process meant they kept my original tire and gave me another used tire in exchange. So it did not really feel like I was simply buying a used tire for $60. It felt more like I was trading in my old tire, which did not even have a hole that obvious to me, and still paying $60 on top of that. The service was done quickly, but the overall experience left me feeling less satisfied than before. Of course, my luck struck and the convertible top stopped working today, which made accessing the rear window extremely difficult since it couldn't be put halfway down. To make matters harder, there are two tabs on each side that make getting into the corners almost impossible (see picture). Lino was super upfront and explained that without the top opening, it would be a tough job and he couldn't guarantee a 100% bubble-free installation. But after about three hours, it came out perfect! He pointed out a few tiny imperfections that will dry up and disappear as it cures, but reassured me that if anything is still there after a week, I can just bring it back and he'll fix it. What impressed me most is that even though the original quote assumed the top would come down to make the labor easier, he didn't charge me a dime extra for the additional effort. I highly recommend Top Tint Shop! They are super honest, friendly, and skilled at what they do. Plus, the waiting room is really comfortable, featuring a big puffy leather couch and complimentary snacks. I'll definitely be back to bring my wife's car to get the side windows tinted as well.

I was unfortunately late by 30 minutes, so I waited for two people (I think they both had alignments too?). However I was out by 90 minutes from start to finish. I think they spent about 30 minutes or less on my car which is pretty fast from my experience. They didn't scratch the rims (19 inch staggered wheels like rear 255/35R19) They used torque wrenches. Tires are well balanced using hunter road force balancer and I didn't notice any wobbling or roaring. I'll be back and on time for my other cars :)

Please stay away from this place if you want to have properly running rims. They have intentionally sold me wrong sized wheels and without telling me drilled my wheel hubs. But that is not the only issue I had with their wheels. I have purchased wheels and tires from them a month ago. Right after installing the wheels, I started getting a really bad vibration while going 70mph. When I came in the first, they told me everything is fine and that they just forgot to properly balance the wheels so they offered me a free rebalance. Nothing has changed after that, so I gave them a call and they said there is no way something could be possibly wrong and send me to another wheel balancing place. Nothing has changed, so I came back to main sound and that's finally when they told me they forgot to put center hub rings on my back rims. That has fixed my first vibration issue. 2 weeks after I started feeling another vibration that has slowly started building up. I have went to a different balancing place and when they took 1 of my wheels off, that's when they brought to my attention that they gave me wrong PCD size wheels. I called Joe on the phone and he claimed many times that the rims were 5x112. I came in the shop the next day and that's only when he told me they were a different PCD size. They refuse to refund even just the wheels and only offered me a replacement giving me only 1 option of rims that were way cheaper and not anywhere close looks wise. read more

What a cool experience! I don't know much about this stuff so i was a lil worried about walking in to a shop and getting swindled but Joe really made me feel at ease! I was expecting to pay so much more for the wheels and tires on my truck (based on quotes from other shops) but Joe put a package together that saved me so much money that I ended up getting wheels, tires and a cool stereo upgrade! If you only need helpful info come here, if you're ready to buy somewhere else COME HERE and see if they can save you some $$$$$.. They also do finance! Dont worry about your credit situation.. This is the rule of thumb here, if a dealership financed your car MAIN SOUND will finance your wheels and tires. Ask for Joe or Adam, they will hook yo up! read more

Shopped around for new audio system for my jeep wrangler. The full experience in the shop was amazing. We first decided on a package for the budget I had in mind 4 speakers and 1 sub-woofer for under the seat. While the guys were working on it, one of them brought to my attention that I might not be satisfied with sub-woofer being placed under passenger side seat. We ended up changing with a bigger sub-woofer and a bit bigger box and placed it in the back and also added two amplifiers. The whole process took about 4 hours. Results? way beyond my expectations. Just great service from top to bottom. Joe the manager has many financing options so you can get those rims and tires and look good on the road again! My ride share business has literally doubled since the Jeep looks better now and I can't tell you how many people complement theses rims and tires! Most of all ask questions about the products that you think would be the best for you and Joe and his team will get it right! My. I came in yesterday because I needed to replace my tires since the thread was around 1 mm. Joe showed me the tires he had in my tire size and was extremely helpful in ordering the set of tires that I had in mind since he didn't have them in stock. They came in the very next day and Joe and his team were able to switch out my old tires for the new ones within the hour. Many of my friends told me to come to main sound to get my windows tinted. I just got them done at main sound and it added a sleek touch to my car. Black tires black car and best of all dark tint. One thing this place has down: consistency in the quality of their work. I brought in a Honda Odyssey to Joe to have the radio swapped out for something simple but newer. Amazing service and price, I needed my windows tinted ASAP since I was driving out of town. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and it only took 2hrs for the tint it to be completed. I came here to get my windows tinted and was treated like a valued customer. The guy who tinted my windows did a very good job and treated my car very well. I'm very happy with this place and would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to get their windows tinted. I am writing this to warn other consumers about my experience with Stereo Blvd. I paid $2,800 on 10/25/2025 for work that was never completed. As of March 2026, the owner (Hank) still refuses to refund my $1,800 balance and has tried to delay and postpone to complete the work on my vehicle for 5 months. According to the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), this business is operating on a CANCELLED license (see attached screenshot from DCA archives showing it was cancelled in 2009). Additionally, they are performing tire and rim installations without the required Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) registration. A formal state investigation is currently active with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS Case #252602346). BAR (The Bureau of Automotive Repair) complaint confirmation reference number 65CF-MQX7MX for performing Wheel/Rim without license. Please verify any business license at search.dca.ca.gov before handing over your money. Do NOT make same mistake like mine and DO NOT believe in the owner's sweet talk but DO your thorough research and shopping ahead. ***UPDATE: In his response, the owner blames my Tesla's "16V lithium battery" for his failure. This is a massive red flag for any EV owner. The 16V system has been the standard in Teslas since 2022. By blaming the battery now, he is admitting he lacked the basic technical knowledge to work on my car, despite luring me into a $2,800 "parts deposit" by claiming he had done many of these before. A true professional would know that specialized EV audio components (like Alpine's Tesla-specific kits) are designed for this exact voltage. He took the money for a job he wasn't qualified to perform, stalled for weeks, and still hasn't provided a refund. Stay away if you own a modern EV. ***Now since I have filed complaint with California Bureau of Household Goods and Services and Bureau of Automotive Repair, the owner Hank response with "wait and see" attitude rather than issuing me the refund!

It was put right in the middle of my windshield, which caused quite a visual distraction, and depending on who tells you, could be against California code regarding dashcam placement. When I got home, I repositioned the camera to one of the spots recommended by the manufacturer, next to the rearview mirror and out of direct line of sight. Another questionable choice, they cut a slot into the plastic that covers my cruise control wires instead of routing cables through the already present gap between the rear view mirror and plastic cover. This could be on me as well, as I never discussed preferred camera position with the business. I took a picture of the cut they made, as well as a picture with a red X to show where the camera was originally placed. Those choices, while a bit puzzling didn't really bother me enough to go back as ultimately I wanted my camera to be properly connected, and cables nicely routes and invisible. Newport Sound did all this perfectly and I am very happy with that. While this won't stop me from coming back myself, it is worth noting for other potential customers.

The job for both vehicle looks good, and were done at a reasonable time (2 hrs for the Q4 with 1 person and 2.5 hrs for the S3 with 2 person). Customer service is outstanding also, I had multiple reschedules and they were understanding and gave me no issues about it. Definitely recommend and I am forever a loyal customer to this location for future projects.

It seemed like his brain couldn't fathom the possibility, and he just was stubborn enough to cost them a sale. I've done a ton of research and was planning to use it for an outdoor system that I have. I was planning to supply it with sufficient wattage of 12 V DC power, which is the same as a car battery, and I was going to put a fuse on it just like you would in a car. I also checked the speaker impedances, the gauges of the wires, and I know the max power that I could put through the speakers. I also didn't say anything about warranties or anything like that, so there was no reason why they didn't sell me the parts. He didn't mention any reason why he wouldn't provide the info, he would just comment that I should go look elsewhere, which was really bizarre if I was only on the phone with him for about two minutes. They should remedy their staffing issues.
