Things in the store are pricey and as well as pet care, especially for fish such as bettas and goldfish are VERY outdated. If you didn't do research before going there to get a pet, the owner isn't much help because of all the misinformation that is given. There is absolutely no credit given to anyone in the store. Things in there can DEFINITELY be done better and it seems as if they owner doesn't even know what they're doing because of all the misinformation and lack of research. I've been there twice. I bought a few fish and all were skinny and starving. They even sold me baby fish. Which is awful considering not many people know what they're doing if they're a first time pet owner. They should hire people that know what they're doing and re-model their store. Everything in there is outdated. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. Any big chain pet store takes better care of their animals than this store does. By far.

They also feature adoptable kittens from SPCA, who are always surrounded by boys and girls and woman, cooing over the cute babies. They offer a grooming and washing for dogs. Great variety of animals too. I adopted a cat from there recently. it was hard to just pick one, the cats are all so beautiful…read moreand good natured. The people there truly treat the cats as their own. They are obviously well loved and cared for. They also take the hard luck cases that other shelters won't. They work hard with the feral cats to get them socialized and ready to go to a good home. The new regulations the state has come up with are going to be financially challenging to any shelter, and especially so for the smaller ones. Any donations to them would help, they are not as well known as the bigger shelters and get overlooked at funding time. Volunteers are always needed, and it's a great way to interact with and socialize with the cats.
