0 stars. Came in to get a Gel x set. She was using the filing machine so hard she was burning my skin underneath my nail. When she put on the actual nails she did such a sloppy job they were already falling off or lifting by the cuticles on my thumb to where she had to pry off the gel x nail from my real nail continuing to pull my actual nail and hurt me. Anytime I told her to fix something (politely) or to stop cause it was hurting she would just say it's ok and be dismissive. After an hour of me sitting there and no real progress and her rudeness I told her I cannot pay $110 for this service for nails that will most likely not even last a day nor were they on right. She then proceeded to cut the gel x nails to the length of my nails and got in an argument and I left so I basically had clear plastic nails on 7 of my nails and 3 without. Also tried to blame me for why the nails weren't on right when I was perfectly still and my phone was on charge so I had zero distractions and wasn't the reason the nails were lifting. Horrible service. I get my nails done every 2 1/2- 3 weeks and never ever have I experienced this. read more

ZERO stars!!! Read the reviews first (I wish I had) but mostly the owner's snarky responses on Google where she blames and gaslights you and says it is a "miscommunication!" I am visiting NYC and saw this place as my nail was badly splitting. I asked them to repair it for me, because it was splitting sideways across the bed. They said yes and it all started fine. But the nail tech never spoke to me and instead the owner did all the talking. She was clearly not qualified which makes sense why she hovered. The tech almost ripped my nail off with the drill, until the owner told her to be careful and she then calmed down and used a different efile and then used a buffer. It is now "fixed," but the shape is different, and there is an obvious dent in it. It is also crooked. I asked if she could file one little edge off on the other side and instead she painted over it (but only half??). When it was time to pay, I then asked if I could have the cheap disposal nail file she used if they throw them away anyways (my usual nail tech always offers it to me because they discard them) and her attitude came out and she said, "why do I have to give you it, we only fixed one nail?" and she shot me a dirty look. First, I just asked because most CLEAN places throw them out after. She was immediately rude then started talking and laughing about it with her staff. And, It still has a snag, why I nicely asked for a file to fix the sloppy work. I wasn't going to complain but then she gave me attitude. There is a reason this place is empty!!!! Service is bad and attitude is too! Go somewhere else with more experienced techs and reputable friendly owners. Do not waste your time or money here - I get my nails done every 3 weeks and the place I usually go to was booked so I tried to go here instead since I was under a time constraint. I paid $150 for gel extensions (plus $30 tip so total of $180). This was by far the worst set I've ever gotten. Within 3 days, one of the nails cracked off. They don't do anything a normal manicure do like cut the cuticles, etc. And the extensions they put are are crap quality. It's now been exactly 8 days since getting them and 3 nails have cracked off. I had never been here before/ was looking for new salon. Went on Sat. around 5 p.m.- salon was quiet and clean. Charged $58.00 for a regular pedicure- was told II'd be charged for gel removal, and assumed quick dry included in that price. Price was a complete rip-off given that by the time I walked 15 min. home with flip flops on after quick dry and two cycles on dryer, one big toe had polish completely peeled off, the other wrinkled, and what made it worse is that while i was inspecting all of them I noticed that one of my toe nails was crooked/cut incorrectly. I'm just really disappointed and upset I paid that much for a shitty pedicure- in any other NYC salon that price point demands five stars. Update: Owner's response to post clearly shows ineptitude. I stated that I'm upset about the pricing because of the salon's output- this pedicure sucked, and the photos show it. I tried to be nice, even COVID nice, however it is what it is. Worst eyelash experience ever! PLEASE do not get your eyelashes done here. I asked for volume and showed them my current volume lashes and they guaranteed to provide the same looks did that the technician was certified . One week later I was ready for my fill, they had to remove my current lashes and add a new set,2 hours later I opened my eyes to witness such a poor and horrible volume set with glue all over the place. I was so sad and kept asking if the lash technician knew what she was doing and fix the glue everywhere, since it was late and they where closing the tech left before I paid. This whole thing was just to strange. The next day I came back in as this was not the look I saw them and they guaranteed to provide, I asked them to please fix it as I noticed clumps of fans glued to more then 2 of my natural lashes which was uncomfortable. I settled for a classic set which still took 2 1/2 hours , longer then the volume set and still looked horrible. I honestly do not believe the young lady is certified at all. Don't waste your time here. My friend and I walked in on a Sunday afternoon together asking for 2 manicures. It seemed a little busy but they said to sit down and wait. They didn't say how long they expected it to be or that we wouldn't both be getting our services as the same time. I had my nails done by someone I think might be the manager. She was brusque, very rough with me (she kept my arms extended such that my hands dangling off the opposite edge of the table in order to work), outright ignored me when I told her twice to only trim hangnails - she nodded and continued to clip my cuticles all the way around and with such haste and disregard that I am a person that I had to point out when my cuticles started bleeding. She waved me off and said it's ok!, and dabbed some blue stuff on it. My friend just sat waiting as my mani was almost finished before a tech finally got to her. The paint job was messy, careless, and very rushed. The topper was her screaming to other employees to do things for the majority of my torture while I studied an ironic sign they posted on their walls reading, "Please keep your voices down in consideration of other guests." I came in for a gel mani & pedi for Christmas since i was going to be traveling for New Years. I was here on the 24th. I traveled out of town for the holidays and on 26th, all the gels were peeling off. I have gone there for years and it's never been a problem. To make sure it was time stamped since I would not make it back into the city, I took photos so you could see that in less than 24 hours, it peeled off on almost every nail. I got back to city for 3 hours before my flight and stopped by salon to show owner my nails and my photos. I said I didn't have time to have them redone and the owner said "oh of course I will give you gel mani when you are back from you trip". I asked, to you want to send me these photos or do you want to write it down? And she said no of course i remember you and will remember when you come back. I returned to NY this week and I came in for a mani today. When I reminded her of this issue - she got infuriated in front a full salon yelling that it has been months since I came and "don't ever do this to me again, you lied, etc". I told her that I assured her it was right before Christmas and reminded her exactly of the convo that we had in person when I dropped in before flight. I just pulled the photos out of my deleted folder (which wouldn't even still be saved if it was over 2 months ago since in happened since they delete in 30 days). Another woman in salon followed me out and said - I don't know why I come here, it's nice to have a neighborhood spot but that owner is so rude and disrespectful so it's not an isolated incident.
