Food is absolutely spectacular no matter what you get. The only thing that would make Spatola's better is if they delivered.

Spatola's used to be my family's go-to pizza place back in the early 2000's. Recently, I've been able to satisfy my pizza cravings elsewhere. Here's why: PRICES: Everything seems a tad overpriced to me. Although I understand that it can be expensive to make pizza in the most authentic way possible (believe me, I've tried), the prices are way more competitive at other local pizza shops. QUALITY: The food quality has decreased. I remember Spat's being the only place you could get a good pizza pie and it not be your typical big greasy slop of mess pizza. Now you order from here and risk paying money for a burnt pizza, which has happened to me on the few occasions I've returned. A big turn off for me is burnt crust. Yuck. The pizza doesn't do anything for me anymore. STAFF: The ladies are very nice. I've never experienced rude or "incompetent" (sheesh, harsh much?) service from them. The staff part about Spatola's that really freaks me out is the men in the back who hit on the lady customers. A guy once looked at my aunt like she was a piece of meat, and he was really obvious about it. Makes me sort of lose my appetite. DELIVERY: There is none. The saving grace for this place is the delicious Italian hoagie I've had on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, though, it's not enough to bump my rating up to 3 stars, seeing as its the only thing I find appetizing on the menu anymore. read more

Stopped in here yesterday for a couple slices, for the first time. This is the last pizza joint in Chalfont we have yet to try. Whenever we drive by, there is always a decent amount of cars in the parking lot and there is always a cop here, so I think this is the borough's go to pizza joint. I had placed my order and realized I forgot my wallet! The very nice girl behind the counter said "no problem" and said I could pay next time and still served me my food. Very trusting person and after I ate, I ran home and came back to pay. I thought that was a very cool thing to do and to keep the sale rather than turn me away. The pizza was good, thin, crispy crust and good cheese/sauce ratio. The flavor was really good on everything. I will want to come back to try again and maybe a cheesesteak too since I typically try pizza and steaks at every pizza joint in town. read more

Some changes to the new menu that I have to give thumbs down to...but that's just personal opinion. Ordered a cheeseburger for lunch on Friday...cooked medium rare, with shredded lettuce (stressed the shredded lettuce)...what I got was more of a cold hockey puck with a big piece of lettuce. Was over cooked even if I had requested well done, I was charged .50 cents for the lettuce that wasn't even shredded. Cheese was not melted, which leads me to believe that I received a left over burger sitting on the grill after lunch rush. Disappointed, I used to love spatolas burgers. read more

I'm not from the area but anytime I find myself in Chalfont I make it a point to stop at Spatola's for lunch. I particularly love their chicken Caesar salad - the lettuce is always fresh and crisp and the chicken is savory and perfectly cooked. As I sit at Spatola's listening to the joyful banter from the guys in the kitchen I feel that cozy family-owned pizza place sort of feel and I smile. read more

Spatola's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Chalfont, Pennsylvania

Since they reopened the new place is soooooooo nice! Still the best pizza around, just in an updated building :)

Great pizza, garlic knots, cheese steaks, and pasta! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Delicious pizza, AWESOME calzones! They usually have coupons in the menu too, which is a bonus... I have, on more than one occasion, gotten there after I called an order for pick up and it hasn't been made. They turned it around FAST though. Easily the best pizza in the area. read more

Love it here. One of the better pizza places in the area. Big fan of the "Trenton" style square pizza

Never had a problem with a quick slice from Spatola's years ago. Not a wholt lot of choices around here - but there are better (and worse) places to grab some garlic knots and a slice or two. No issues from me. read more

Every time I come in the staff and Spatola family are so friendly and the food is DELICIOUS. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed read more

The pizza was good but I got soup for my one year old son and I'm 100 percent sure it was progresso from the can lol. Not worth paying for that read more

Still the best in the area. Trenton is amazing, buffalo chicken pizza is incredible. Great cheesesteaks and strombolis. Love the sitting area now as well. read more

So sad. Used to love this. Friday 10-2 called they said 75 minute wait. I should have ditched it but they have not let me down in the past. When we got, 5 minutes early, there a good 10 minute wait and got home to a stone cold pizza. If you call and they tell you more than 20 minutes, go somewhere else. All I wanted was a good, hot pizza. And I was willing to wait. And to management, next time tell the customer we can't deliver quality. I would have been a lot more respectful if you had been honest of that statement. Kind of like calling a restaurant and they say, no reservations. read more

The food is ok. But the service is awful. Will never, ever go back. This is the third time I've be been here since the reopening. Tonight's service was so horrible that I will never return. It's a shame that a business has to suffer because of an awful server, but they didn't seem to care or apologize when they were told. read more

First time back at Spatolas for me since remodeling and I have to say it's much better. Food, ambiance, and overall service to me has improved greatly! My fiends and I got calamari, cheese fries, onion rings, and a classic margarita pizza, overall great for the price! New building looks great and the food is good for reasonable price. Would recommend. read more

Best pizza in the area and it's not even close. During their rebuilding my family was miserable trying to find our pizza fix. Pizza is great and now a great spot to take small kids for a quick low key family meal. read more

Best pizza in Chalfont! It's our go-to place for Italian takeout. Hoagies are very good, and the cheesesteaks are great. I was even impressed with the chicken Caesar wrap - it was a good portion with really nicely grilled chicken. They also have the BEST fries! They're thick-cut and crispy (my favorite!) Heads up though, if you're ordering takeout on a Friday, expect to have to call multiple times. They get so busy on fridays that I guess they can't keep up with the phones, but it's not a problem for me. read more

Ordered four steak sandwiches in October, $45, nothing special, waited 45 minutes for pickup, tried to use a coupon for $5 off that was on the takeout menu, counter person first said it was okay, then refused to allow me to use it. Overpriced meh. read more

I visited for the first time with my family last night. It had a really nice, inviting atmosphere for a pizza place. Our waitress, Nicole, was friendly & did a great job. My mom & I split the grilled pear & Gorgonzola salad, which was delicious. We had a pizza with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella & garlic, which was awesome with great, crispy crust. My dad also ordered a traditional personal pie, which he said was as good at Mack's on the boardwalk. All around good experience. Will definitely go back. read more

Best pizza in the AREA! Terrible news, Spatola's burned down last night (Wed 10/4/17) I really hope they rebuild. The BEST! Had my last half onion/half anchovy pizza this past Sunday 10/1/17 read more

The food is mediocre at best. Ordered for pick up and wanted to pay ahead of time over the phone and the girl taking my order sighed in frustration. I didn't want any contact through payment with COVID going around. very rude. Cheesesteaks were soggy and bland. No flavor at all. The pizza we got was over cooked and burnt. I won't be back. read more

love this place! The owners are 3 brothers right from Sicily. They keep their pizzas as genuine and traditional as possible. You can't go wrong with a plain pie, but if you'd like a change I'd recommend the Margherita, Trenton, or buffalo! As far as non-pizza items I recommend: the Rambino (spinach salad) or chicken melt panini (also can be made as a wrap with fries. Workers are friendly and fast. Other reviews have really put the girls down but they work hard to get the pick-out customers in and out and home to enjoy their food! FYI, I've learned that the tip jar goes to men, not the girls at the counter. Both deserve tips, just be aware of who you're tipping! This place is worth a try- you'll be hooked! NOTE: other Spatola's (there's about 10) were previously owned by these owners but have been sold. Besides the name, they are no long we affiliated with this location. Their Chalfont location is their only one, and this one has the most genuine taste of Sicily. read more

I went in and ordered a spinach roll. When I arrived home to eat it it was not cooked. All the dough on the inside was not cooked. Never again will I go there. Needless to say I threw it away. The spinach was also not cooked. Put in raw and was like cooked dried up lettuce. read more

Updating : Quality has stabilized when you go at a time where the A-Team is on. Their fries are delicious... but I digress. Their counter staff (high school girls, paid under the table) are less than enthusiastic however deal with quite a bit in regard to their place of employment. Service is prompt. Women, expect leering. If you understand spanish? Well, you'll either be extremely flattered (if you're into that kinda cat-calling, sexualized pizza experience ) or very uncomfortable (if fall into the latte). I won't go in here, if I can avoid it. . I send my boyfriend, or anyone willing to cross the threshold of pizza perversion..also, I recommend that if you do enter, you stick to a modest attire. .something from 19 kids and counting would be ok, with only your wrists and ankles showing ( you saucey devil, you)..channel your inner puritan and you may have hope of leaving with a shred of dignity.. I'll be dammed if their garlic knots don't make this a conundrum though... read more

I was going to this place almost every Wednesday for lunch since that is my day off. ( average bill was $20.00 ) also I have a family of 6 and we ordered from here at least every other week. ( average bill was around $70 ) The food is good here but my last experience with the lady behind the counter ( I think the owners wife ) will make me go elsewhere from now on. My bill came out to $30.04 ( added another item for my wife this time) and I handed the lady $30 while dipping in my pockets to look for change for the extra 4 cents. She said " you don't have 4 cents?" After that I handed her another $10 bill and she proceeded to break the $10 bill I handed her just to give me back my $9.96 change. Sorry Lady but I am a small business owner for nearly 20 years and that 4 cents just cost you quite a bit of money long term since I am also in the customer service business. I would never do that to a client/customer in a million years ....especially when you keep a tip jar on the counter that I always put a very good tip into as well. I will definitely be telling friends and clients to go elsewhere from now on. Hope that 4 cents really helped you out! read more

There are many better options in the area. The service has always been sub par, the pizza tastes like cardboard and the prices have increased steadily over the past year or so. We've had issues recently of them messing up our order completely such as giving us a round pizza after ordering Sicilian or putting ingredients on hoagies that either we didn't ask for or weren't even part of the actual hoagie. The cashier girls, who, on average, seem to work there for a week or two at the most, are rude and incompetent at taking even the most simplest of orders. There are so many better options that are close. Randazzos, Pasta Mista, Daniels, Dominic's, etc. Go elsewhere. read more

Been going here since I moved to PA. Love the food, the family is usually there & always offer entertainment. Was worried after the fire, but they rebuilt & came back even stronger! Love their variety & special pies....best pizza in the area in my opinion. Also love their Buffalo chicken cheesestakes! I will drive out of my way to grab a slice of theirs. read more

Worst service ever. Waitress was completely rude in front of my kid and it took 40 mins for our slice of pizza to come out. Sat down at a dirty table as well. Won't ever be back! Have never been treated so poorly by wait staff in my life! On top of it all every time she came out of the kitchen she had a mouthful of food. Gross. We had to hunt down our own ketchup, cheese and silverware. Spoke to women at front and not even an apology. Not one person cared or even tried to fix situation. The only person who was helpful was busser, he Atleast offered to refill our empty drinks. read more

The worst pizza I've had in a very long time. You'd be better off sticking a frozen pizza in the oven. Do yourself a favor and call Dominos

I seriously don't understand what all these negative reviews are about. This is my favorite place. First, let's talk about these cheesesteaks. Spat's literally has the best cheesesteaks I've ever had. I even like them better than Steak and Hoagie Factory. They're AWESOME. They're hot, full, and just all around amazing. Now, I have NEVER received a slice of pizza here what was even slightly burned. It's always perfect when I come here. The sauce and cheese taste and ratio are just right. I can't tell you about the fancy stuff though, because I only eat plain pizza. The guys behind the counter are always nice to me, but seriously, I spend enough money here that they already know what I want when I come in. I have heard of the guys behind the counter being rude though. I can't say enough good things about this place. I love it and it's super convenient to work. My out of town colleagues love it when I bring them here, and the food is just all-around amazing. read more

Not understanding what all the excitement was about when they reopened. Tried it last night... probably one of the blandest piazzas ever... absolutely minimal sauce. Very disappointed...won't recommend or return read more

Has been there forever. Pizza is never reliably good. When it's good, it's delicious. When it's not so good, it's terrible. Usually greasy. Normally I don't blot my pizza with napkins but I always have to when I get spatolas. Good if your only dropping in for a slice and some garlic knots. read more

Maybe they have good pizza, but their wings are something left to be desired. We ordered 24 take out hot wings. Got home and upon opening the box, discovered naked wings.
