Nice little suburban pizza place with a bar. I stopped in to try the pizza because it was recommended to me by friend. We happen to stop in and they must have been have trivia night because a lot of the tables were reserved which means this must be a happening place. The waitress was very accommodating and seated us at a table and said don't rush but they were expecting more people by 7pm. They have plenty of TV's to watch multiple sporting events, great for sports fans. The pizza was delicious, service was great as everyone was happy and friendly, I would recommend this place to friends and family... I will be visiting regularly. read more

I came here with my friends after their kids soccer game near by. They raved about the place so I had high hopes. It started off good as they had a large craft beer list. We ordered a pizza that said it came with hot peppers. When it came out it was just large piles of crushed red pepper flakes. I like crushed red pepper on my pizza but I like it spread evenly on my pizza. My wife had one bite of the peppers and couldn't taste the rest of her pizza. Dominick's has always been a go to pizza when I'm back home from school. They are pretty timely for constantly being busy. My absolute favorite pizza to get from them is the white spinach pizza with ricotta cheese. It always comes out consistent everytime I get it. The crust has a perfect mixture between a nice crunch but with soft in the middle. I feel like the spinach and ricotta are always evenly placed om each slice which is a subtle thing that makes this place even better. Much love for this place over the years. read more

I grew up eating here as a kid, but today I decided that I will never come back. I ordered a simple cheesesteak over the phone, and was met with brusque, rude replies--no hello's, thank you's, order time estimate, price--like they had way more important things to do. That was fine, until I ran into a much bigger problem. I walked in to pick up the steak, and was met by Dominick's unwelcoming, racist, toxic alpha-dog staff. In light of the George Floyd protests that were being shown on a TV inside, a white female customer went on a controversial tirade on Floyd, yelling to everyone behind the counter how he deserved his death and vilifying him as a "black thug." The cashier, cooks, and servers in the back laughed in agreement, like smug bullies left to hype each other up in a bullpen, and enabled her to continue with words of encouragement in front of me, the only non-white person in the room. She took her items and began to walk out, but continued her rant towards me as the employees watched and smiled. I wanted to record the interaction, but my heart was pounding out of frustration and disbelief, leaving me frozen and not knowing how to act. I don't want politics to get in the way here--anyone reading this is completely entitled to their own opinion and sure I respect that. But this is a restaurant. Restaurants literally have one job: unite communities through food. Dominick's did neither. They 1) served a god-awful "cheesesteak" (unless you define a cheesesteak as coagulated clumps of cheese whiz and grey meaty rubber jammed into a stale roll bought from a local Dollar-tree, a flavor unsalvageable by even the most obscene amount of ketchup) and 2) were somehow able to make me feel extremely uncomfortable, within a matter of two minutes of me being there to pick up a damn sandwich. I have never lost my appetite so quickly in a restaurant. Personal views aside, what happened in there was unacceptable, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Save yourself time and money by walking to Lucas Pizzeria right around the block instead. Their cheesesteaks and beer battered fries are bomb. read more

Used to be packed for dine in but COVID reduced that. Dino runs a nice place there were they remember the loyal customers. The staff was nice and answered some questions I had about the variety of slices available. The parking lot was full and I noticed a lot of people stop in to pick up their order. I really want to like Dominicks for take out given how close we live to the restaurant but really just can't, their take out is not good at all. I am only giving them 2 stars because we have had good dine in experiences their in the past (but not since covid). Take out has several issues #1- the food is very overpriced...$70 for a couple of pizzas and a cheesesteak/fries is pretty ridiculous. I'm sure the fact that they have a liquor license/bar drives up the cost of their food. #2 - they struggle with quality on certain items, for instance, NEVER order a cheessteak hoagie of any kind here. They put brown lettuce and sandy tomatoes on the bottom of the roll, then the meat/cheese on top of the veggies, then they wrap it with wax paper and then in foil, so by the time you get it home, all the cheese and half the meat sticks to and pulls off with the wax paper and you are left with a super overpriced $9 nasty lettuce/tomato sandwich. Suggestion to Dominicks - PUT THE CHEESE/MEAT ON THE ROLL FIRST, THEN THE VEGGIES PLEASE! That way the wax paper won't pull off all the good stuff!! #3- they guys that run the take out counter are usually super grumpy (and rarely wear a mask, but that doesn't bother me as much as their bad attitude!). The last time I picked up there I said to the guy, how are you doing?, his reply "living a dream since I'm working here dealing with customers like you"...really? Who says that to someone. Have also dealt with other checkout guys at the takeout counter that were equally as rude and grumpy, not just this one time. As I said though, wait staff and food when dining in are considerably better, chicken ceasar wrap is also very good here. read more

Delivery guy is awful. Always very rude and sarcastic. He never knows who the food is for (out of 20 people we don't all know who ordered food). All he answers is I don't know and annoyed that you asked him. I ask what the food is so I can try determing who ordered and acts like you are annoying him. On top of that we got charged delivery fees for EACH ITEM we purchased and then the delivery guy cursed and complained about the tip he got, which was 20%. read more

In our nine years in the area, Dominic's is the best we've found. And there are good places around. But here the combination of crust, sauce and toppings comes together in a really great way. We had wings and pizza delivered. Delivery time was decent for a Friday night. The pizza was ok, but there is no consistency here. If you could have seen the chicken wings that we received tonight, you would never eat chicken wings again. Now...if you've worked in a restaurant, you know how they cook chicken wings. They bake them on a large tray, and put them in cold storage until an order comes up. (They stay there until they sell) So when a wing order comes in, they grab them off the rack, and throw them in the frier. The reason for precooking them is to optimize kitchen time. Everyone is happy because the wings are "done" in 2 mins. BUT, if they don't sell... you could be getting week old chicken wings, that were heated up in the frier. I don't want week old chicken wings. These wings were inedible and even the cat didn't want them...and this was not the first time. Dominic's, you get 2 stars because the pizza is ok...but we will be finding a new delivery place. read more

I used to order from Dominck's all the time -- and was always happy. Last night however was a completely awful experience.I called for a delivery order around 5:15 when my boyfriend and I got home from work. We got 2 salads and an order of the Jack Daniels hot wings. I was told it would be 45 minutes, which I thought was a little long for salads and wings (especially early on a Tuesday!) but was in no rush so let it go. I then asked if I could pay with a CC over the phone, the guy told me yeah but I had to hold on. After I waited on hold for several minutes, they hung up on me. I waited a moment to see if we just got disconnected and they would call back, but no one did. So I called back and they asked why I hung up to begin with, um what?! Anyways, they took my CC and we awaited our food. 45 in passed...an hour passed...90 minutes passed...I finally called back and asked about the status of our order. I got a very short "it's on it's way" and hung up on AGAIN. A few moments later, the delivery driver called me from his cell phone and asked for more specific directions cause "he didn't want to waste his time looking for my house number." 10 minutes later he called back and said he was outside in the parking lot and didn't know what door he was supposed to come to (despite the fact that when I placed the order I specifically gave them the apt # and told them it was the door on the right on the first floor...whatever). We FINALLY got our food and were terribly disappointed...our salads were warm (which was especially disgusting cause they both had meat and cheese on them) and ALL of the cherry tomatos on both of our salads were squished and rotting. The wings WOULD have been tasty, if they weren't ice cold by the time they finally got to us...and were lacking any condiments (no celery, bleu cheese etc that normally come with wings). It was a sad waste of $25. read more

I've known about this place for quite some time, although I do not know if its the same owner as it was 6-7 years ago. For convenience and curiosity I decided to choose this joint over Lucas Pizzeria right around the corner. It seems like a nice, clean area for a quick bite, but I do not see what is so great about the food. I would not waste my time to give it another try.. Old pieces of celery, uncut and unwashed it seemed, that went with the wings. The wings seemed to be cheap quality as well, as might be leftover from earlier in the day. The pizza is less than satisfactory with a well done pie being still mushy and soggy with oil dripping profusely out of the dough. Its nothing special, i would rather make pizza in my own oven at home. 2 stars out of 5. read more
