gluten free Greek Vegi. 10". $18
Tom B.

Generally go to Flying Pie for my gluten free pizza. The website for Sparkys says they make their gf crust in house. They're not made on premises, but brought in. They are fairly good, not great For $18 you get 10 inch gf pizza. Apparently you can pick any specialty pizza and gf it We had the Greek veggie. Garlic ranch sauce, artichoke hearts, olives, feta cheese and pepperoncini Reasonable amount of toppings. Needed more sauce. Biggest issue was the sloppy preparation. Had three pepperoncini rinds as well as another with the full stem attached. Not great Service was friendly

Pizza was okay but the bread and toppings were undercooked. There was a little too many raw onion and peppers on the Midtown pizza, good amount of pineapple on the Hawaiian. Breadsticks barely had any garlic but we're still good. Marinara sauce is not included with breadsticks and is and extra ¢35 extra charge. Our food was ready when we arrived to pick up. Place looks nice and is a popular local spot.

One of the few places open after 9 pm in the pass. Young servers were very friendly and tolerated my call-in order that suffered from terrible phone service. They have a good selection of pizzas for a good price, and serve pizza by the slice until 4 pm or so. We were informed of the Monday special, 1 topping for $12. We got this and chose the classic: pepperoni. They are only doing takeout now due to COVID (probably delivery too). We got our pizza and sat at the 1 table in front. It was a pleasant night and we felt safe eating at night here. The pizza had a thick fluffy crust reminiscent of fresh baked "french" bread at the grocery store. The cheese was thick and gooey. The pepperoni thick cut and amply supplied. We really enjoyed this pizza. We would love to try their special combo pizzas in the future and think this is a great local pizza joint offering variety, good quick service, quality thick pizzas and a good price point.

Gave them two stars which is a direct violation of Yelp policy: rating a biz based solely on their opinion on how well the mandates are being applied. Educate thyself, child. I stop in here now and then more to support a local business and to socialize with friends than anything else. I'm sitting outside, in the fresh air, always at least 6' away from the wait staff. Do I care if they have a mask on? Nope. This is a nice little locally owned and operated business. They have a lot of weird beers (ciders, wines, etc) including some brands that I haven't had since I was in the Navy 60 years ago. They have a funky sort of vibe that I usually don't go for but in their case it just works. They are right on the main drag although the outside seating is off to the side. You can still hang around and watch the world go by, chatting with friends in this very friendly and welcoming environment. Better when it warms up, of course, else you'll find me inside. Sandy is a nice little working class burb in the middle of nowhere between Gresham and Mount Hood. Nice stop over if you're coming back off the mountain.

They have a nice bakery with lots of muffins, scones, and all around sweets and a giftshop with lots cute gifts. We were seated right away in the resturant and given menus. Our table ordered marionberry lemonade which was the perfect amount of tart and sweet. I got the two piece fish and chips but subbed onion rings instead of the fries. The onion rings were good but a little too greasy for my liking. The fish however was really good. They gave me two pretty big pieces and the fresh lemon and tater sauce were the perfect complement. Their coleslaw was also so good. It was not sweet which I appreciate, it was fresh and crunchy with a lot of mayo. My friends enjoyed their sandwiches as well. The BLTA was full of meat and the BOSS move for the Sandy Philly is to get a side of au jus. Great place to stop by and check out!
