This place is a parent paradise! My children (9,7,3 y.o) had a blast! I have to say that the employees were remarkable. Genuine, kind and considerate. I am truly Impressed with their service. The food was decently priced! A huge win for me because I don't feel like dropping an arm and a leg on simple cheese quesadillas. They had a good food selection and options for breakfast as well! We come here regularly because it's so great for my child. The staff is always SO accommodating. One time it was a holiday and all the big kids were there and they noticed I had a smaller child and told me if I wanted to pick another date to some back, they would honor my ticket that day. Another time I booked the wrong time and showed up and they let us in and got us food even though they closed the kitchen and weren't expecting us. Oh my gosh. This place is so much fun. I mean for my kid... cause why would an adult have fun running around an indoor play center? Ok let's be real, this place is fun for a 30 year olds too! We came right when it opened and there were already a dozen families. It's great place before it gets super busy, like 11:30 when big kids wreck havoc. I was hoping staff would be more policing when the older kids would push past the littles. But they didn't/weren't so I had to speak up for a few of the littlest including my son who was ran over more times than once. My husband thinks the pizza looked good but I wasn't paying much attention. The facility itself felt pretty clean and a lot of the parents seem very nice and friendly. I'll definitely love to come back but it's a 45+ minute drive for us. But I do think it's SO worth it! read more

This place is an absolute God send on days we have inclement weather and/or rain. My daughter and niece and nephew LOVE. Their menu has a decent variety of options, and they even have adult beverages for parents to wind down and enjoy while the mini humans play. It is super easy to make reservations, each block of play time lasting 2 hours. The staff has all always been so great, and they have a good routine down for moving the group at the end of their play time out, and getting the next incoming group in; group transitions are smooth and surprisingly quick. I definitely recommend this place to every parent out there; keep this place in mind the next time your kids are bouncing off the walls but are stuck inside because of bad weather. Great place for kids. I brought my 7 and 4 year old boys here and was VERY impressed. It was clean, very friendly, and affordable. My boys could have played all day here. Some of the cool things that make this place stand out from other places are: 1. They make the structure big enough for adults to play with your child, and actually encourage the adults to play with your children so you can supervise them when needed. 2. Bring socks, no outside food, and get here early. This is a clean play area for kids and because it's further out- it's less crowded. I find their rules helpful in maintains a safe place for the kids to play and they have staff checking in through out the play area frequently. The obstacle course is big enough for a parent to help their small toddlers through and there is a designated play room for kids under 2. Their menu option is decent for the amount t of time you plan on staying there-- which caps out at a couple of hours for us. You can leave and come back but we are not that close to take advantage of the full day access. We normally get the hummus plate to share for 2 kids but if they're hungry-- one each. I find the price very reasonable and the staff are friendly. If you forget socks- you can buy them at the counter. Today is our first time here & I must say: I am super impressed!!! My 6 yr old daughter is having a blast! Wipper Snappers is in an industrial building place across from Fred Meyers. Btw, the main entrance is the first drive way on the left! The large play structure has so many activities. I did a little research on their website before coming & wanted to come during the day/time that the back area was open. The back room has 2 inflatable bouncy houses, as well as a small designated area for little kid carts. There's enough stuff here to keep my daughter busy & entertained. I think we've been here for about 3 hours. And for an adult, that feels like forever. But they have free wifi & plenty of places to sit, so I'm chillin. The staff does a great job keeping the whole place clean, from the kids stuff to tables, floors & bathrooms. We haven't tried any food here yet, but next time we come, we will. They have a descent menu, good variety & fair prices. AND, they do carry a nice selection of adult beverages from beers, ciders & wines. If I wasn't on a nutrition kick right now, I could definitely see myself getting a glass (or two) of some wine or mimosas. This place is spacious, well ventilated & fun. I was encouraged to take my toddler here for her birthday today after reading on their website that they require everyone 5yo & older to wear a mask while not eating/drinking, and that they had limited capacity and encouraged reservations. However, after 20 minutes of being there, I became increasingly uncomfortable with the number of adults that were not masked (just looking at their phone, reading a book, or watching & yelling at their kids from the tables, etc). Of the people that were masked, many of them had their mask below their nose. Nothing was enforced. We left less than 30 minutes into our 2 hour reservation. The star is just for the friendly (fully masked) staff who should not be responsible for babysitting adults that can't follow the rules. Alas, we will not be returning. read more

We've been coming here with our kids since they've opened, have had 2 birthday parties here (and soon to be 3rd) and can be found here on a regular basis throughout the year. We love this place! I'm a full time student so often we come so the kids can get out the wiggles while I focus on homework, they have free WiFi and available outlets throughout the facility along the walls for patrons to use. They always are kind and flexible with helping us find a table with in outlet when it's busy as well. And sometimes it is busy, especially on a rainy weekend! Occasionally there will be a wait for a larger table but whenever that happens we are at least set up at some of the comfy lounger chairs and I've never had to wait over 20min for a full size table. They have PRE-PAY punch cards so after so many visits you get a free one, they mark off the ones you've used each time you return. We always go for the punch cards for the best price per visit. The place is SO CLEAN and the staff all friendly! They have staff monitoring play to make sure rules are followed (like using the huge slide properly), but they are not babysitters, so please attend to your children. A few times there's been a pee accident and they close off the area and thoroughly clean it quickly and effectively. The play structure is large enough for adults, and as we've been there I can attest to not even a drop off dust gathering in the play area, I don't know how they keep it spotless but they do! They've had many of the same staff since they've opened, a very low turn over rate, which we always attest to good management and ownership. They seem treat their employees well, and the employees all work well too. They all really are so friendly and the owners are awesome, and we've seen them active in our community as well. They have beer, mimosas, and wine, plus they make excellent coffees at their espresso bar. They are all reasonably priced and will bring it out to your table. The food is pizzas, wraps, salads, and a bunch of kid friendly stuff, whether you want something healthy like hummus and veggies or simple like a hot dog. It's a great lunch menu and they have something for everyone whether vegan, meat eater, or gluten free. We find the prices incredibly reasonable and the quality excellent, the pizzas are really great and sometimes you'll even see people stop in just to buy a pizza to go. The prices for the parties are better than any other kids play area in Portland and this place is much more open. There's a lot of open air in the building, lots of windows for natural light, and it doesn't feel stuffy or dark like other places we've been to. The party service is always great and we've always enjoyed it. We had one during a snow storm one year and hardly anyone came and they were so very kind to gift us a few kids passes in return to make up for several people not being able to come, just because that's they kind of great service they give. The facility has a large play structure that the kids can have fun in for hours. There are scooters and inflatable bounce houses in the back room along with a rock climbing wall. She's not used to being cooped up as long as we were, so Wipper Snappers became her playground. With reasonably priced beer and pizza I admit it became my playground too. Very clean, well laid out. I believe I was there four times and came up with only two things I would like to see there. Toddler potties (low riding toilets or seat adapters,) and bar stool seating on their second floor so adults could view both levels easily while sipping a beverage or eating some pizza. We had a really great time here with our almost-two-year-old. It's nice they have a separate under-two area. He also enjoyed playing on some of the bigger structures. Not a huge menu selection, but adequate for watching your kids play! The staff was very friendly and the facility was generally clean. We were here for about an hour or two on a Thursday afternoon/evening, and it wasn't to crowded... Despite being perhaps the youngest kid in there, I felt my child was safe the whole time and not in any danger of being trampled or knocked about by other kids. My little girl loves this place. My wife and I love this place too. Only $5 for a child for all day and parents are free. Parents are allowed to run and play with their kids also. Super fun for adults with kids. They even have food like Pizza, Chicken Quesadilla's, other foods, soda, water, and good local beer for the dads. Cute little place! Loved it. Came in this weekend with my best friend and our girls. Let the kids run around and tire themselves out! The play area has a great variety of items for the kids to play with. There are bikes, slides, a trampoline and even a rock climbing wall with a list of other fun items! The play structure is about 3 or 4 stories high with a section that's strictly for toddlers 2 and under. That was nice having that for my 1 and half year old to play in. Though, she refused to stay in there and wanted to run around with the older kids. There were some bigger kids in the toddler only section rough housing, which is kind of annoying that their parents weren't paying attention. Would of been bad if they hit a little one. I think the place needs to be a little more strict on that because non of the employees said anything. But probably the reason why they have you sign a waiver when you come in. This place seems great for birthday parties, there was a little room off to the side that was I'm assuming just for b day parties that you could reserve. My only complaint would have to be the fact that this place has no AC. It was supper hot!! Omg, in the winter doing and fall that might not be an issue but summer??? It was boiling in there. No AC, tons of body heat, a hot summer day and open kitchen with them cooking pizza is a bad combo. We didn't eat anything there but did see a few pizzas come out that looked great and smelled amazing! Prices to get in were cheap. Love love love love love this place! So much better than playdate PDX. The price is right and it's a cute although somewhat small little Playhouse for the kids. I wish they didn't charge for infants that aren't big enough to walk but hey they can't be perfect right? My first time coming here was absolutely amazing, five-star worthy experience. There's two young ladies that were working the center and they were so sweet and so helpful and very very attentive to the kids playing and making sure they were following rules and age restrictions for different areas. I really appreciate appreciated this since I was there alone with my infant and my three year old. The next time I came there was two different women working and they were not nearly as attentive or helpful. I think one of them may have been the owner but I'm not positive. They didn't seem to care that older kids were pushing and knocking down little ones and that kids were being rough in the under two-year-old area. Several kids were getting run down knocked over and so many rules were being broken it got ridiculous after a while and we decided to leave. I would say it's a five-star place but depending on what staff is working while you're there you may or may not get a five-star experience. I haven't tried the food or drinks but that'll be for next time. I definitely will be coming back as this is a great establishment read more

Super cool play place. Smaller than the giant Portland competitor but it offers a wider array of activities catering to a slightly younger crowd. Not as cool for the grownups but great for this part of town. This place is really cool. We drove all the way from Portland to check it out on the recommendation of some friends. They have a trampoline and a variety of different activities for kids including some cool go cart type bike things. There's an area upstairs with giant balls, and they still have some big giant slides kind of like Pdx used to but a little smaller. I brought the two-year-old three-year-old and six-year-old and they all had a blast. The grown-up area was cramped with a lot of table shoved into a small area. They clearly were not used to accommodating a crowd as large as the one that had a symbol that day. It was shortly after as snow and I think the kids were kind of trapped at home so parents wanted to get them out right then. The staff was slightly overwhelmed but everybody had a good time. There is a little café but they serve very limited items. If you live on the east side I would definitely give this place a shot if your kids are between the age of two and seven. Wippersnappers is great! I'm used to the huge crowds and high prices of Playdate PDX but this is much more reasonable. Small crowds, good hours, and fair prices for admission and food. If you're in the Sandy are or even Gresham, this is the place to bring your kids. They usually have ESPN or football on the TV and they have beer on tap. Anytime you need to let your kids run while you kick back for a minute, this is the place to go. New, clean/hygienic play structures and a mini rock climbing wall. It's awesome. We love this place! The food is good and the play structure is awesome. They have been continually making upgrades since they opened and I appreciate that they are willing to improve. We go often! I would have given it five stars, except, we recently booked my daughter's birthday party there and I found their pricing strategy to be a bit off kilter. It's significantly more expensive to have a birthday there than it is to just pay for all of the kids coming to come and play, and essentially the only benefits are paper plates, a plastic table cloth, and use of the room for two hours. The price difference for us is going to be about $80 more expensive than if we were to just organize a "play date" and offer to pay for everyone coming. I really think they need to re-think that strategy. read more

* My review is specific to the weekends.* This place is fine on weekdays when it's not packed to the rafters. A couple weekends ago, I made the mistake of coming in on a Saturday morning. It's completely packed, there are 2 birthdays going on, I get it. What I don't understand is why you are letting people in if YOU HAVE NOWHERE FOR THEM TO SIT? A waitlist for a table? No. If you don't have enough chairs to seat people, don't let people pay admission, and then have them stand around by the restrooms. That is not good business. There are even long reserved tables in the main seating area specifically for parties, even though those people already have reserved seating in the party rooms. I used to really enjoy taking my kids here. It's a great place to play on a rainy day and they keep it up nicely. The last time we visited was perhaps 1.5 years ago and things have changed since then that I feel make the experience less enjoyable for adults. When we arrived they "assigned" us a place to sit so that they could deliver food to our table. However, we didn't come to eat there. We just came to play. They now consider themselves a "restaurant" and so you can't bring in any outside food. We used to bring our own food all the time and there was never a problem. They already charge a fair amount to get in the door and then they force you to buy their food which I think is ridiculous. They say it's because they are a restaurant and have to be mindful of allergies but I saw plenty of food in their kitchen containing nuts, gluten, dairy, etc. Let's be real - it's their way of making more $$$. It would be nice if they would relax a little bit, let you bring your own food, provide snacks for those who want them, and let you pick where you want to sit without a seating assignment. read more

I have been searching and bringing my son for indoor playhouses. We have been to PDX Play date, whirggle work, monkey king....J J Jumping, and now here. I have been appreciated for the hardworking and creation the place for kids to have fun and healthy. Whatever I said it's not mean to put down or discourage, but I hope it's should have been improving more and more. The checking in is a bit slow. Customer service is alright. The owner was there maybe. The place has different equipments from the others. However, there isn't enough seat, need more seats. We were standing for a while. The restroom need to keep it clean. Smoking shouldn't allowed next to the front door or close to it, the smoke could have come inside anytime. That's all I experienced that time. read more

Had the worst birthday party experience and customer service experience. (Side note before I write what happened today) we can here about 2 weeks before my daughters planned party date. My sister and I loved it and my daughter had fun. I would have given that visit a 5 star rating. During the visit I asked if the room that we were wanting to rent would be closed off to just our party and my sister and I pointed very clearly to the door and the manager said yes. I was thinking in my head "wow what a great offer" that's the only reason I wanted to rent the party room for $150 plus and extra $35 for 2 large 1 topping pizzas. So we got all the paper work done that day. Well today (1/20/18) I got there about 10 minutes before the event and there were other kids playing in the party area that I thought was set apart for my daughters party. I was confused until my sister informed me that the only room we get is a small blocked off room where we would get to sit and have our personal belongings and food not the whole section with the bouncy houses and bikes like they said we would get on our first visit. So we talked to one of the owners, then a manager, and the owner and it came down to them saying there was nothing they could do and that we should take some responsibility to look on their website and get all the details and that they have been doing this since the place opened so there was no way they would've made that mistake. It wasn't until I expressed myself about how disappointed I was that they finally agreed there was some type of miscommunication. It wasn't until the very end that they ended up taking off a whopping $19. As someone who works in a customer service industry I would understand the customers feelings and make an accommodation. Never will I go back not because I wasn't given what I was originally paying for but because there was a lack of understanding that they made a mistake.
