My Grandkids loved it, we tolerated it because of the joy they experienced despite older kids blocking a pathway preventing younger ones from passing and other kids pouring pop down one of the slides. Parents were all present but not watching their kids. The employees were kind, helpful, knowledgeable about the snack bar, but not there to police the kids. This meant we stuck close to our four year Grandson to the chagrin of my husband's back and his head that he hit several times. They had a nice, good sized baby/toddler area. I agree with most reviewers on parents using this as free for all time and not watching their kids I literally watched a toddler bully a lady for water climbing on her table and screaming poor lady was so confused on what to do, and parent was as no where around so she scooped her down handed her water and off she ran... Large indoor kids play place with pirate theme. 7 slides, nerf ball guns, maze crawl structure and toddler area. It was fairly priced. My only complaint was no outside food allowed. While they did have applesauce, there were no other healthy snacks for sale. Everything is fried. Visited after school. Was quiet with just a few kids. I was really happy to see upgraded and repaired play equipment and blasters. Also observed some mats being wiped down and cleaning happening. This place is really conveniently located for me and my grandchildren LOVE playing here. read more

I almost fought a kid the last time I was here. My 1 yo nephew was playing on the piano light up area, and a 10 ish yo went out of his way to knock him over. My nephew fell onto his head on concrete. Another kid was blocking an entrance of the slide and trying to climb up it as other kids were going down. The same kid started crying and refusing to leave the play structure after my older nephew made a silly comment to him. Do not bring toddlers. I wish I would've known the under 3 area was not monitored at all before I wasted the money on my toddler to play. She was knocked over by big kids who were jumping and climbing all over. We were here for a few hours and she was able to play for 15 minutes if that. I've been coming to Dizzy Castle for about 3 years and this place has continued to decline. I refer to it as Dirty Castle since there are thick piles of dust all over the play-structures and over exposed light fixtures. Look up at the ceiling and you'll see the fiberglass insulation exposed and about to fall down. Many of the safety nets having concerning sized tears and holes that can cause little feet to get hurt. Many if not most of the pads have been torn and covered with duct tape. I found many exposed pieces of wood that should be covered by padding that are able to tear pants and leave splinters. I've never hosted a kid's bday party here but have attended many and was not impressed with what the packages included for the price. Overall they need to deep clean this place immediately and repair/replace broken and torn equipment and safety features. read more

It's disgusting.. no one cleaned while we were there one time.. my kids socks were disgusting.. I called about a week later when my kids were still sick to let them know. The manager Amber was very rude and said guess that's what happens when you go in public! I guess so when you go to gross places! She said they clean every night. Needs to be more often!! I genuinely love this place! There's no denying that there could be some updates here and there, but when you're like me and need somewhere to let the kids run loose and burn out some energy - you get the best bang for your buck here. They have raised their prices in the last 6 months, but who hasn't! You get the option of a buy 10 pass with X amount free which is nice, but if you're a mom of 4+ like me, it's not really realistic. I wish they had a family subscription pass available monthly because I'd be there weekly if that were the case. Their snack and food items are great and fairly priced. Fun place for my kid. Enjoyed the experience. Family member ordered cheese and pepperoni pizza. We were given just cheese with no pepperoni. We politely informed the person who brought our food out who responded with, "No, you ordered cheese pizza, you don't get pepperoni." This seemed odd so we reaffirmed it was the wrong order, to which the reply was, "Too bad, you ordered wrong, it's not my fault." I understand it being busy and overworked, but this was a very rude and cold interaction that put a bad taste over the entire rest of our experience. This place is just a breeding ground for the norovirus. Every single time we go to a birthday party here within 24-36 hours the kids are throwing up. They clean at the very end of the day is what I've been told, but they need to have periodic breaks during the day to sanitize. Save your money or you'll be up with a puke bowl! read more

If your kids like playgrounds..... then this is the place. It got 5 stars because you really can't find a playground that has all the anonymity's that this place has to offer. There will always be haters in this world that complain about dust or not well staffed or bullies or this or that. I say: if your afraid of the dust..... you go up too a 14' ladder and clean the dust off yourself because their isn't any dust we're the kids play (there's not enough time for dust to settle with that many kids playing); if your afraid of bullying or staff not watching your kids..... then be a REAL parent and supervise your child (and other children if need be). Get in the mix and have fun with your child... I'm 47 years old and I play with my kids). The food is ok. All you hear are kids screaming!!!!!?????....... GOOD!!!!!!.... It means they are having fun! From slides to mazes to interactive video-to-floor games to eating to parties to the best obstacle course a kid could ask for....???!!!...... it's worth the money. We had my daughter's 4th birthday here. The birthday package was ok pricing-wise, but they alluded that they'd set up and tear down for us, which they didn't. We brought and decorated on our own and had to have all guests and the room cleared promptly when our reservation ended. It was a little stressful wrangling all the kids and parents to get their stuff out of the room by the designated time. It'd be nice if you could bring your own food/drink inside too. Dizzy is a great past time for littles it has good food although the fryer has been broken for about a month now. We normally visit around 10a-2pm the day crew is made up usually of you adults and one older lady with brown hair who never smiles and seems annoyed. They all usually huddle at one table with their phones and chat. Overall it's as clean as you would hope for a kids indoor place. It really has a lot of potential and I can see this place becoming even more popular if they took better care of the place (as far as cleaning is concerned). It's pretty dirty, nobody was checking capacity, there were like 3 employees for 200+ people... one employee was trying to tell people to put their masks on but people were super disrespectful and ignored her. I highly doubt this place gets cleaned and it definitely wasn't being actively cleaned while we were there. I don't think this place should be open if they can't provide basic Covid policy. It was gross and I'm assuming my kids are going to get sick from being there, even while wearing masks and washing/sanitizing hands frequently. We went twice already! I loved this place. $15 all day entry. The second we walked in we were greeted, asked if we had been there before and explained how it all works before we went through the gate. They have a clean, decently kept play space. There is a toddler section for 3 and under (we didn't play there because my kiddo is 4 but it was a bit small ) the food options are great and not overly priced! The birthday parties are only $150 I believe and you can't beat that! Truly impressed and we drive an hour to go visit. Dirty, crowded and traumatizing. People here don't watch their kids and there are no staff around making sure kids are playing safely. This place is a disgusting chaotic mess with snot nosed kids running around like animals. It smells like dirty socks mixed with a daycare center and urinal cakes.... Odd, especially since they were serving pizzas and you'd *think* you'd be able to smell the food. Nope, just the rank odor of a dirty warehouse filled with out of control germy kids. So gross. The place is a mess the employees clean the tables and that is it. The play structure is a mess with dust everywhere and the equipment is ripped. We know when coming to dizzy castle we will likely get sick. They have no age restrictions for the kids this includes those who bully the little ones trying to get to the top. Parents just let their kids roam and don't check on them. There were kids not allowing anyone at the top of the structure leading to a parent telling the children to be nice. The kids did not listen or care. A lady was in the toddler area with high heels which is gross and unsafe. Dizzy castle does not allow food or drinks but the food area is closed or coffee machine is not running. As a parent please allow me a cup of coffee if I cant purchase any. The bathrooms are disgusting my husband said there was a puddles. Not having the employees clean this is gross then we are stepping around in socks. The employees dont care and it shows. I probably would only recommend Dizzy Castle if there was nowhere else to go on a rainy day. The place doesn't seem very clean, there's layers of dust on top of and behind the play structure. Certain areas look as if they haven't been dusted since the building was constructed. My biggest gripe is the parents that visit this place. Every parent had their face buried in their phones while they're demon spawns were being too aggressive towards younger kids. I watched some older kids physically bully a younger kid and no other parent was even aware or just didn't care. Fun place, good food, never seen the dragon before, my kid goes there however i limited the amount of times we go there because some parents do not care and bring their sick kids and allow them to cough and snot all over. I dont think the staff really cleans all of it. My son and his friend had a terrifying experience today. They were being bullied by a a couple of larger kids who definitely were over the age of 12. Larger kids were being aggressive and rough throughout the playground, one of them hit my sons temple behind his ear (see the photo attached). My friend and I went up to the employees several times with nothing being done. Shortly later, I see them putting my sons friend in a corner and antagonizing her. My friend and I approached the employees yet again, specifically Riley, yet she looked at us with a blank stare. This is an absolute disgrace that 1. Kids older than the age requirement are allowed to mingle with the smaller kids and even are allowed to rough them up 2. There are 10+ year olds allowed in the baby area, throwing large foam blocks around 3. Employees on their phone 4. Employees not knowing what to do when being informed over aggressive children. Why are these employees not doing their job and kicking these bullies out? My son who is disabled came up to me in tears and wondered why he was being targeted. He is a shy kid and it breaks my heart that this type of physical abuse is allowed at this type of "kid friendly" facility. Hours later when we arrived back home, my son said his temple was still sore. I'm hoping it gets better, otherwise we will be going to the emergency room later tonight. read more

The kids love this place! It's clean, well staffed and the equipment is well kept. It's a fun place for a birthday party, they cater the entire party as part of the party packages. The only thing I dislike is not something that's controlled by the business, and that's some of the children. Some parents are inattentive to their kids, and it's led to the occasional bullying situation by older kids to the younger children. Also would be little girls screaming at the top of their lungs just to hear themselves. It gets extremely annoying. When I first came to Vancouver to visit, I was looking for my 2 year old to get his energy out somewhere! At first I was confused because not a ton of people were there, but we went early and during the week. It was around 6 bucks for my toddler and he had a blast! Compared to a different "play-place" that I was recently at, this is like the best upgraded version that you can find in Vancouver. It's literally so diversely big, and their menu of food is actually really big. Their chicken Caesar wrap is, as I like to say, "not too shabby" XD. We had been looking for indoor play area for a long time in Portland area, and this is the one with the best rating so we decided to try it out. Wow, this place is overwhelming to say the least. I can tell why this is a popular spot (in fact, it was so busy we couldn't even park in the parking lot). We paid the fee and off the little one went. Parents get to sit in the eating/sitting area as children roam around and having the time of their lives in the castle. This place actually reminds me a lot of the indoor playgrounds I used to go to when I was little. Dizzy Castle is welcoming, even adults could go into the play area to supervise. If we weren't on a tight schedule, we would probably stay in here all day. Advice to parents: just be prepared to hang out here for a long time, bring a book, something to do! There are plenty of seatings but not the most comfortable, it's great that they have food available, I just wish there are more options. It is not cheap, but it will be worth it if you spend awhile in here. My little one couldn't stop talking about it ever since we visited for the first time. Playground: The playground is pretty good. Up to three levels of jungle gym, with multiple slides, climbing platforms, some nerf-type ball shooters, a projection floor, foam obstacles etc. The tables can be hard to come by on a day when school is out, so get there early. Kids are supposed to remove their shoes and keep socks on. I highly recommend you keep shoes with your stuff and not leave them in the common area as too many kids are in the shoe area unattended. The 3 and under toddler area is nice, employees only assist that area, when asked though. So be sure to point out any older children that need removed, and they will politely accommodate that. Food: They have an extensive menu for a playground. The pizza tastes very similar to freschetta brand pizza. Like you would buy with groceries on your frozen aisle, with a couple fresh toppings thrown on top. It's good, not spectacular, but not terrible either. The salads are pretty big. They do a decent job with Bagel sandwiches, a barista stand etc. The jalapeño cream cheese stuffed bagels are as yummy as they are in disneyland. Staff: Most of the staff is young and nice. They offer Popsicles to crying little ones and will chase down the naked footed bandit. They give out complimentary diapers and wipes if asked, and stickers or tattoos as kids leave. Overall it's well organized. I've been on a night when they did a dark event and handed every kid a free foam light up stick. Awesome bonus! It's $5-$10 per kid. Cheaper if you buy the punch card, which also gives you a food discount. Always a birthday party going on in the party room.
