I just was referred to this company by my neighbors who use their service. I'm soooo surprised how amazing they were. I've used cleaning services before but this has been my best experience yet. I always use Yelp to find services. I was looking for house cleaning company and I contacted 4 of them. 2 did give me a quote but they couldn't send any one out for 5 days and the other 9 days. 1 company said they didn't service my area. One, who had 4 stars has yet to even contact me! So I 'Googled' house cleaning services late in the evening and found Sparkly Space, even though it said they were based out of Los Angeles. They got back to me within 15 mins! Gave me a honest quote AND had a cleaner that my daughter's house the NEXT DAY. I have saved them as a contact in my phone because I will use them exclusively. Let me first start telling you about Mr. sparkly space "Sam." With a half assed job that was done I can honestly say beware of this company they do not know what their doing. I asked for a deep cleaning and that's a no-brainer of what to do being they are the cleaning service and I am the client. What a difference pictures make. I would not recommend this company or service to anyone. They are so unprofessional that they didn't even have somebody come to view my house and visually look at the square footage although And see what my needs were. I did tell them a deep cleaning. Hired Sparkly Space to clean up a newly renovated ADU. They advertised thru Thumbtack that they do after construction cleaning, which means there is an expectation of a lot of dust. The place is vacant, has all the appliances including a used stove & fridge which I had already started cleaning the insides of. No furniture. The ladies worked fast and thoroughly but not efficiently. At the end of 2 1/2 hours of cleaning 900 sf of hardwood and porcelain tile flooring, 10 windows inside and out, all the windows were streaked and a damp film was on the new washer and dryer. They advised me to do a walk through as their time was up. I asked what they had used to clean the windows since all of them were streaked. They said wet and dry cloths. I informed them the best thing to use to get the streaks is paper towel as I proceeded to wipe them myself and asked if they would help wipe them all down w/the paper towels b4 they left. Alondra proceeded to call her boss while she and Angelica went to the front of the property. The boss Al called me and asked what did I say to his employee, that she was crying, that she has worked there for two years and never once cried. He proceeded to counsel me on how to respond to newcomers in my home. I interjected and let him know I did use a firm tone but I was not mean, as I wanted them to understand I was not going to pay more because they did not use the proper tools for the job! Neither of them even had a razor blade or small brush. Who cleans after renovation without hand vacuums, brushes and of course paper towels. As Al & I spoke the ladies took off. I did not even have an opportunity to thank them and tip them as I would have had they only stayed and wiped down the streaks and the film. It is unfair and unreasonable to the housekeepers to be expected to do a thorough and fair job in 5 hours or in this case 2 1/2 hours each for the 2 of them. Why advertise a specialty and not be properly prepared? A good thorough cleaning takes at least 8 hours. The ladies arrived to the unit before I did and let themselves in. When I arrived, I approached the property, I could hear water running, it continued to run as I walked approximately 25 feet downstairs, into the unit where I see one of the ladies scrubbing the shower while the water is running in the sink. I asked why, she stated she was rinsing the rag. I explained there are plugs for the sink, right next to where the water is running, that filling the sink with water is best, not running it while you scrub the shower next to it. Al stated he would credit me $50 since I was unhappy and they would never clean for me again. I truly would have preferred them to wipe away the streaks and the damp film. I would have tipped them and all would be ok. I later found the bottom of the oven was not even touched. And the very next day I can see a film over the entire 700sf of wood flooring. The original estimate was $180. I agreed to $265 for thorough "After Renovation Cleaning", which I did not receive. I did receive the $50 credit Al stated he would give me, the very next day. Sending your girls out with the right tools and allowing them at least 30 -45 minutes to wrap up a job would pay off well for all involved and end unnecessary drama. read more

I had my tenants move out and they weren't the cleanest :D but Sparkly Space cleaned in 1 day what this tenant did not do for years. I would always recommend and book with them. Set up an appointment through Sparkly Space via text. Was told my needs would not be an issue and that I had found the right business for the job. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I don't trust businesses that request payment prior to service and thanks to Sparkly Space I never will again. $300+ to have my entire home cleaned. Spent 4 hours on my kitchen of the 6hrs I paid and left my counters filthy. Mopped the floor despite my instructions to leave the floor alone as it is in need of repair. Threw away good food in my fridge but didn't bother to actually wipe it down or disinfect it. When I called the company the owner made a ton of excuses, then proceeded to blame me for a misunderstanding that had really nothing to do with the issue at hand. I was refunded for the hours not worked yet told that's why the job was only done to the degree it was. The cleaner they sent over seemed spacey and a bit out of it and didn't really understand what I or my partner was asking for. Overall, bad experience and I would never hire them again. read more

Unfortunately my roommate and I are very displeased with this service. Our initial cleaning was scheduled for 10 am on a Saturday. At 10:10 we received a call that the woman assigned to our home was 10 minutes late. At 10:45 I called the manager as we still had not heard anything and he told us that she could no longer make it due to health issues. I completely understand that things happen and he was very apologetic and promised us our entire apartment clean on another date (rather than a 2 hour limit) to make up for the inconvenience. A little frustrating but, again, things happen... Fast forward to today. A woman came to clean our home and spent 5+ hours cleaning. I greatly appreciate the time spent, but have absolutely no clue what was done in that time as the house looks no better than when we do a superficial clean ourselves. The stovetop is still filthy, shower doors have not been touched, countertops had to be redone by us after she left. In addition, one of the main motivating factors we had for hiring a cleaning service was that we do not have space to store an adequate strength vacuum. We use a very small, cheap vacuum that does not do a great job. We were very excited to have our carpets vacuumed today and unfortunately the cleaning woman said the vacuum she had in her car was "no better than ours" so she just used ours instead. The floor is covered in dust bunnies and crumbs. I can't even imagine what a 2 hour service would have been as 5 hours looked no better than what we usually do ourselves in an hours time. From Al's communication, to the quality of cleaning, I was very pleased. Al and the cleaners (a mom and daughter) were very nice. However, there were some areas that were not clean. And my doorstops were left on my floor somehow and the cleaners didn't mention it before leaving. I was so busy I couldn't notify Al of the issues until days later. He mentioned he wished I responded earlier so he could've sent someone to fix it, which was nice. Unfortunately, I am looking to pay someone to do it right the first time, which is why i has to bump the rating down. Especially given that Sparkly is way more expensive than other cleaning services and they make you pay before they come to clean. None of us in the world are perfect but just wrote this because the price/payment process was not at all justified and things that should obviously be focused on were not. read more

I hired Sparkly Space after I had just paid for a deep cleaning through out my house through another local maid service. They had done such a horrible job I had to hire another cleaning service. Luckily Sparkly Space was just much better. My cleaners name was Fred. She was very detailed oriented and was ok with me double checking her work as she was going through it. She made sure I was happy with each step before moving on, which I really appreciate. Fred was able to clean much thoroughly and really leave a sparkle more than the other cleaning service did. My only complaint was I had to pre-pay for all my service before I could book an appointment. To me that was odd I've hired lots of cleaning crew before I've done deposit but never was asked for full payment before hand. Hence the reason for 4 stars not 5. read more

My two room apartment with kitchen and bathroom was so messy because I travel a lot for work and used to have so many cats lol before the cleaning lady gabby or gabbi came in and did her Magic! I contacted Sparkly Space few weeks before but my constructors can't complete the house on time, so I told Rose Lature that I will contact to him later for exactly time. Then, I notified him in last minutes, but he still worked it out to find Alondra and her partner helping me out to clean my place. Alondra and her partner made my apartment sparkling clear. I can see my reflection on microwave. All glasses and glass door in bathroom are crystal clear. Toilet bowl looks like a brand new one. I am so offset with their work and amazed their work.
