spark light doesnt seem to care about customers. they are also very unorganized. it's almost as if they have no training and just hire people who say they want a job and just say put on a shirt and here are the keys to the truck. and here's a phone just answer and. collect credit card info and that's all is required. I had the most horrible experience. first of all before they install the internet you must pay in advance and they can't get you installed for 3 weeks. you tell them that the house never had their service their before and a line needed to be installed from the powerline and fished through the conduit to get to the house. they tell you a special tech needs to come out for that so they can blow the lines. I was understanding with this since I was aware of how this needed to be installed. when the tech arrived he said he was just a residential tech and they have to send out a special tech to blow the lines and run a line from the pole thro the conduit to the house first. I let him know that's who I thought he was. He said he put notes so a tech can be scheduled for the following Monday. when Monday came I called customer service to see what time frame they may be coming out and found out a tech was not scheduled and it will be another 3 weeks before someone can come out. this was very upsetting and I had to wait another 3 weeks and they gave me a full day as a window which was not convenient so I was expected to wait all day. at the end of the window time frame which was until 4 pm I ended up leaving after calling customer service and they told me they don't do installs after 4 pm. I figured I could leave since they wouldn't be coming out after that. when I got home I had a door tag stating that I wasn't home for the install. I called customer service and let them know again that he didn't come out until it was out side of their service window and I didn't get a call ahead of time as promised. and they could have at least finished installing the line that was ran through the conduit. it was not ran up the pole. when the rescheduled a tech to come out the following week he showed up and couldn't complete the install due to the line not being connected at the pole. again they needed to schedule for someone to come out. guess who they scheduled next? an residential install tech and he couldn't install the internet either. at this point I was so upset and decided to cancel services and requested a full refund. after I canceled I kept getting door tags from spark light saying sorry we missed you. and kept getting calls telling me they would like to reschedule. I told them I was not happy with this whole process and they were very unprofessional and nobody can seem to get things right. I said if spark light wants to remain in business they need to get things right bc they will prevent themselves from getting any future business from anyone. after speaking to neighbors and other people I bumped into, i came to find out this is a normal practice with spark light and they all got as exhausted as I did and they decided not to move forward with spark light either and they recommended never contacting spark light for service due to all the brain damage they have. If I ran this company I would require employees to have a better understanding on how to do their jobs correctly. I would also strive for a higher level of customer service. It would bea well organized and well oiled machine if I ran this company. I don't believe sparklight will do anything about this as I see many reviews that are all negative mentioning the same issues. And nothing changed in my experience. read more

I have had TV service with cable one for over 30 years. I began losing the picture and volume on both TV's. It was much worse on some channels and when it was windy. I called for service. The first technician that came out was terrible. I wish, I knew his name. He changed a couple of wires and said both DVR boxes were bad. It seemed odd that both boxes would go bad at the exact same time and manner. But I had a lot of programs recorded, so I put up with the problem for a few more months. Then I took one of the DVR boxes back. The new box did the same thing. So I called again, this time they sent out a technician named Hung (inside wire guy). He was awesome!!! He came inside and changed the wires that ran to both TVs. He actually called the next day to check on the problem. It wasn't fixed. So Hung called Brian (outside wire guy). Brian came out and looked around and found frayed outside wires. Brian stayed that day and ran new wire. While running the new wire, he found where a squirrel had chewed through the cable. Brain called Hung to came back out and connect our newly replaced cable line. I so much appreciated the job they did. I am keeping their names and will ask for them in person for any future issues. read more

Anyone want to know the reason Prescott Cable One sucks so much? One name, Trudy Szabo. She is the customer service manager, but she knows nothing about customer service. She is rude, greedy and has a huge ego. She will yell at the people who are afraid to stand up to her. If she doesn't like you then she will be sneaky, and try to do things to you. She was recently reported for keeping another employee's check that was sent to the Prescott office. Always saying she never received it but the whole time it was in her office, and had even been opened. The only reason she is still employed there is for some reason the head honcho Dennis kisses her butt. Every other person in that entire place can not stand her. She doesn't care about any of the customers and their problems. Other employees may try to help your situation, but when she comes across it then her answer is always no. She gets her jolly's by pushing people around. I've seen it many times first hand. When you have a complaint about cable one, I would look into what Trudy's two cents were about it. read more

On two separate occasions I have ordered internet service from Cable One, my representative J. R. was polite, and efficient and went out of her way to make an appointment for me , where there was difficulty in doing so .......and my installer was even more so, he showed up when he was as scheduled to, completed the install in a quick and considerate fashion even though it was the end of his work day and he was obviously just a bit bushed ( his patience exceed my curiosity and a multitude of questions0.........I am totally satisfied with Cable One.......p.s. the internet is fast enough and dependable enough to stream a movie! read more

I recently reconnected my cable. Mostly because I am taking college classes, and my classes are online. I had a problem connecting my wireless printer to my internet, and I called the Cable One support, and the gentleman was very kind to take the time to assist me and make sure my printer was connected and working before we hung up. As well, when I ordered the cable originally, I asked if I could purchase my own modem. I was told yes, and even told what brand and model of modem would be compatible with Cable One. As of this date, I am very pleased with Cable One, and it is why I am a return customer. read more

Cableone/Sparklight think that by changing theyr name they might get new customers well, the service is still the same junk service and I would not give these people cent one for it, stay away from this provider is you value your data, emails, and most important your hard earned money. I wish I could give them -100 stars. I pay for speed 50 mbps and understand that it can fluctuate. I can not stream movies without it pausing constantly. HORRIBLE. I believe until the so called work on their lines etc (over a year now) is completed they should only be allowed to bill customers at the slowest speed advertised period; and that is being kind on my part, fing dial up would be faster lately. service is ok; however, it fails at live customer service. "Trying" to update to a faster speed has so far taken over three hours to even talk or text with a human. Therefore, I'll say with the slower, but usable service and if that is how it is, I will remain with it until I head to another provider. Do not give money to these scam artists, They graciously take your check and cash it and not turn the internet back on. Then they'll ignore your calls and send you to an automated machine that is as useful than a bag of dung. We'll take our money elsewhere. read more
