OMGGGG! I am new to the area and was HIGHLY recommended to Sparklight. I went into the office to pick up my equipment to find one person working. There were 5 people ahead of me and each person took about 10 minutes to be helped. I was there for over a 1/2 hour to PICK UP EQUIPMENT. This company has ZERO respect for anyone's time. When I got home, I realized how unacceptable this was and I took the equipment back unused, I ran into the same issue. They have 2 desks in the front office, but in their mind people can simply wait for one person to help them. Oh, and unapologetic for any of it... Apparently, they feel superior (lots of people recommend them) and don't need to work for anyone's hard earned money. If you can get T-Mobile get T-Mobile... If you can get ANY other Internet, do it. JUST TAKE A BIG PASS ON SPARKLIGHT! read more

The 5 STARS are for Nick ONLY, who installed our service - top notch, very professional and completed the work without any issues, plus made sure I am up and running before he left. NOW THE BAD: to get to customer service by phone or by chat online, well - That Is a Total Joke, can't get anyone to pickup, keeps routing from one bot to another, really hope that I do not need any help with my account - can only picture the frustration. PRO TIP: if you want someone to pickup, make sure you select the options for new service or product, they like picking that line up over the support lines ;) You're welcome! We don't know why there is very poor "customer service"with sparklight. Also the citizens Prescott should have more than one, and more than two choices in the internet industry. Having only one provider in this area is called a monopoly. Competition in the marketplace is what we the citizens want and need. read more

Internet service is spotty at best, service is questionable, they can't schedule an appointment within a reasonable amount of time , you have to plan an entire day for a technician to come out to your house. It's Tuesday and because I work and can't be home till 3 o'clock on Wednesday I have to wait until Saturday for an appointment that's scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM. Call me crazy but that's horse shit. read more

Dakota Koch, business Technition for Sparklight in Prescott, AZ, not only helped me with my problem but he called me at the site like I requested before he arrived and with a follow up. I needed a wire moved off a dead tree to the nearby pole. He was the only technician out of the 2 previous Sparklight techs and 4 from the electric company to tell me whose wire it was and who I needed to call. I was able to get it removed the same day after trying for the last 3 weeks. The tree needs to be removed and that wasn't going to happen without that wire gone because it's in a position to fall on my house. Thanks Dakota! read more

Service! After four years of excellent internet service we now have had little or no service in the last 2-3 weeks! It's is absolutely unacceptable. I've called numerous times & had a service man out & they determined it was not an issue in our house but outside. Our neighbor has had the same issue. After being overbilled $200 for six weeks of service that was supposed to be under an 'introductory offer' of $29.95 (which with tax is actually $35/mo), and still not being able to access my online account "Upgrade in Progress, Estimated Completion Time 7/13/2025" -- that was six weeks ago, I'm ready to go with another provider. I requested an escalation to speak to a supervisor, that they would 'call back' has not worked at all. They can't seem to solve a simple over-charging issue and correct my bill with either a credit or refund on the over-charge. Internet and TV work well. But landline and wifi calling (needed for my cell phone) are intermittent and unreliable. I have complained about them many times in 9 years only to have the complaint dismissed. Many of the website features don't function. Try getting outage information online. It's impossible. The on-hold phone system recommends going to the website to chat with an agent. But the "agent" turns out to be a worthless virtual assistant. I did find a way for the virtual assistant to send the chat to a real person, but that person/agent never appeared on the chat. What a colossal waste of time! If Sparklight's aim is to enrage its customers, they couldn't do a better job. What an awful company! read more

Sparklight internet is the worst. Cuts out constantly and when works it freezes. Neighbors have Starlink and love it. Can't wait to switch.

Internet provider without a working internet page. Couldn't pay bill because site was down for a day and a half. Spoke to customer service about paying the next day even though it would be late and they said it would be fine. Payed next day full amountand they still disconnected my service. They wanted a bunch of service charges and fee to start it up again even after I specify asked if this would happen and the representative told me they would flag my account so there wouldn't be disruption in my service. read more

I tried to change my service to a special offer they had.. so I don't have to pay 96.00 for just internet.. they keep charging me for the new service and the old service on top of it!!! Then I have to call and straighten it out for the tune of an hour of one! and again now they insist what I have is just a past due balance and you'll be caught up... for three months now. Last month they turned off my service and then realized it was their mistake now.. oh and so kind of them to reverse he 20. Fee! Like it was a gift to me! We recently switched to Sparklight TV, and we are pleased with the performance of the updated service. We commend the service technician Titus King who installed the new boxes for the WiFi TV signal and converted our units to be able to receive the programming that we have previously received by cable. Titus is very professional, knowledgeable and personable; he explained and demonstrated all of the changes involved in transitioning to Sparklight TV. We recommend Titus highly, and we will request him to provide any future service if needed. read more

set up auto pay. they never took the payments out. called to fix it. then they charged my card 3 separate times for over $400. called to get my refund, they stated they were fixing it. never did. so now I have to call them tomorrow since they have no one available on off hours to fix my account! If I could do Zero stars I would. I guess since we are only able to get Sparklight where we live, they don't feel good internet is necessary. My husband and I both work from home and everything we do it online. So frustrating when we can never depend on a day of connection. We started out with Dish network over 4 yrs ago and enjoyed good service. During a light rain we lost service. I was unable to get the Dish franchisee here despite several calls. After he stood me up I dumped them for the Roku device an all of of the sets. For the last several months my Sparklight internet provider has become very sketchy in the evenings. My neighbors have the same problems although the employee at the Sparklight office denies any problems. We text each other when it fails at around 8pm nightly. I would not recommend them at all. There are charges for service I never ordered but I cannot talk to anyone on the phone. The office in Prescott is closed. All other offices and businesses are open but Sparklight claims things are worse with Covid so no open office. I have a charge of over $195 plus tax that I cannot get off my bill. I am going to send a registered letter to the Sparklight headquarters so they cannot deny that I tried to complain. They are also adding late fee. read more

Sparklight, which took over from Cable One, is a trash company that regards customer service as unneeded. Resources go only to getting new customers. If they didn't hold a monopoly in my area with my only other option being Century Link, a company that disconnected my lifeline while fooling with the phone lines, I would not be doing business with them at all. They have had continuous outages and crashes, and their network is as secure as a newborn mouse in a lion's den. I've had 5 rental modems from them in as many months because they can't get their equipment to work. I am expecting my 6th new modem come Wednesday. Didn't ask for one earlier because they had a system-wide crash that destroyed all the hard drives at their main office, and the tech said the modem probably wouldn't be connected until Wednesday. read more

My internet delivery system started shutting down for no obvious reason so I called Tech Support to find out why. After a short conversation to present the issue, the tech support agent scheduled an appointment for the next day to see if a new modem was needed or the current one could be fixed. The next day Titus King showed up in the scheduled period after notifying me he was on his way. I have 14 different pieces of equipment in my home that are dependent on the internet working. Titus quickly determined that although we had a good signal, the modem needed to be replaced with newer technology in order to operate multiple units at the same time. Withing an hour, Titus had replaced the new equipment, tested it, set up the account to see the system analysis, and verified all the equipment had been automatically reconnected to the wireless system and were working. Titus answered all my questions, made sure I understood how the monitoring system for the wireless system worked on my phone and helped me to verify any issues, Excellent service, personable and very knowledgeable technician and I am very happy with the result. Better speed on multiple units operating at the same time and major peace of mind that I won't have any failures due to the equipment in the reasonable future. Thank you Titus and Tech Support! I have switched over to Sparklite about a yr now, no problems.. if we did they were right there to fix the problem. I have them for internet and stream my TV. I had an issue with compromised credit card, thought I updated the new card, turns out it did not take, my service was disconnected. called today, customer service fixed it all and we are good to go. Hung on by Sean today as I requested paper billing for about the fourth time from them. Sparklight has shifted me to paperless billing for my business and I have requested paper billing for accounting payments. Sparklight can hassle you when you do not pay them since you never got the bill you requested but other than that they are about useless. Their service is ok at best as it often goes out. Sparklight is HORRIBLE so find another service if you can. read more

When it works, it's okay. Paying $80 for 300 mb download speed and although the speed will fluctuate up and down, the connection usually stays solid. Problem is, when it goes down, you can't contact anyone and you get to listen to a recording about the high volume of calls and it tells you to call back later. Then the system just hangs up which tends to make a bad situation worse. And which is why I rate the company with a generous 2 stars out of 5. When 5G wireless becomes readily available and reliable in my area, I'll switch and and pay for unlimited data and drop Sparklight entirely. read more

Wi-Fi was fine, went out a few times but got it back on. Only pain is that the Prescott location has no drop off spot for people with full time jobs that can't make it during business hours. I had to keep my Wi-Fi modem for almost a month without even using it because there isn't a spare hour I have to drop off during their hours. Their hours are very slim! As the only High Speed Internet provider (100 Mbps or higher) in the area, there is little choice to run a business with anyone else. I have been waiting 2 weeks to upgrade my Internet service for my business. I am on my 3rd phone call over 2 days to try and get the service upgraded. The contract has been signed (2 weeks ago) and now multiple calls of sitting on hold, being transfered to one department to another, holding while someone reviews the notes on the account to find out what is going on, to transfer me to someone else. Yet, the service has still not been upgraded. While I am on hold, I a writting this review. During this time I get to listen to the propoganda on how Sparklight Business is here to help small businesses with high speed Internet and how they are here to make my life easier. No matter how many times I have to hear this message, it still is not true. They advertise providing managed Internet and Wi-Fi Services as a way to save you time and headaches. I can't imagine letting a business rely on Sparklight to manage the Internet and wireless for an office with Sparklight's poor service track record. Nearly an hour later, the account has supposedly been upgrade. Yet speed test show no improvement. It may tak another few hours to upgrade. Ugh. read more

I would give it a half star if it was an option. Sparklight sucks! I've lived here for less than 3 months and at least 50 times while watching a show, a "beep boop we have lost connection " sign comes up. Hulu and Netflix work fine and they require a WiFi signal, so it's not just the WiFi connection. Also, if I try to watch a show on Sparklight in my bedroom, it only gives me the option to record it or see the series info. I have called them to complain and try to get it fixed, but nothing they have done has helped at all. It is the worst cable tv company I've ever used. read more

We had the internet set up last Saturday and the 2 guys that came were wonderful, especially Dakota. Today the tv technician called first and was very nasty on the phone, we wanted tv service so we ignored it. Then he said he would be here at 10:30 am. ( it was currently 8:00 am. He showed up after HIS lunch. We told him that we were both disabled and he completely ignored what I had said. When he started complaining about what people think he should do, I said " I know, I heard you this morning and all of the things you weren't going to do " Kevin Milfur??" Said " I m happy to leave and you can get someone else to come out, they won't help you either." I stopped talking and let my brother in law ( who is suffering from cancer) take care of this horrible horrible person. This is customer service???? Really????? I was recently down in the Phoenix area for 2 months for a family emergency and when I returned home to Lakeside, Sparklight was unwilling to offer any help, they had already disconnected service and sent it to collections with not so much as a phone call. When I called them upon my return and told them that they could verify that there was no usage of the internet for 2 months, they said they were unable to check because of the disconnection. What a crock of crap... my father was in the hospital and they offered nothing except to take the full payment... read more

I just realized why Cable One changed their name to Sparklight. When your reputation and service is simply gross...their PR firm talked them into the old "change your name quick" trick. I've had their service for less than two weeks and I've encountered no less that two dozen outages. I've routinely spoken with their "Customer Service" team ( term used quite loosely), only to discover I have house plants with more sense than those people. Liam, a technician with Sparklight, has been to our home a couple of times to fix our wireless internet problem and then to correct an issue created by the cable burying crew...which was minor but needed a technician to correct. Liam was wonderful!! He arrived on time, was very courteous and professional, and checked all power sources for cable, internet and phone. He was thorough but worked efficiently. I can't even do my online classes because they are closed on the weekends, I can't call anyone, it's just no good whatsoever. The download speeds in addition to bandwidth capability no matter what size plan you have, is fucking abysmal. Prescott will never have gig internet lmfao, it's a joke here. Not to mention the latency is always above 20-30ms, which should be unheard of in mid 2023. read more
