Wow!!! I've NEVER had anyone EVER clean windows for me!!!! But our new house had so many windows and after 6 WEEKS of landscaping they were really really dirty!!! So we had Sparkle Tech come out after our neighbor told me how awesome they were and I was FLOORED!!!! First of all, anyone who came into the house to clean, put booties over their shoes. Talk about respectful. Second, it was the most polite and courteous team of guys. It is a family owned company and from the initial phone call to the team who came to the house??? They were wonderful. First impressions are always so important!!! The fact that they cleaned them so perfectly was amazing enough but when I went outside !????? They had cleaned the windows inside the garage (which were nasty dirty) but they also cleaned the garage DOOR windows !!!! I mean. WHO DOES THAT???!!! I just stood there in awe!!!!! My girlfriend referred me to Sparkle tech window washing. I was at her house and noticed how clean her windows were when I came up. I called them as I left her house that afternoon they were polite and prompt with my appointment. I was scheduled between 8 and 11 in the morning they were here at 8 o'clock. My windows look amazing they have a 90-day service where they will come back and do my exterior windows. I am definitely going to be using them every 90 days love my clean windows. read more

I wouldn't let them on my property at this point, as I am concerned about some other scam or rip off. They only get one star because there is not a zero star option. I bought a Groupon for the cleaning of 20 windows for $35. Before I bought the groupon I specifically asked if I could select the windows to be cleaned under this deal and was told that I could. Other customers had similar questions and responses as they, like I, wanted a service to clean second story windows. When the person doing the cleaning called to tell me that they were coming for the appointment (8 AM to 5 PM "window" for the appointment, pun intended) they asked what sort of ladder they should bring. I told them one appropriate for the second story of a home. The person then asked if I knew that there was a $50 up-charge for second stories, and I related the scenario above. He told me that a $50 up-charge was their policy. I then called their main office and was told the same thing, and they tried to blame Groupon for the disconnect. I told them that the questions were made and answered by text on a web site and that they were providing the answers, not Groupon. The person then told me that yes, I could pick which windows would be cleaned, but that I would be charged an extra $50 (143%) if the windows were on the second floor. The person then began to complain that as a result of their Groupon sales that they were having to clean windows "all over Arizona" and that everyone wanted second stories done. I gathered that this wasn't what they expected, so it was not very good planning on their part. If not second story windows, what windows would a cleaning service expect to clean for $1.75 per window? This company is unprofessional. They made what turned out to be a bad deal for them, and rather than stand by it or cancel it they inconvenience potential customers by having them prepare for a window cleaning appointment and then try to rip them off. I bought a Groupon for this window washing coupon in January 2012 that is good until January 2013. I called in August to arrange my cleaning (I had planned to wait out the monsoon and have sparkly clean windows for the holidays!) and the woman I made the arrangements with was actually very polite and courteous. When I ordered the Groupon, I paid extra for the 30 windows as I had counted mine out and my house has 29. Perfect. When I made the appointment the woman asked me the house size and we talked about the Groupon, absolutely no issues. Today the company called to confirm my appointment on this upcoming Monday and asked the square footage of my home. When I told her she asked if I had been informed that it would be an extra $240. I asked why and she said they don't do partial cleaning and would only come out to clean all of my windows. I told her I had paid the price for all the windows to be cleaned and expected her to honor the Groupon voucher of "$49, you get interior and exterior cleaning for 30 windows (a $125 value)" I bought. She refused and said that the Groupon is based on retail price and I would have to pay the retail difference. I asked what the full retail price was for my house and she said $275. I told her the numbers didn't ad up and if my Groupon was valued at $125 than that should be at minimum deducted off retail. It didn't even make sense deducting the $49 I paid from $275 to get that price. Regardless, the groupon was based on window count, not square footage... and there was no reasoning with these people. I further told her that I had paid less for Squeekykleen to do it a little over a year ago without any coupons, loved the job they did and I understood what the job entailed. She made some sarcastic comment to another person in the background about what I said. I told her I would be reporting her to Groupon (which I am going to be doing tomorrow) as well as making out complaints about their company online. She got mad and promptly hung-up. The part that makes it even worse, I had bought a second one as a gift for my sister for her birthday and she was just getting ready to use hers as well. They advised me that their first available opening was Saturday 11/24 from 2:00 - 4:00. I questioned the date as this was Thanksgiving weekend but was assured they would arrive as scheduled. I also asked if Sparkle Tech's 800 number would be answered on 11/24 should I desire to confirm the time. I was told someone would be available to answer the phone on 11/24. The time came and went on 11/24. I called the 800 number and the automated recording advised they are open Monday - Friday. I got to clean my own windows. Stay away from Sparkle Tech! read more

Just one more review that is awful for Sparkle Tech. I also had a Groupon I attempted use. I was immediately told I HAD to have all my windows cleaned whether I wanted them cleaned or not. AND I would be charged extra for them! Also, I would be charged for every bug track and every window screen. If you go on the Better Business Bureau's website you will see that every negative review is a Groupon customer and every positive review is not. I think (it's pretty obvious) they did not want to honor the Groupon coupons. There's 2 major problems with this. 1-Sparkle Tech made the deal with Groupon. They should have honored it. 2-The woman who answered the phone was IMMEDIATELY incredibly short and rude! There is no excuse for this. I did nothing wrong. I simply purchased a Groupon and now Sparkle Tech is reneging on their end of the deal. You would think that since Sparkle Tech is reneging they would at least be polite about it! One last thing. I should have checked reviews before wasting my time with this company. I had a scheduled appointment with them today with a 3 hour window between 11am and 2pm. At 1:30 I called to see why they still have not shown up. The lady that answers the phone asked if I had received any missed call this morning. I said, I have received many missed calls but no voicemails and I do not return phone calls that do not have voicemails as I receive a lot of junk calls. She then explains to me that they were at my house at 10:45am and since they did not receive an answer from the door or the phone they left...UGH!!!!!!!!! I was here at 11am in time for the agreed upon window. I have spent the last 3 hours limited to the downstairs of my house (I am pregnant and do not go upstairs when I know I will have to run down if I hear the door) all because the idiots came outside of the agreed upon time and it is their policy not to leave a voicemail - WTF!!!!! who does not leave a voicemail. The lady said, that they would have expected that someone not working would be home regardless of how early they come. Who the hell is she to say how I am going to spend my day. I work long hours and get one weekday off. I planned my only weekday off around them, I and now I am so angry that my day will continue to be wasted. Stay away from this company. Have used them twice before and was told what my price would be "for life" on their first visit now that I was an existing customer since originally purchased on living social. Same price again quoted to me when I booked my appointment for Saturday, the day of my Easter party. When the father and son arrived, I was informed that the price would be much more due to having to clean window panes, prior price only guaranteed for a year (it had been less than a year), not for life, etc. Humorous since same tiny house and same amount of window panes as before. I was told to pay up or not have the service. I didn't have the service. Looked like they had a fancier new vehicle, etc. so probably trying to pay for that through the customers. No loyalty. I am an extremely picky customer and do not believe in paying someone to do a job that I can do myself even when I can afford to but I cannot do the job that the SparkleTech team does. What impressed me the most when I first starting using ST was that it is a family owned business by regular hard working folk and it was father and sons team. I respect the legacy being built. The worst company I have ever "tried" to do business with. I purchased the Living Social Deal to have 20 windows cleaned for $35 on 11/21/13 and tried to schedule an appointment in early January. I was told they didn't have any weekend appointment open until April 5th, so I booked it because I'm not about to take a day off to have my windows cleaned. Well, I've had this appointment for 3 months and just received a call from them stating their "tech" is sick and need to cancel my appointment for tomorrow!!! Really??? I had purchased a living social voucher as well. I made my appointment 6 weeks in advance. I discussed the add ons for the window tracks and screens with the girl that made the appointment. We had removed the screens. The phone rep did not say that every window needed to be done including the garage... I was totally ready to go and had calculated my extra cost to be about 36-38.00. The rep insisted that they had to clean every window including the garage windows. This resulted in my cost being 77.00 above the cost of the voucher (almost twice than what I calculated) The voucher was 49.00 to purchase.The only windows that I did not plan on having done were two tiny frosted bathroom windows and the 2 of the 4 windows on the garage wall. I was annoyed, realized they would not bend the "Rules" on the living social voucher that said "valid only for complete window cleaning service. No partial window cleaning accepted." Since there was no point in arguing, I said to go ahead and do it and I will pay the 77.00. The tech then told me that I did not seem happy and began to tell me all about the wonderful yelp reviews they get and all of the satisfied customers that they have. I said I hopefully would not be unhappy with the work but I might write a review about the rip off charges. He then told me they could not work for me because I will not be happy so they were going to leave. The tech was using polite words but his tone and seething look of disdain was apparent. I told him I am willing to pay the 77.00 and I will be happy when my windows are clean. I had an event planned for the next day so I did not want them to leave and I was willing to pay the extra cost. He said OK and walked out, I thought to get ready to start the job. Next thing I knew, the truck was gone. I am sure they were overbooked for the day and since we had taken the screens off ourselves ,they were making less money than anticipated. So yes, I was a customer. They walked out on me and did not complete the job even though I was willing to pay all of the extra charges that I had not planned on. I cleaned my own windows and they came out great . Apparently they have all of the business they need if they can just walk out on customers on the basis of a technician's poor business judgment and customer service ability, which was severely lacking. I was going to try to contact the owner of the company but from what I can see here, based on other reviews, that would be a waste of time. Living social was fine with providing a credit for the voucher. I have used Sparkle Tech a few times. They do a great job when they show up, but 2 out of 5 times I made an appointment, they did not come. I found that if you have the whole service, inside and out, you have priority over those who just need the outside done. All customers are not equally important. Last Saturday I had an extremely important event in my home. The whole back of my house is pretty much windows. I called 3 weeks in advance that I needed the outside cleaned, and told the dispatcher I was having an event. As the day got near, I was called once and texted twice that I would have a cleaner on Friday between 1 and 3 PM. At 3:30 they called to say they wouldn't be coming and I could reschedule for Monday. That is just a bit late for my Saturday event. I had enough on my hands to prepare for the event, as well as the temps were to be rising to 105 degrees or so, and I am in my mid 60's. There was no way I could do this myself. I will NEVER use them again because they are totally unreliable and do not respect their customers. They make sure you know that it will cost you $50 if you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment. I'm thinking they should owe me! I waited in my home for them for nearly 4 hours while I had many other things to do! No to Sparkle Tech! read more

When I called to make an appointment, I was told I could get in that week until they knew I was using a Groupon. Groupon customers have to wait months. They did end up somehow squeezing me in the following week after I complained. Then, on appointment day, they called an hour after the appointment to say they could not make it and that I should call to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, they could not get me in until the end of the month. Once again, they failed to show up - and this time they did not even have the courtesy to call me - or return my call. Worst Groupon experience ever.
