I have used this company for general cleaning and Move out clean. They were friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend them.

Can get on the schedule quickly and they arrived on time. Those are the only positives this company offered. Cleaning service was fast and disappointing and communication after was even worse. Sweeping was the bare minimum and ignored all corners. Vacuuming, not even sure it was done to be honest. The only evidence of it was wheel marks in some areas of carpet. Mopping was not done, at least not that we can tell. Did not clean the top of the fridge and wipes down the counters without getting near or under anything. What was even worse was the communication after. Disappointment in cleaning was communicated, or attempted, immediately. We called and called, no answer or return. Sent texts since that's how they communicated to us, with no return. Finally a call back, owner apologized and offered a 2 hour discount. Got the invoice shortly after, the discount was not what was promised and the rate charged was significantly more than the "estimate" provided via phone. They don't actually come to your home to give the estimate, that is where the problems start. We contacted them again regarding the price. Crickets for two weeks at least. Then an email saying "one time discount, it was an estimate and not a quote". We paid just to be done with them. Didn't expect a free cleaning by any means, but also expected to get a cleaning worth the bill received. Do not recommend them at all. read more

I was told my house would take 3 hours to clean (2 cleaners x 1.5 hrs). I am always gone when they clean. A handful of times I was gone for almost 2 hours and they had come and gone in between. I suspected the cleaning was taking less than 90 minutes. A couple of weeks ago, I was home. They were in and out in 58 minutes. Great! Except I've been getting charged for 1.5 hours for a long time. What is especially frustrating is that the cleaning job is always bare minimum, no attention to cracks, corners etc in kitchen and bath. I contacted the owner who said they would look into it. Crickets. So way over charged for a C- cleaning job for months and months. I fired them. They should refund me hundreds of dollars. One positive: The cleaners are nice and friendly. So they do have that going for them. read more

They are not good at communicating - text the day before as to when the crew was coming and never any set day/time. The last time the crew was to come I got several text messages saying the crew couldn't find the key. the gate was locked - I have no gate and that the key was under the mat - I stopped by in the afternoon and the key was right where I left it. I took pictures and sent them. As far as cleaning - I had to ask thru email to please pick up knickknacks up from furniture surfaces, to dust the surface and the knocknack but it never got done - it looked like they took a dust feather and dusted around everything. And they never answered my emails. But I sure got the bill thru email! I work hard and make a monthly budget to have my house cleaned as I don't have time. I have discontinued using them as of today. We had Jenny and James come and do a deep clean for us before we start regular service. Our house is immaculate! They were right on time, communicated with us before arrival, and when they were done so we could do a walk through with them. Their pricing is very reasonable. They were so friendly and took such good care of our home. I can't wait to have them back! read more

We had asked for a move-out clean, and getting everything scheduled was a breeze, however, the level of cleaning that was not was not good. The windows were not cleaned, the sliding door glass was not touched, and the floors were barely vacuumed. The hard wood floors you would touch them with a paper towel and the towel was brown. I am still determining if they even mopped. They made a point to call and tell me that there was extra dog hair and that I would be charged more for it, which was fine, but I expected them actually to clean for the extra amount that I had charged. I had someone else come in the next day and they cleaned out THREE full buckets of dirt and dog hair just from vacuuming with a simple Bissle vacuum cleaner. They charged me $625 and when I texted to let them know that the job was not up to standard they did not even offer a refund or cut off some of the amount. Do not go with this cleaner, horrible service and no integrity. read more

Waited and waited. Finally after 45 minutes late I called and cancelled. The owner of Sparkle Clean made several excuses...one being all the cleaners meet at the shop first? Second excuse was one lady had an emergency...sorry, I can't control that. Could some one have called when they weren't going to be on time? Not professional. Unreliable service. Sometimes things were done, sometimes not. Asked if they had a cleaning list of standard services to increase reliability and this was not something standardized at all. Sometimes beds made, sometimes dusted, sometimes garbage emptied, sometimes furniture vac'd. Sometimes it looked like they left with an alarm going off with rags etc left behind. They offered to do a 'deep clean' 'sometimes' but couldn't say what this really entailed other than more people and had no knowledge of which was being done other than the charge and was not evident based on looks. Poor experience. I had several issues arise while using this service. They had to reschedule and asked a convenient time for me. But they did not follow my request and showed up as I was showering. I had some minor special requests that they consistently did not follow. They broke a glass and did not offer any compensation. Several times my door was left unlocked after a cleaning. At the last cleaning, my kitchen counter tops we left dirty, back splash not cleaned and a dirty rag left behind. read more

They agreed to do a final move clean out, and said they knew how to do them. They showed up late and charged me, then left without finishing the work and I had to pay someone else to come clean. Again. When I contacted the owner she was rude and told me she wouldn't fix the problem. Awful customer service! read more

I am disgusted by this company. We had our house cleaned by Sparkle recently and the cleaners went through our pantry and ate our food. Specifically, we had some expensive chocolates from Paris that my wife and I were rationing with a piece each night. We knew exactly how many pieces we had left. We were shocked to see 1 piece of chocolate was missing from each box, and each box was stored out of sight in our pantry. I called Sparkle and left a message expressing my concern (amongst other issues we had with the cleaning that day), and never got a call back. My wife then called and they didn't answer the phone. Instead they immediately texted her phone, stating that one of their best managers was involved with the team that cleaned our house that day. They texted they "could see them eating a chocolate", and "can discount your clean if you feel that is necessary". My wife requested a call back to speak with someone to express our concerns, but they never called. We wanted to convey that this isn't about losing a piece of chocolate or even a discount. When we allowed them into our home to perform a service, we trusted they would perform that service without having to worry about them going through our stuff and helping themselves to whatever they like. This single act creates a tremendous amount of distrust, and it makes me wonder what else they went through and helped themselves to. It is also appalling that management doesn't see this as a big concern, and will not call us back. I am posting this to warn others of their business practices. read more

When I hired sparkle cleaning I gave them very clear expectations of what I expected. The first 2 times they cleaned they did fine, however the 3rd time they cleaned they forgot to clean the kitchen sink, downstairs shower, and the downstairs bathroom sink. I could still see toothpaste on the faucet. They also forgot to take out all the garbage's. I text to let the owner know how disappointed I was in the service and that I hoped the next time they came they would clean my home as I requested. The owner informed me that she thought it was best that we part ways. I would not recommend their services to anyone! read more

This company is a rip off. Do not use this company. I called and they told me 35 dollars per hour total. After they cleaned they said "35 dollars per person" not total. They want to charge me 350.00 for their clean and the normal rate I have always paid to clean my house is 100-150 dollars. read more

I tried two other services first and was underwhelmed but Sparkle's team cleans better and faster than I could, is professional, prompt and reliable. Not pleased at all. This company came recommended. We had a time and date scheduled. They never called to reschedule, they call 5 minutes before they were expected and told us something else had come up and they would see us in two hours. They did not ask, they told us. We were not available later. We told them that this was very unprofessional behavior without any explanation or apologies. A woman, we don't know who, called to tell us that since we complained that "you are just not our kind of client". My partner left a message that we would be posting about this treatment and Sparkle responded by saying that if we posted anything on social media they would call the police and tell the police that we threatened them. This is very bizarre behavior for any legitimate business. Do not use this company. Find someone reliable and with professional ethics. read more

Fine job cleaning, the girls she sent were very cordial and hardworking, however the manager was not clear about the pricing. She originally quoted my 25 dollars an hour, but failed to mention that it was actually 25 dollars/hour/per person and that she would be sending three girls. I emailed my issue with the bill and she never got back in touch. Today I called to speak about my issue and she claimed she did not receive my correspondence and I should have already known that it was 25/hour/per person. She also made a disparaging remark about hispanic cleaners. My husband is hispanic. This did not sit well with me. I will not be using or recommending this service. read more

We hired sparkle cleaning after looking at their website which says they use green products with a light fragrance. However, when we came home to all of our furniture saturated with an intoxicating perfume smell, we were forced to open all our windows and turn fans on in 15 degree weather. Our entire family felt ill. The owner blamed us saying that we should've told her we were sensitive to smell and that they spray fabreeze, like all cleaning services, to leave the home smelling fresh. Nowhere on the website does it say they will spray all of your things with fabreeze which is a highly toxic and very strong fragrance. Our things were doused with it. Fabreeze is not a cleaning product so I never expected that to be used, especially by a place that advertises as using green products. If you clean a house, that alone should leave the house smelling fresh. Fabreeze does not smell fresh. Our house smelled like a very old smoking hotel room. It was disgusting. They also broke our one of our blinds, which she said they would replace. read more
