A New #1 Burger in OKC! Our Burger Passport adventure brought us to Spark at Scissortail Park, and I think I may have found my new favorite burger in Oklahoma City! This was our first visit, and from the moment we took our first bite, I couldn't stop telling my wife how incredible these burgers were. I ordered the BLC Burger topped with pimento cheese, bacon, a crispy cheddar crust, pickles, and Prairie Ranch. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the crispy cheddar crust took it over the top. Outstanding! My wife, Lori, ordered the Spark Burger, swapping the American cheese for cheddar. She absolutely loved it, especially the fresh dill pickles that added the perfect crunch and flavor. The crinkle-cut fries deserve a shout-out, too. They were cooked just the way I like them--nice and crispy. I ordered the signature Pink Sauce on the side, and the garlic aioli was excellent. Before we left, I asked to speak with a manager--not because there was a problem, but because I wanted to compliment the team. Marisol was genuinely excited to hear how much we enjoyed our meal. She also told us about their limited-time Chicken Salad Sandwich, available through the end of the summer, and after this experience, I think we'll definitely be back to give it a try. Spark checks every box for me: outstanding burgers, perfectly cooked fries, a fun atmosphere, and a friendly, welcoming staff. If you're looking for one of the best burgers in Oklahoma City, put Spark on your list. This one earns an easy 5 stars from me. read more

The location is good for a day at the park and not a lot more. I went around 5 and it was dead inside. Many unhoused people were hanging around the outside in the park areas, and I might have been wary of bringing a child but I was alone so not much of an issue. The burgers were good. The grease bomb kind of good where the unhealthy was a feature not a bug. They were sloppy, if I hadn't got them without the tomato it would have been a mess. I don't think the burger sauce they added was necessary and didn't really add to it. I think I'd get them plain next time and add my own ketchup and mustard. The one thing I really hated though was that they want your number to text you when the order was ready. Just call a number. It doesn't make your business better and I dislike them having my number. read more

This little restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The family has been to scissor tail park too many times to count at this point, and we've always seen/passes Spark but always written it off as just a generic concession stand (cheap chicken nuggets, frozen hamburger patty, greasy fries is what I imagined). We also opted for a nearby restaurant or food trucks. Until we finally walked in and gave it a shot. Now I'm a little upset we took so long to do it! I got the Park Power Bowl - quinoa, sweet potatoes, avocado hummus, roasted chickpeas, candied jalapeños, almonds, and a little more. The candied jalapeños were the best part, but the whole bowl was amazing! And it was huge! I only at half and took the rest home. The kids got an uncrustable and the chicken bites and shared some fries - pretty standard, exactly what you expect. But my husband got a burger. For the life of me can't remember which one now, but he was so surprised with how good it was that he ordered a second to take home with us. I surprised the kids with a seasonal Lemon Pound Cake shake to share for dessert. I'm not a huge fan of milkshakes, but it was tempting to get a second just so I didn't have to share this with the kids! I don't know if it was the Lemon Pound Cake in there or if they secretly added some crack, but our straw was slurping the very bottom just from the time it left the counter and made it outside to the sidewalk walk. I will forever try any new food trucks that come around, but on days they aren't at scissor tail but I am, Spark will have my business now. read more

This fast food restaurant is adjacent to scissortail park so we went there for lunch after a bike tour of downtown. The views of the park are great with plenty of outdoor seating. We were kind of hot from our bike ride so we decided to sit inside. You order at the counter and the employees bring your order to your table. I got the spark burger and it tasted great. The only criticism is that the tomato was not ripe and I got the middle core mostly. I eventually just took it off. My husband got the smashie burger which had two smashed hamburger patties on it. He really liked it. read more

We were staying at the omni, and needed to get something to eat walking distance... and now that i've tried it, i think we should have doordashed something else. while the food looks great on social media / Instagram, the taste was just alright. I really wanted to try the pink fries, but the pink sauce was very underwhelming. i don't know, i still couldn't pinpoint what the exact flavor "pink" was supposed to be. Online it says garlic, but i definitely was not getting any garlic flavor with the pink sauce. I also got the california burger and it was decent, but nothing really special about it. for 10 bucks, the burger was just alright. I think the best thing about this place is that its located right next to the Scissortail park, where you can pick up food and eat in the park. read more

Always a great meal! We have the main sSpark burger with their crinkle fries and today I had their peach frozen concoction. Ordering is easy at the counter and they text you when to come back to pick it up. They have tables inside and out. Staff are always helpful, friendly, and willing to explain all about the pink sauce. I particularly like the crunchies created from the melted cheese around the burger on the soft almost a potato bun. Parking is plentiful on the street and when the weather permits to walk through the garden gardens is relaxing and enjoyable. We've never had a bad or even a mediocre meal here at Spark and when we're in Oklahoma City, we always make sure to stop here for lunch. read more

This is a little place at Scissortail Park is great! Quick way to eat some really good food! Foot long corn dog, very crispy fries (I got pink fries - which are delicious!) The smashie burger was dooo good, good flavor & onions galore. I don't love a ton of onions, like my husband does, but I tried and it was delicious ! Peach frozen drink special - good stuff!! It is fast food, no mistake but just as good as a fancy pub read more

A recent trip to see my friends Vertical Horizon at the beautiful Scissortail Park in downtown OKC, brought me a chance to finally try SPARK. A popular burger chain there in OKC. The stage for the concert was about a 100 yards away from one of their locations. So from all the hype I've heard about the place, I was finally getting a taste. You enter the building to place your order, they'll text your phone when it's ready. The menu was a bit small, had six options for burgers and of course you could build your own. I went simple with a double meat cheeseburger and toppings and opted for their "pink" fries. The order came out fairly quick. Beautiful burger at first appearance and the fries are definitely pink. The pink sauce is a type of garlic aioli, and actually paired well with the fries. The burger meat tasted like fresh patties, not frozen. My only complaint, all the toppings aside from the lettuce had slid to the back half of the burger. The first few bites were only meat, cheese, and lettuce. The burger is wrapped in paper, so it was hard to notice the toppings missing until halfway through the burger. The potato roll was a nice change for a burger. Again, the punk fries turned out to be the real highlight. Not sure I'll be rushing to try SPARK again, but if it's all I've got at the moment it'll do. PS ... the Vertical Horizon show was awesome as always! read more

Fun place to come and eat before doing the lights next door. Açaí bowl is tasty - how can you go wrong with a smoothie covered in Nutella? Salad was really good. The grilled chicken was very tasty and a large healthy portion of salad. A Spark burger was good. Cooked very well. And tasted like fresh ground beef. I have to mention the pink fries I just had to get it to see what it was Not really sure, but I could've used it a lot more pink sauce If you want to fund meal, go to Spark read more

Spark is a GREAT go to for gluten free if you are in a hurry or just out kicking around at Scissortail Park. I usually get a burger wrapped in lettuce (good lettuce) and fries. Oh ya, they have a separate, dedicated fryer so the fries are GLUTEN FREE! Woot-woot! They now also have a GF bun that I have yet to try. The workers are always patient and friendly with all of my questions and I'm sure there are more GF options there I just haven't tried any. I've never had any kind of reaction here and I've eaten here several times. read more

I mean... my custard was good. But nothing that really blew me out of the water. What blew me out of the water was that I paid 0.75 for one smashed up Oreo.. I thought I might get a little more. Bummer. I guess if you're in the park and desperate for ice cream you're in the right place. The service was nice and fast and the inside was cool and a great escape from the heat. read more

Went here for the first time this past weekend and it was fantastic. The restaurant is located in the middle of Scissortail Park giving you a great view while you eat. Parking was a little tricky and you do have to walk so be prepared for that. Service was at the counter, so you order and sit down. The food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh made to order. The star of the show was the banana cream shake. As a whole, it was amazing and I will definitely be back! read more

My Search for an In-N-Out Substitute Ends at a Fancy Sonic. I had high hopes this would be the In-N-Out of Oklahoma, but it feels more like a Sonic with indoor seating and corn hole. My regular cheeseburger and small fries tasted exactly like what you'd get from the drive-in chain. (To be fair, since Sonic's fry upgrade, they might even have this place beat.) The service was friendly, if a bit slow, and the food arrived hot. It just wasn't exciting enough to live up to the hype. My advice? Skip the food, but pop in for the California sports bar vibe if that's what you're after. read more

This small burger stand is just a half block from the Paycom Center. Clean when you walk in, pretty straightforward, order at the counter, find a seat and they will text you when it's ready. Interesting options for burger choices, we settled on just the regular Spark Burger. I had the bacon fries while the girlfriend had the regular fries. Food was hot and fresh. Fries were a little over done. Beyond that, great stop. Good meal. read more

I wish it was healthier to come here more often!! Luckily, my aversion to paying for parking stops me from driving over, but my increasingly frequent walks to Scissortail are dangerous... I'm so fond of the Social Order's work. Spark is a standout for its quality and prices. Everything is always fresh for me. I love getting a cheeseburger kids meal which includes a kid scoop of frozen custard that lets me try whatever flavor of the month they have or revisit their lovely, trusty vanilla. Otherwise, I often recommend the foot long corndog and the frozen peach club special. It's a cute, well designed space. I always end up here at weird times when it's not busy. It seems like it'd get chaotic on Thunder gamedays and other big events at the Paycom Center. Love love coming here as a lovely treat for myself read more

Spark is such a fun place! The vibrant colors and cool atmosphere with views of Scissortail Park make it a great place to grab a bite to eat. Sometimes I worry about finding a place to park when going anywhere downtown, but there is a huge lot across the street with lots of parking available. So no worries there! Ordering takes place at a counter, and you pick up your food there as well after you receive a text saying your food is ready. I had limited interaction with the staff, but they were helpful in answering my questions. The menu is simple, but has some options that add a twist to a classic burger and shake combo. I had the BLC which had a pimento cheese spread, crisp piece of cheddar, and bacon. It was very good. The patty itself was juicy and flavorful, so the regular spark burger is great too. The pink fries, for which Spark is known, were good, but not excellent in my opinion. I also had an Oreo shake, which was amazing. They have lots of add-ins to customize your shake. I am glad I found out about Spark and would happily return for a burger again! read more

Turn Up the Beet! Yes, the burger (I had a traditional Spark Burger) - from its super soft bun to the flavorful patty - IS all that, but the Pink Fries is where it's at! The "special sauce" is made with beets and it CAN'T be beat! Reminiscent of a Freddy's Sauce but with a pink flare, these fries go way beyond fries with ketchup! This location is downtown, so parking (paid) is not ideal, but it does overlook the beautifully landscaped amphitheater and park grounds. Eat outside & enjoy the view if you can! read more
