BLC burger, with two quality beef patties overhanging bun, seasoned and griddled, maximum beefiness, dripping with juice and good grease, oozing perfect pimento cheese, bacon crispy, pickles thin and perfectly complimentary, with a simple bun that did it's job holding up pretty darn well. To anyone scared of some grease shining through the wrapper, you have been warned. But the rest of us know you gotta have it if you want real flavor. It was seriously one of the best burgers I've had in the metro. I also tried a side of their smothered fries, specifically the bacon cheese version with added pink sauce. Heavy on the queso, but the sauce was nice, and the crispy crinkle fries somehow held their crunch. It was very good! Next visit I promise to try a shake, since they look wonderful. Just a note, prices are on the high side but obviously worth it. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially over the phone. I didn't spend much time inside as I had to grab it and dash, but dining room looked clean and pleasant enough. I enjoy the giant windows with great views of our downtown. The Spark burger was a burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and spark sauce. The pink fries are crinkle cut fries with Parmesan, parsley and pink sauce. The kids meal is a good price and deal because your kid gets a burger and fries and can sub their drink for a vanilla or chocolate custard. I attended the Soft Opening on Sunday afternoon. I received two tickets so I took my close friend with me and we tried different items. Everything was amazing! This is not your typical burger joint only because it has something for everyone! Meat lovers, vegetarians, and even vegans can come here and enjoy some yummy meals! I was pleasantly surprised, this shake was more than what I expected from a pistachio-flavored milkshake. Great job, Spark! You have exceeded my expectations! *Cookie Dough Milk Shake* My friend ordered a vanilla shake with cookie dough toppings, and she loved it! A classic vanilla shake and she mentioned that it wasn't too sweet, but still hit the spot. *Crispy Chicken Sandwich* This was hands-down my favorite item apart from the pink fries for lunch! The chicken is fried perfectly, not too much, just right! and the potato roll hugs the ingredients well...no soggy bun here! Absolutely delicious. If you're a chicken sandwich fan, you're going to want to order this item! *Spark Power Bowl* This bowl has a lot going on!! This is an amazing vegan option containing quinoa, grains (we had couscous in our bowl), sweet potato, avocado hummus, crispy chickpeas, red onion, diced tomatoes, candied jalapenos, sliced almond, chia seeds, and a citrus vinaigrette. My family and went here for lunch after doing some ice skating on a mild December day. It was a great way to refuel after an hour on the ice. We ate in the cozy dining room. The windows let in plenty of natural light from the north, east, and south. You can watch the streetcar go by if you face north. My first ever visit to any Spark location was at the Nichols Hills location. I ordered the Spark Burger. I decided to try one of their specialty burgers this time. I ordered the BLC. I don't care for pimento cheese, and I don't like much else besides ketchup and mustard for burger sauces, so I asked them to leave out the pimento cheese and put the special ranch sauce on the side. The burger was great with just the bacon and crispy cheddar crust. I couldn't tell whether the cooks made the cheese crispy while the burger cooked or whether they cooked it separately on the grill (or whatever it is that they use to make these delicious thin patties). Anyway, the combination of bacon and crispy cheddar cheese was a winner. If I order it again, I will ask for lettuce and tomato to add some juicy, lighter flavor notes. Other than that, it was an excellent burger. The rest of my family's orders came out fine: a Spark Burger, an order of fries, a kid's meal with a cheeseburger, and a kid's meal with an Uncrustable sandwich. read more

Cool Little place. Had to give this a try. Entrance door on back side, they need to paint sidewalk or something! Make a more pronounced entrance for sure. Big enough menu that it will take you abit to decide. I choose the hamburger with pineapple, cheese and candied jalapenos. This was amazing! The pineapple strangely was delicious. Alot of jalapenos on, falling out as you eat. Husband had the one with pimento cheese grilled on top. Also good. Buns soft. If you didn't pack a picnic or happened to get hungry Spark offers affordable food options with GREAT taste. They have ample sitting both inside and outside. If your dog is with you they offer water bowls for them to drink out of if needed. Additionally, the inside bar seating offers plugins to charge your cell phone or whatever is in need of charging. The staff is always friendly and ready to greet you with a smile. They offer a variety of food from hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, corn dogs, to shakes, and cocktail drinks. It truly covers all the bases. They even offer "pup cups" for your furry friends to enjoy a yummy cold treat while you enjoy your meal. I usually stick to the basics when ordering opting for the "Spark Burger" which is your classic hamburger and an oreo shake. I am lactose intolerant but the shake is well worth the damage. The hamburger always takes me by surprise because I forget how delicious it is, especially for park establishment the food is well-worth the visit. First and foremost, I think Kyle has been present at all of my visits and is amazing! Assuming he's a manager/leader and he deserves recognition for his attentiveness and customer care. Second, my favorite is the burger bowl-even with no dressing. The chicken sandwich is also DELICIOUS if you're not counting calories. The only thing I don't love are the "crispy chickpeas" in the Park Power Bowl... they aren't crispy more like just too fried, so they seem fatty and not an ideal texture.
