The only time the dance floor was ever empty was when people had to take a break to catch their breath. My husband and I really wanted to focus on finding the perfect DJ company because we really wanted a night where everyone was enjoying themselves and dancing. We were nervous we wouldn't find a DJ that could incorporate both Persian music (I come from a Persian family) and keep the party going with a mix of old-school boogie and today's hits. We were happy to hear that An Enchanted Evening had a wide array of different DJs that specialized to the couple's music taste based on the online profile they created with their must-play and do not play songs. Adrian really listened to what we wanted and we gave him the freedom to pick and choose which songs worked based on how our guests were reacting to the music he played. We were happily surprised that he played more Persian music than we were expecting which was a definite result of how well he mixed the music together to keep the night full of energy and fun. He also did a great job of not playing overplayed songs that my husband and I were tired of hearing at every wedding we go to. They had helpful organizational tools leading up to the event that kept us on track with which songs we needed and gave us an easy place to log them. We had a prep call with our DJ, Chris, who asked us questions about our musical taste, level of DJ interaction we wanted at the wedding, etc. And on the day-of, he delivered: the dance floor was packed and everyone had a fantastic time. My biggest fear in hiring a DJ is that they would be cheesy, or not be able to read the room, and Chris was neither of those things. Spinnin Discs did both my ceremony music and the reception - so they assigned us 2 DJs for the entire day. We worked with Anthony and he was great. They make it really easy for you to select songs on their website - listing out all the specific portions of the ceremony processional and reception that you need to select songs for. The need to select a list of songs for cocktail hour, dinner, etc. was a little overwhelming for me - I would have preferred if they would have gotten an idea of what kind of music we liked and went with that. Overall, I think the DJs did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor. I loved when he threw in some old school Blink 182 for everyone to dance to. My only complaint is that he played all of my "Must Plays" in a row more toward the end of the night instead of spreading them out. I also like that they do a good job of coordinating and practicing with you for introductions to make sure they get all the names pronounced right.

I was nervous about it since it was pretty cheap and everyone kept telling me that they must use can lights not led lights, so I went to their location to look at the lights and they were led lights. So, I booked with them and I am so happy that I did. The lighting looks fantastic in pictures and in our video. I would highly recommend them!

Started off with a nice call with Jeff Stitely going over the basics and getting some numbers together. From the first call to the abundant follow up and care to ensure that we did not miss anything their attention to detail was most appreciated. It was one big piece of the puzzle that we did not need to worry about. One nice part was the list of songs on line to get you started to give them a feel for what you do and do not like, followed by a page to drop in suggestions and ideas that you may like. We sneakily asked our bridal party what their "songs" were before the wedding and added them to the play list even though they were not in the C.G.C. repertoire.
