This is my new go to in the neighborhood. Everyone is so nice here, when they scan me in they toss my dog a treat. The actual shopping space is tiny but the people behind the counter are super nice, well versed and wildly patient when a new person comes in. It's a pleasure to stop in here. My dog tries to pull us in when we walk by lol. If I could change anything, it would be using the front desk for online order pickups so you don't have to wait in line. Love this space read more

BEWARE at the cash register. They may charge you one amount at the store, but watch your credit card as it will appear as a different amount charged. In my case, I asked AT THE REGISTER for my $3.00 return after purchase as usual. Instead, the cash register attendant gave me .40 cents as change on a $140.00 purchase, yet I was charged $143 on my credit card. SCAMMERS are taking this amount as their own TIP. Screw these crooks. They won't even give me a credit for calling in on the discrepancy. USE ANYONE BUT SPARC, or BEWARE at the register. read more

I went to Sparc-Haight today and had a traumatic experience. I asked to review a few flowers packed no later than 12/21, and picked 3 one eigth in conformity with the date I had requested. I realize (too late!) that I had been charged for 1/ 8 of Silver haze, an old product (6/21) which I would never have bought at the price of $57. He insisted I purchased it and couldn't me give me a refund! What business' practice is this? As I protested a was replaced by a most snooty and rude woman who said they "never did that.She was inflexible. As I vehemently protested, again, she told me to not act like a child. I've held off leaving this review because frankly the people behind the desk I like they've always been cool to me the guy at the door he's a bit of a cold fish and I think of him as a prick frankly but the reason I stopped going is simple. They have a system that you go online and order what you want and they'll contact you and tell you bring cash and come down and pick up your item when it's ready, I was fine with that. I've always followed their instructions, it's too easy not to. But the last time I went down there just as I arrived and was locking my bicycle up in front of their storefront I heard this woman walk up with her dog and say hey do you guys sell Edibles and they said yes of course but instead of telling her to go online order and they would get her order prepared for her and contact her they said come on in. I stood outside for approximately 15 minutes while she stood in there talking to several people when one finally went in the back and brought out a menu for her to look at and after about another 5 minutes they brought out some product and set it down for her to look at and examine she finally chose something but then had to go past their covid barriers to the cash machine to get money because of course she didn't have it. So by that time I'd unlock my bike and gone home and I called Buzz Delivery which I have always now used and will never go back to Sparc it's just too easy to sit at home and have somebody deliver this stuff up at the same price with the same discounts. And the drivers so far have been really cool and a couple of them even hot. SPARC sent me an email about a month ago saying they wanted to interview me because they said I was one of their better customers and I believe that since I was spending a couple hundred dollars a week down there but I never responded even with the offer of $25 off plus whatever discount they offered me. I don't wish to deal with these people any longer there's too many places you can spend your marijuana dollars so choose one that treat you like they appreciate you. This Spot used to be really good, great prices on flower and they actually had a reward system with points where you felt like you were getting something back from all the money you are spending there with them... Showed up today and went to get the usual, was told the prices were raised And on top of that they took away the point reward system, I think it's super whack to stop that and not tell any of the customers who have points built up over a long period of time, they pretty much just threw my money away that I earned by spending $$! On top of that the bud that was raised in prices was lower and quality & Hella leafy. As the pandemic has leveled me financially, I am most grateful for Sparc. Ten dollar eighths have been amazing. Cherry Dog Walker, Old growth OG, Apple Gelato and GG4 have all been excellent. Nicholas was friendly, professional and the kind of fellow that made my visit a golden one. Door folks are always kind. I don't know what I would do without this place. They sold me a 510 vape battery and it died within a week. Utter garbage. They also charge the same price regardless of whether you have a medical card. Sketchy. I've only been to this place once so far. I came across Sparc online when I was looking into alternatives to the dispensary I had already been going to (Liberty @ Bush & Fillmore). I'm a regular smoker on a very tight budget so I wanted to see if I could find better deals out there. I was FLOORED when I saw they had some 1/2 oz's for $25 a pop! One part of me said no way can that actually be that good of weed. I decided to try some out so I went over to their Polk St. store and picked up two 1/2's-- one of GMO Cookies and one of Peanut Butter Breath. I tried the Cookies first and it put me to sleep good-- which was the effect I was looking for although it smoked a little harsh. They have a whole bunch of other quantity deals on various brands of flower also. They've also got plenty of low-end, mid-grade and top-shelf weed in smaller amounts. I've gotten used to shop at the Mission shop. Last week when I was turned down because my medical letter expired, even though I was told that I could buy products with my drivers license in my previous shopping. Staff recommended me to go to the Haight and Fillmore, which I did. Big mistake. The shop was limited in what they have to sell. The worst service you can imagine. Once they had me wait for an hour, because they had no power. After an hour, he asked me what i needed. I had a default extract cartridge. He replaced it and added that i had in fact should have waited because they didnt need the system to do that simple exchange. Rushed to SPARC at 9:45 to by a $10 preroll I had purchased earlier in the day. I have neuropathy in my feet and needed it to help me sleep. After power walking 8 blocks to get there I was told the $10 roll was sold out and the next was $15. I had $14 on me and left my bank card behind. The African American gIrl with the mo-hawk was pretty short when she I asked if she would let me be short $1, she flatly said "No". She is usually pretty nice. Considering I had tipped her$ 2 on $10 earlier that day, you might think she could have been a bit more compassionate to someone in need. Will never come back here! Stopped in a couple weeks ago to see what the city had to offer. They had a ok assortment and 15$ for 3g pre roll. So I had to go for an MRI a couple days ago forgot my weed at home figured fuck it I'll go and grab a joint or a cheap bag at same place. Fucking ridiculous because they were low on flower their joints were $20 apiece and a eighth was 55$ or 60$ yeah right! But you gave me 10% off and told me to go to Lovesac down the road yeah right I an not going to none of your fucking places after that! I only really yelp businesses when they are TOTALLY out of line, and this is one of those times. My family and I ate brunch ate Kate's kitchen right next door and after were waiting all of FOUR minutes for my mothers uber to arrive. One of the employees came out and gave us and my 4 year old son a dirty look- he was being a 4 year old and I guess the grumpy employee didn't like it! So he goes back in but immediately comes out and tells me that we are loitering. Are you F'in kidding me dude! Loitering! I explained to him that we were waiting on an Uber on the public sidewalk and that We aren't going anywhere until the ride got there to pick up my elderly mother. So then the dude tells me he is going to call the authorities- I tell him to do whatever he needs to do to but that we aren't going anywhere because we are ON A PUBLIC SIDEWALK! As we were leaving I said a sarcastic goodbye to him as he was staring us down-and he comes out yelling at me, this time he has a security guy with him. And as we're walking away, he is still yelling things at us. Is that how you conduct business? What a joke.
