Okay. This place is not a serious business, which I guess is what one can expect from a pot dispensary. I've gone there 4 times plus today. Once many years ago, for CBD tincture for knee pain. I thought it was pretty expensive then and didn't go back till recently. I have asthma, so I don't smoke, but I do enjoy tinctures and edibles. I've mostly used a company called Buzz Delivery, and I've never had any issues with them. Buzz, however, doesn't have the variety of products Urbana has, and I wanted to try some different product. It's the 4th of July, and like any good capitalist indoctrinated American consumer, I naturally look for bargains when they are available. Well, today, I looked on their site and found a very good deal of 10 100 milligram tabs on sale for $19.50. See the attached photo of the online confirmation from them which clearly shows the price and description of the product in question. You know, I've had 3 recent encounters with this company. The first time, I was overcharged. on my credit card. The bill was something like 75 dollars, and they rounded it up to 80 dollars and gave me back change. I was nice and told them to put it in the tip jar and thought nothing of it. I paid a 2nd time, and I did the same thing except that when I looked at my card statement, I saw an additional charge on my bill. It turned out that they don't actually charge you for a card purchase but charge you an ATM fee. When I confronted them, they explained the ATM fee, which I thought was completely bizarre , but then i realized thats why they rounded it up. Lol. I thought it was a passive aggressive way of getting a tip but ATM s don't deal coins so they round up to what an ATM woulddispence. I really feel like a chump giving them a tip when I had an additional ATM fee added to my bill. The manager claimed they had their policy publicly posted except it was not obvious. Another classic bait and switch middle finger to their customers. It's bizzare practice because this is literally the only company I've ever been to that does this. When i go to Safeway or the gas station or even the U.S. Post Office and pay with my prepaid Venmo Mastercard debit card they dont round up the purchase then tack on an additional ATM fee. Only Urbana does this. So the following 2 purchases, including the one today I paid with cash. And no , I'm not prone to tipping people who take me for a chump. Well, anyway, I checked in and purchased my product, brought it home, and discovered they gave me 250 Mg instead of 1000. Now this is really interesting because I ordered 1000mg product but was given the 250 mg product which should have a different SKU. Don't they keep track of their inventory. It's a pot dispensary and this discrepancy raises red flags. When i brought it back, they scrambled around and then said they didn't have the product I ordered but offered me o khe less potent product at the price I already paid for the more pitent product. They said it was listed incorrectly on their website so brushed it off as a mistake. Lol. I'm sure the licensing board that regulates these transactions would not be amused by these sorts of errors. Imagine going to buy an advertised product from Safeway and finding out that Safway wants to sell you a let's say a can of Coke for the price they advertised a liter of Coke for and then using the excuse that it was a typo. If that was a legal excuse then why wouldn't they just advertiise items at a lower price then change the product once the consumer was in the store? Thats called a bait and switch. They get you to into the store to buy the product than switch it with a product of lesser value but charge the same price which is exactly what they tried to do to me. If they wanted to honor the deal they had posted on their web site then they should have given me the product with less value at a price commensurate to that value. If they were a serious professional outfit they would have admitted their mistake and they should have offered a comprable product since they claimed to be out of the product they had advertised. This was a classic bait and switch. And all they offered was a lame excuse. These guys nickel and dime you, bait and switch you and are unprofessional and not serious business people. All I can say is use Buzz. They are way more trustworthy and more importantly PROFESSIONAL. . If you go to urbana watch them like a hawk because they will screw you every which way but loose. 3 recent encounters and all had something shady about them. Those odds are just absurd. read more

I usually order from Sunset Pipeline, and I don't smoke weed, but I do love edibles and they really do help me relax. For some strange reason, Sunset Pipeline didn't have the brand of edibles I was seeking so I looked around online to see what else was close by. Urbanna is kind of closer to me, and I tried using their online site to place the order, which I found to be a bit complicated. I didn't realize that it had gone through and I wanted to switch one brand out for something else, so I called them to place the order verbally. The man who answered the phone told me "your order has gone through. It's being packed and ready to go now". I said to him "I would like to change something please" I didn't realize that it had been completed, and mind you we're talking about four packages of edibles. The guy just refused to change it and so I got what I got and I'm living with it. What I will say on a positive note is that the prices were good, and the driver was here within 20 minutes. I got the impression they take the order and they've got a few people available and ready to go, or maybe it was early in the day and they didn't have a lot of other orders. It was fast. If I order from them in the future, I will take a look at what they have online and then I will call and place my order so there is no confusion about whether an order has gone through, or I'd like to change it, which I absolutely was not given the opportunity to do. Having just lost my dog to an immune disorder, I really needed comfort at that moment, but I didn't tell them that. I think sometimes when a company is dealing with people with disabilities, they should take a minute to try and accommodate whatever their buyer is asking them to do if it's not something outrageous. I don't know how hard it is to cancel an order and place another order for four packages of edibles, but he was not willing to do that. And I was absolutely right, the package I wanted to change, tastes absolutely awful, but I'm living with it. In closing, the delivery driver was very kind about using the Intercom instructions and bringing the package up to my apartment. I didn't have to deal with anyone sitting in the car waiting for me and that was a plus. Had the gentleman who took the order allowed me to make a change , I would be giving five stars. read more

The shopping aisles are intuitive but still has that familiar floor personality who's navigating you to the "high that you're looking for" -- I'd wager it's because they have the tolerance to have tried the whole menu. And not to forget: You can *actually* touch and examine any merch on the shelves. Frankly, the consumption lounge is what social smokers have been waiting for. Classic cocktail bar layout, except the budtender brings you any thing you need; bongs, glass, rolls, wraps, and everything in between. Clean-as-the-lineup-after-the-barbershop type of clean. There's also a small platform in the corner for a band. Or a DJ in Urbana's case. And a ton of other social events, apparently. I think they're still figuring out precisely what the vibe is aesthetically (psychedelic or upscale modern), but I'll have to return when they have an event at night to see how they elevate it. Literally, every time, the tax situation for my medical card is messed up. We'll fix it so next time it won't happen--nope. So every transaction is marred by me having to say, no you got the tax wrong, having to explain a medical card to a person, wait for a "manager" to fix it, have to point to the tax still being charged, listen to some bs about how this other line item discount "offsets" the incorrect tax charge, hear some more bs about "systems" and then walk out not ever knowing if I just was scammed. Yikes! What can I say that they haven't screwed up? I have ordered delivery for many different hour slots, yet drivers often come either too early or too late. They often do not come up to the doorway, preferring to wait in their cars in the street without calling me or anything like I mentioned in my note, but they give me attitude like they were waiting for me for ages and it was my fault they didn't call me or ring the doorbell. In addition, I've had issues with random double ATM charges (two separate charges of $2.50) each. Just take your money and go elsewhere rather than spend it here. I've posted a 1 star review before and the business owner did their darnedest to get it removed. Beware, their Yelp overall rating is probably actually much lower. read more

I don't sleep well so that's the reason I came and will again. Melatonin didn't work very well and it apparently isn't good for you. Not doing a narcotic like ambien or an over the counter like Sominex. No way could that be a healthy substance. Teeny bit of thc 1mg-CBD with CBN in a flavorful gummy seems to help. No hangover no harsh chemicals no potential liver problems or addictions. I'm grateful there's an alternative. And that there is help. I came today and was greeted and was left hanging for 10 minutes before someone told me to grab what I want and walk up to the register. What I wanted was not out for that convenience. I had to explain to the rep what I wanted and he looked at me like I was crazy. Unfortunately this experience was also followed with a long line and more waste of time. My 40 year old son asked me if I had ever been to a dispensary. My yes answer was in reference to a sick call dispensary. Was I surprised to find that this was a shop selling all form of marijuana "medicinals" in many forms. Quite a surprise to find that there are many by products of the "get a buzz on" marijuana that are not the hallucinating kind. My wife has had trouble sleeping and that is what prompted this dispensary visit. We were greeted by sales person/consultant who really knew her stuff. Time for me to go to school. Focused on the issue of sleep, we were shown inhalers, teas and pills, all of which were devoid of THC, the active ingredient in the "let's get high" form of marijuana. I bought a number of non-toxic items and will say that they were pretty expensive, but if they worked...OK. And...I got a 10% veteran discount. Amazing. And yes, there were many forms of the toxic variety. And there was a lounge in the back where you could imbibe the product. Fascinating! And all of this was in a clean, neatly organized, comfortable, professional shop. This was not the hippie land of the 1970s. I did learn a lot and left very impressed with what is going on is marijuana land. If you have the opportunity, drop by one of these places to check them out. Only in the states with legalized marijuana will you find the toxic stuff, otherwise only the non-toxic stuff is sold. I like this shop and it's walking distance from my apt. The workers are generally helpful and friendly. My biggest gripe is the bag fee. I was there today and said I don't need a bag but the cashier charged me for one anyway. I let it go thinking she didn't hear me. I came back 20 minutes later to buy a few more items and told this 2nd cashier I don't need a bag. He clearly saw that I already have one as I was putting the additional items I bought in the same bag right in front of him. I should have checked the receipt there but didn't noticed until I got home. I don't want to sweat the small stuff but it's the principal here. Don't charge me for something I didn't ask for. Over the years, there has been a lot of turnover and their selection narrowed. I ran into a budtender who used to work there. She said the owner is creepy and it wasn't a pleasant place to work. Terrible customer service. 1st, the person offered to help me was frustrated because the item I asked about has a sale but their online prices was different. Apparently, they were unaware of the changes & it took a while for them to figure it out for them to honor the price. 2nd, the cashier, some dirty blonde ashy hair dude sneaks a joint into my bag. I'm thinking I got something for free but instead, charges me 75 cents for it. I'm mad because he didn't ask if it was okay to add it to my purchase. I also left the store without one item. He didn't want to give me the receipt either. When I asked for it, he gave me a dirty look. 3rd, I gave them a call & a lady picked up the phone, she was nice at first until she couldn't spell my last name. She handle the situation rudely & mocked my last name because the way I pronounce it did not sound like how she pronounces it. She was confused because some letters were repetitive for the second half of my last name. Me repeating myself or saying 'repeat these letters & add another letter at the end' was also not affective. Sounded like she was either stoned or had a difficult day. I apologized at the end (because I let out a huge sigh & she had a few words for me). She kept her attitude & didn't reciprocate then hung up on me. Update; she was so petty that she didn't put my order in for next day pick up. I almost got charged because of her incompetence.
