Angel and Derrick are the absolutely sweetest. I love their lounge room at this location. The claw machine was there after OSL but not ready for the lounge yet, and I got an item on my first try!! So much fun in the community space, have been in when they were offering egg rolls and chow mein for an event. Their prices for retail vary; the whole value prop is their complete selection. I bought a pen that stopped working shortly after, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful with the replacement. Rock on Urbana! read more

On the evening of August 14, 2026, the shelves at the Geary St location looked like a Soviet supermarket as there was barely anything on them. I've been going here for over 11 years (when they were 'Harvest') earlier, and I've never seen such low inventory. When I asked what was going on, the employee was a bit rude. The mood of the store was 'off', like it was recently robbed or something. It'd be best to find any other dispensary in SF, this one appears to be going out of business. read more

This has been my regular dispensary for over a year. The product selection was moderately varied, staff were kind and welcoming. Recently, something has changed. There is far less product. Some of the brands I grew accustomed to purchasing at Urbana are gone. On top of that, they moved to Cash only. When I was surprised at this change, the manager just said "there is a sign on the door". As a regular, I'm not looking for signage on the door; I'm busy chatting it up with the doorman. Needless to say, I'll be taking my cash elsewhere read more

Used to come in here and they'd have a good selection and friendly, helpful people on site. Went in today to snag a couple of cbd products and the selection was noticeably getting worse (lots of products and brands missing that had regularly been in stock and a lot of empty space) and got ripped off. Two $26 canisters were rung up as $68. When I asked the person at the register whether that was the proper tax she just stared blankly back and said yea with a lot of derision. Yea right, a 30%+ tax? And it was cash only, with an atm on site? Last time I go to this spot read more

By far my favorite dispensary! The staff is wonderful, their service is always great. They always have my favorite products and the consumption lounge is awesome. Such a cool vibe with the comfy couches and the events they do are so fun and creative! We loved the karaoke night and the pax pen engraving machine. And I always love when I get to use the claw machine! It has everything you could need! I can't recommend Urbana enough! read more

Although I'm more familiar with the Mission location, I've been just as happy with the Richmond Urbana. When either were out of stock with my favorite, their capable staff, guided me to comparable products. Always a pleasurable experience. I wish there was a location closer to home. But the fact that I'm willing to travel 20 minutes on a bus just to patronize Urbana, is a testimony to their quality of service. Thanks Urbana! Rellsky read more

Urbana - Cannabis Dispensaries Near Me - Sf, California

Okay. This place is not a serious business, which I guess is what one can expect from a pot dispensary. I've gone there 4 times plus today. Once many years ago, for CBD tincture for knee pain. I thought it was pretty expensive then and didn't go back till recently. I have asthma, so I don't smoke, but I do enjoy tinctures and edibles. I've mostly used a company called Buzz Delivery, and I've never had any issues with them. Buzz, however, doesn't have the variety of products Urbana has, and I wanted to try some different product. It's the 4th of July, and like any good capitalist indoctrinated American consumer, I naturally look for bargains when they are available. Well, today, I looked on their site and found a very good deal of 10 100 milligram tabs on sale for $19.50. See the attached photo of the online confirmation from them which clearly shows the price and description of the product in question. You know, I've had 3 recent encounters with this company. The first time, I was overcharged. on my credit card. The bill was something like 75 dollars, and they rounded it up to 80 dollars and gave me back change. I was nice and told them to put it in the tip jar and thought nothing of it. I paid a 2nd time, and I did the same thing except that when I looked at my card statement, I saw an additional charge on my bill. It turned out that they don't actually charge you for a card purchase but charge you an ATM fee. When I confronted them, they explained the ATM fee, which I thought was completely bizarre , but then i realized thats why they rounded it up. Lol. I thought it was a passive aggressive way of getting a tip but ATM s don't deal coins so they round up to what an ATM woulddispence. I really feel like a chump giving them a tip when I had an additional ATM fee added to my bill. The manager claimed they had their policy publicly posted except it was not obvious. Another classic bait and switch middle finger to their customers. It's bizzare practice because this is literally the only company I've ever been to that does this. When i go to Safeway or the gas station or even the U.S. Post Office and pay with my prepaid Venmo Mastercard debit card they dont round up the purchase then tack on an additional ATM fee. Only Urbana does this. So the following 2 purchases, including the one today I paid with cash. And no , I'm not prone to tipping people who take me for a chump. Well, anyway, I checked in and purchased my product, brought it home, and discovered they gave me 250 Mg instead of 1000. Now this is really interesting because I ordered 1000mg product but was given the 250 mg product which should have a different SKU. Don't they keep track of their inventory. It's a pot dispensary and this discrepancy raises red flags. When i brought it back, they scrambled around and then said they didn't have the product I ordered but offered me o khe less potent product at the price I already paid for the more pitent product. They said it was listed incorrectly on their website so brushed it off as a mistake. Lol. I'm sure the licensing board that regulates these transactions would not be amused by these sorts of errors. Imagine going to buy an advertised product from Safeway and finding out that Safway wants to sell you a let's say a can of Coke for the price they advertised a liter of Coke for and then using the excuse that it was a typo. If that was a legal excuse then why wouldn't they just advertiise items at a lower price then change the product once the consumer was in the store? Thats called a bait and switch. They get you to into the store to buy the product than switch it with a product of lesser value but charge the same price which is exactly what they tried to do to me. If they wanted to honor the deal they had posted on their web site then they should have given me the product with less value at a price commensurate to that value. If they were a serious professional outfit they would have admitted their mistake and they should have offered a comprable product since they claimed to be out of the product they had advertised. This was a classic bait and switch. And all they offered was a lame excuse. These guys nickel and dime you, bait and switch you and are unprofessional and not serious business people. All I can say is use Buzz. They are way more trustworthy and more importantly PROFESSIONAL. . If you go to urbana watch them like a hawk because they will screw you every which way but loose. 3 recent encounters and all had something shady about them. Those odds are just absurd. read more

Urbana Geary is the absolute BEST. I've been before, but I stopped by today and literally every staff member I encountered from the moment I walked in was extremely friendly, helpful, and kind. I popped onto Yelp to see their rating out of curiosity, and I'm thrilled to write a 5-star review to help bump this location up to a higher rating which they deserve. Their special gift for spending $100+ is awesome and a very lovely touch. :) Super big selection across multiple categories and knowledgeable staff eager to help with any questions. 10/10 recommend this lovely Urbana location! read more

Customer Service was excellent,,Great Selections, Value just fine. Today's Sale items were tip top..

I usually order from Sunset Pipeline, and I don't smoke weed, but I do love edibles and they really do help me relax. For some strange reason, Sunset Pipeline didn't have the brand of edibles I was seeking so I looked around online to see what else was close by. Urbanna is kind of closer to me, and I tried using their online site to place the order, which I found to be a bit complicated. I didn't realize that it had gone through and I wanted to switch one brand out for something else, so I called them to place the order verbally. The man who answered the phone told me "your order has gone through. It's being packed and ready to go now". I said to him "I would like to change something please" I didn't realize that it had been completed, and mind you we're talking about four packages of edibles. The guy just refused to change it and so I got what I got and I'm living with it. What I will say on a positive note is that the prices were good, and the driver was here within 20 minutes. I got the impression they take the order and they've got a few people available and ready to go, or maybe it was early in the day and they didn't have a lot of other orders. It was fast. If I order from them in the future, I will take a look at what they have online and then I will call and place my order so there is no confusion about whether an order has gone through, or I'd like to change it, which I absolutely was not given the opportunity to do. Having just lost my dog to an immune disorder, I really needed comfort at that moment, but I didn't tell them that. I think sometimes when a company is dealing with people with disabilities, they should take a minute to try and accommodate whatever their buyer is asking them to do if it's not something outrageous. I don't know how hard it is to cancel an order and place another order for four packages of edibles, but he was not willing to do that. And I was absolutely right, the package I wanted to change, tastes absolutely awful, but I'm living with it. In closing, the delivery driver was very kind about using the Intercom instructions and bringing the package up to my apartment. I didn't have to deal with anyone sitting in the car waiting for me and that was a plus. Had the gentleman who took the order allowed me to make a change , I would be giving five stars. read more

A proper experience from the aisle to the inhale. What social smokers have been waiting for. The shopping aisles are intuitive but still has that familiar floor personality who's navigating you to the "high that you're looking for" -- I'd wager it's because they have the tolerance to have tried the whole menu. And not to forget: You can *actually* touch and examine any merch on the shelves. Frankly, the consumption lounge is what social smokers have been waiting for. Classic cocktail bar layout, except the budtender brings you any thing you need; bongs, glass, rolls, wraps, and everything in between. Clean-as-the-lineup-after-the-barbershop type of clean. There's also a small platform in the corner for a band. Or a DJ in Urbana's case. And a ton of other social events, apparently. I think they're still figuring out precisely what the vibe is aesthetically (psychedelic or upscale modern), but I'll have to return when they have an event at night to see how they elevate it. That's a high joke, of course. Reminder to self: Ask budtender Cookie if it's possible to make a blunt with a Cuban cigar leaf and California weed??? read more

I like most of the people here, the selection is usually great, and they have some smoking deals (yes punZ) a lot of the time. So why the two star review you ask? Because everytime. Literally, every time, the tax situation for my medical card is messed up. We'll fix it so next time it won't happen--nope. So every transaction is marred by me having to say, no you got the tax wrong, having to explain a medical card to a person, wait for a "manager" to fix it, have to point to the tax still being charged, listen to some bs about how this other line item discount "offsets" the incorrect tax charge, hear some more bs about "systems" and then walk out not ever knowing if I just was scammed. So for all the med card people who shop here, you're likely being routinely overcharged. And I give up on you Urbana. read more

The lounge is a really good idea but on the flip side theyre still taxing 7-10$ on items . (Some say even more than that)It'll say 15$ but when they ring you up it's 24$ dollars suddenly. Yikes! What can I say that they haven't screwed up? I have ordered delivery for many different hour slots, yet drivers often come either too early or too late. They often do not come up to the doorway, preferring to wait in their cars in the street without calling me or anything like I mentioned in my note, but they give me attitude like they were waiting for me for ages and it was my fault they didn't call me or ring the doorbell. In addition, I've had issues with random double ATM charges (two separate charges of $2.50) each. Just take your money and go elsewhere rather than spend it here. I've posted a 1 star review before and the business owner did their darnedest to get it removed. Beware, their Yelp overall rating is probably actually much lower. read more

Worst dispensary you could go to in all of the Bay Area. It is ridiculously expensive you can get the same brand weed for up to 15$ cheaper at other dispensaries. It's an experience! Literally, from the moment you are greeted by the security and their decency in smoothly checking you in, which absolutely sets the tone for the remainder of your time inside! If you are a cannabis lover, you must be the kind of person who likes to find a self-nurturing zone where you feel like you are somewhat able to create your very own therapy like noone else could (So even if you ain't a Taylor, you might have the experience of being your very own TAILOR and create a tailor-made solution for yourself and what not!!) whether they are a certified therapist that you'd pay, or a friend to whom you'd later on feel like you'd have to somehow return the favor either commercially or emotionally when they would need you to get a job of their very own (In which you have no interest / investment), done! But then, there's THC and SELF-SUFFICIENCY! Voila! WE AIN't lookin' 4 D-R-A-M-A!! Perhaps a drummer... Her exceptional service skills made my whole experience go above & beyond as she meticulously resolved a lasting issue of membership points not accumulating and she literally walked an extra mile to include all of the previous purchases I have made which were not reflected on their points system! A true gem for cannabis enthusiasts like myself. What sets this place apart is their awesome built-in smoking lounge that's perfect for both relaxation and productivity. If you don't say anything, they over charge you, they add 30% tax, an ATM fee of almost $5, they round up your total without saying anything!? I would be shocked if the way they operate is legal. Giving 5 stars to a pot store not likely. I imagine there's one in LA with a lounge and tastings with cool couches, good music and some kind of art installations; that would be a five star! I don't sleep well so that's the reason I came and will again. Melatonin didn't work very well and it apparently isn't good for you. Not doing a narcotic like ambien or an over the counter like Sominex. No way could that be a healthy substance. Teeny bit of thc 1mg-CBD with CBN in a flavorful gummy seems to help. No hangover no harsh chemicals no potential liver problems or addictions. I'm grateful there's an alternative. And that there is help. My 40 year old son asked me if I had ever been to a dispensary. My yes answer was in reference to a sick call dispensary. Was I surprised to find that this was a shop selling all form of marijuana "medicinals" in many forms. Quite a surprise to find that there are many by products of the "get a buzz on" marijuana that are not the hallucinating kind. My wife has had trouble sleeping and that is what prompted this dispensary visit. We were greeted by sales person/consultant who really knew her stuff. Time for me to go to school. Focused on the issue of sleep, we were shown inhalers, teas and pills, all of which were devoid of THC, the active ingredient in the "let's get high" form of marijuana. I bought a number of non-toxic items and will say that they were pretty expensive, but if they worked...OK. And...I got a 10% veteran discount. Amazing. And yes, there were many forms of the toxic variety. And there was a lounge in the back where you could imbibe the product. Fascinating! And all of this was in a clean, neatly organized, comfortable, professional shop. This was not the hippie land of the 1970s. I did learn a lot and left very impressed with what is going on is marijuana land. If you have the opportunity, drop by one of these places to check them out. Only in the states with legalized marijuana will you find the toxic stuff, otherwise only the non-toxic stuff is sold. We have a lot of seniors that are using the non-toxic stuff for aches, pains and sleep. There is much to learn about this. Check out this rather new aspect of our culture. read more
