Stopped by this spot recently and had a really good experience. The shop is clean, organized, and the vibe is super chill. Justine helped me out and she was amazing. She was really knowledgeable, took the time to explain things, and gave some great recommendations based on what I was looking for. You can tell she actually cares about helping customers and making sure you leave happy. Good energy, great service, and a solid selection. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I will be honest, I dont know a lot about cannabis and all the products that can be made but when I still decided to stop by and have a look. It had a welcome and chill environment, the staff was attentive to the customers from what I saw. The girl behind the counter was very knowledgeable about the products they offer and made some great recommendations. She answered all my questions and never rushed me or pressured me into buying something. I would mention that I wanted something that would be chill and she gave me her personal preferences for that. I asked her for something much higher and she suggested xyz. At the end of the visit I left feeling confident in what I purchased and felt I got the best customer service I gotten during my whole visit to SF. I look forward to my next visit. read more

I like BASA, it's a great place to have as your local. My experience has always been that the folks working there, are friendly, informative & patient. I recently had a snafu of my own creation. I purchased multiple items thinking they were compatible with my battery. Turns out, they weren't, my bad. Anyway- everyone there including the manager/owner? "Ron," were super understanding & kind. The transaction was quick & I really appreciate the professionalism with how they handled my issue! Keep it up guys! See ya'll soon! read more

Price is good on some things, most in fact. It's hard to hear the person behind the glass and they don't speak up. I'd buy more if it were possible to have a conversation, ask ?s read more

I really dig the prices and hours. They usually have exactly what Im looking for and other options to choose from.

Great service! They helped us out a lot and very convenient. The flower is good! It has been really great coming to SF

I just wanted to give Kim a huge shout out! I am super novice when it comes to this industry, wasn't really sure what I was looking for. Kim really listened to my concerns. She made great recommendations to help with my migraines and never once did I feel judged or talked down like I had experienced at other places. There were a lot of options but it didn't feel overwhelming with her help. She took her time to really explain what my options were and how I might feel while taking them. I've never had such an amazing experience, the best customer service! read more

This was our first time to BASA and Nadra was very kind and answered all of my questions. I am newer to cannabis and wanted to try different products to help with my migraines. Nadra knew exactly what to pull and made some great recommendations. I can't speak to the number of different options, but from what I can tell they definitely have a lot to choose from. We will be going back in the near future to try other products and am happy to have such a great shop in the neighborhood. read more

Sadly their selection has gone a bit down hill. The prices have gone up, and they have zero rewards for long standing customers. The only reason they still get SOME of my business is due to them being in my neighborhood. I will note - the their staff is SUPER. Always very nice. read more

My last visit to Basa was a bummer, and I will likely not return. I placed an online order for some discounted pre-rolls. When I picked them up, the budtender charged me full price, then he was surly when I informed him of the online price; he did nothing to correct it. I emailed the store about my experience and have not received a response. I'd rather buy from a store that treats their customers better. read more

Karen is the most special employee! Shes so sweet and patient. She also included free papers! Love this place! $8 eighths are amazing

I became patient here in 2008. Now all I have to say is this place is so expensive you'll think you have a cocaine addiction. Seems like one of the more expensive dispensaries in the city now. read more

My 2nd time at Basa and yet again the experience was amazing. Jayde has a great attention to detail and curated my order with care, while offering an outstanding customer service. Such a please coming back! read more

Been there before to shop and it was nothing special. Went recently to pick up a donation and was treated with such a gross lack of common courtesy by the manager that I will never go back there. What happened: arrived there and staffer told me I didn't have the correct documentation to pick up the donation but the manager would help me. Instead of telling me to go to her window or her calling me over, they both left me standing there waiting without instructions. When I finally asked why other customers were being served by her before she helped me, I was told that I had an attitude. (What "attitude", exactly?) When I went to her window, she was rude from the get-go and then suddenly eclared that I had arrived at her window with an attitude (again, what "attitude", exactly?) and refused to give me the donation, which is only available there. No apologies from either one for misinforming me, making me wait for no reason, switching up the procedures from the last time without warning, just rudeness and insensitivity. I have never experienced anything like this before and was truly devastated. Got myself together to try again the next day, the only other day that the donation was available for pick-up, deeply concerned she would again use some flimsy pretext to deny me the donation as she had the previous day. Long story short, the next day she was rude, antagonistic, defensive and dismissive from the very first thing she said to me, including calling me a "fucking fake person" because I was disputing her distorted version of events and asserting the facts as she repeatedly tried to gaslight me -- and true to form, she made up an excuse to again deny me the donation again on the last day that I could get it. What competent manager (and in this case hopefully one with a little compassionate, as she serves medical patients) isn't able to easily and quickly defuse some legitimate, minor customer frustration, and exhibit some basic common courtesy, instead of escalating a situation completely unnecessarily and treating patients in this manner? What a horrible experience it was, two days back to back. Never again. read more

Came in for a round. Tab ran to $136 and had. $131 in pocket. Whoops. Good man said hey, we can help you out here with the neighborhood discount. You're good to go. Local and made a lot of rounds. Never got the neighborhood discount. Good to know. #blessed read more

I had a great experience at Basa! Everyone from the moment I walked in were very welcoming and friendly. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted exactly, but I knew I wanted a strong strain of flower and Nas was the perfect person that helped me because he answered all of my questions and recommended great products. I've been to a lot of dispensaries, but Basa definitely by far has the best prices! If you're looking for great deals and friendly staff to help you along the way I would recommend Basa! I definitely will be returning. read more

I have been around BASA for over 6 years, it says it all: always respectful to the neighborhood and its habitants like me :) Great deals, the selection they have is strait to the point and not overwhelming, and includes great selection and balance between classics and the new products. The cannabis industry is very competitive especially with major companies Eaze, Smokeland and Green Team and others. The major companies choke out the little guys by selling the same product for but you get way more for your money and its delivered. That said, for over at least 10 years, I have been supporting Basa. Today I went in and I was greeted by a guy who always refers to me using a slang term for me that I do not like. I find it offensive. The last four times he's waited on me, he called me the term and each time I ask him not to call me that because I find it offensive. Not a hard unusual request considering he is holding and looking at my drivers license. Today however, I actually got upset because this is literally the fourth time I've corrected him. And another employee (a guy wearing his little brothers t-shirt) who wasn't even involved in the conversation must've been listening because he got involved and ultimately said f*ck you (add the name that reall bothers me). So when I asked for the manager, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, I say (the word) sometimes. If other people are OK with it that's on them but I've made it clear multiple times that it offends me and I'm a regular longtime customer. At least I was. I even kept coming after they stopped the rewards program, which in this day and age is a big incentive. It's a shame. I can get a 28 grams of fresh quality product delivered to my house at the same price I pay for 3.5 grams of dry powder weed that pours out of the paper after you roll it from Basa, and the best part is I don't have to put up with hostility and rude employees. (I didn't include the word because I didn't want to debate it on here. To some it's really offensive and condescending and clearly to others it's not a big deal but that's besides the point. This review is about being repeatedly disrespected by a biz I've supported for a long time.). read more

Awesome place you won't beat it in the city. Selection and value are incredible. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

The owner took away the neighborhood discount. It was solid before they did that. I'm boycotting till they bring it back, I've spent so much dam money here. Go to Union Station in the Mission they got better deals. read more

I am done ordering from this place. They get my orders wrong now and they just arrive whenever. The app kicks out an estimated time when you order, but it's a joke. It used to tell you when someone was on the way, but now nope. If you wanna know when your order is going to arrive or even close, then don't use this delivery service. Only go into the store to buy. In store is fine, but delivery is the worst experience I have ever had. read more

If you are looking for reasonably priced (cheap) cannabis and the best customer service...then this is the place. There is a young lady by the name of Marie (I was saying good things about her to a couple of vendors who let me know they call her Shorty), she is the best...she makes me feel so comfortable while I am spending my small amount of money. I am a senior and she always puts me at ease and I love her for that. read more
